
4USE
The STRAPLINK must be used:
• Only after having read and understood these instructions.
• By competent people trained in working at heights.
• Inspected by a competent user trained in working at heights before each use.
• After a fall, the material must be inspected and changed if damaged.
• With a triple lock carabiner (EN362) in the strap loop designed for this purpose.
• On a single steel-core lanyard and by only one person.
All users must be in good physical and mental condition and have no medical contraindications to working at
heights.
5PRECAUTIONS
Pulling too hard on the loosening handle can cause a jolt. The user must control the adjustment progressivity in
order to avoid any danger. If necessary, test the product outside the work situation.
• NEVER USE a STRAPLINK if it is damaged or dysfunctional.
• NEVER USE the STRAPLINK for any other work than that recommended by the manufacturer.
• NEVER MODIFY or transform the STRAPLINK in any way.
• The STRAPLINK IS NO PPE for fall arrest. It can never be used as a anchor.
6CARE
• A good care and an proper storage of the product will ensure a longer product life.
• Hand wash with clean water and delicate washing powder. Do not use acidic or basic solvents.
• Do not machine wash. Do not put in the dryer.
• Dry naturally in a well-ventilated place far from any source of heat or ultraviolet light.
7STORAGE / TRANSPORT
During transport and/or storage, place the STRAPLINK far away from: shocks, crushing, grinding, rubbing, dam-
pness, heat, ultra-violet rays, corrosive materials, hydrocarbons, acids, sand, tools, any other sharp objects that
could damage it. Keep away from corrosive, over-heated or refrigerated environments.
