• In a fall-arrest system, it is essential to check the required clearance below the user before each use, in order to avoid
hitting the ground or an obstacle in case of a fall.
• When the anchor device is used as part of a fall-arrest system, the user must be equipped with a means of limiting the
impact force, exerted on the user when the fall is arrested, to a maximum value of 6 kN.
• Make sure that the anchor point is correctly positioned, in order to limit the risk and the length of a fall. Be sure to stay
below the anchor point to reduce the risk of damaging the product in case of a fall.
• A full body harness (EN 361) is the only device allowable for supporting the body in a fall-arrest system according
to EN 363.
• It must be used in combination with standardized and compatible components: connector EN 362 and pulleys EN 12278
for example.
• The resistance of the product can be significantly reduced by forming knots. When using multiple items of equipment,
a dangerous situation can arise in which the safety function of an item of equipment can be aected by the safety
function of another item of equipment.
• The Instructions for Use for each item of equipment used in conjunction with this product must be followed.
• Users must be medically fit for activities at height. WARNING: inert suspension in a harness can result in serious injury
or death.
• The direction of the load is given by the direction of the rope.
• Before using the device, it is essential that users read this manual and comply with its instructions, in order to ensure
safe and ecient operation of the equipment.
• This manual must be kept and made available to all users. Additional copies can be supplied on request or are available
through our website.
• The Instructions for Use must be provided to the user of this equipment, in the language of the country where the
equipment is used.
• Make sure the markings on the product are legible.
• This product must only be used by competent and responsible persons, or those placed under the direct and visual
control of a competent and responsible person.
• You must have a rescue plan and the means to rapidly implement it in case of diculties encountered while using
this equipment.
• You are responsible for your actions, your decisions and your safety and you assume the consequences of same.
If you are not able, or not in a position to assume this responsibility, or if you do not fully understand the Instructions
for Use, do not use this equipment.
• Never use a device which is not visibly in good condition. It is recommended that a visual check is carried out before
each use (See inspection §).
• Before using this device, it is essential that users are trained in its use.
