Dr. Ferdinand forsche als GrUnder des fursch+Unternehmens
wUnschte die Herstellung eines schnellen, kompakten Autos.
Er begann mit der forsche-Serie 356. Der hrsche 356 war
ein 2+2 Typ-Sportauto von Dr. fursche's Sohn entwickelt,
wobei die Hauptteile wie Motor und Transmission vom VW-
Fahzeug Ubernommen wurden. Das Modell 356 kam vor 14
Jahren in die Produktion (194&1966) mit Nachfolgetypen 35GA,
35&B und 35GC mit fast keiner Anderung der Gehduseform.
Mit dem Erscheinen des hrsches 356 war die Welt der
leichtgewichtigen Sportautos ein Gesprdchsthema fUr einen
groBen Wandel. Mit dem fursche 356 wurde ein Monument
der weltweiten populairen Autoserie "brschef geschaffein und
das traditionelle Konzept brachte weitere aktuelle Typen bis
zum Forsche 911 spater heraus.

Dr. furdinand forschg the founder of Forsche, when design-
ing the 350 intended to build a "fast compact car" above
al!. The Forsche 356 thus laid down the basic policy of the
Forsche cars. The 356 was a 2+2 type sports car, design-
ed by Ferry Forsche, the son of Dr. Forsche. lt featured an
engine and transmission adopted from the VW Beetle. The
356 was produced during 17 years, from 1948 to 1965,
gradually evolving from the basic 356 to the 356-A, 356-8
and 356-C, with almost no modification in its body styling.
With the advent of the hrsche 356, the world of lightweight
sports cars saws a new kind of car. The 356 became a mile-
stone in the world of automobiles, and has as a matter of
fact in many different ways influenced the 911 that was in-
troduced only much later.

Ainsi, la fursche 356 devint le moddle des forsches A venir. La
forsche 356 6tait une voiture de sport de type 2+2, construite
par Ferry hrsche, le fils de monsieur forsche. Elle comprenait
un moteur et une boite d vitesses emprunt6s A la \Aff coccinelle.
La 356 fut produit pendant 17 ans, de 1948 en 19G5, se d6velop-
pant graduellement de la 356 de base aux moddles 3564,35G8
et 35&C, avec presque aucune modification au niveau du style
de construction. Lorsqu'apparut la fursche 356, le monde des
automobiles de sport de poids l6ger vit naitre un nouveau genre
dhutomobile voiture l-a 356 constitua une v6ritable 6poque dans
le monde de lhutomobilq et a en fait influenc6 la conception de
la 911 qui ne fut pr6sent6e que beaucoup plus tard, de maintes
fagons differentes.

ser un outil de d6coupe (pince coupante). 50 Avant
de coller, examiner soigneusement chaque piece. 60
N'utiliser que de la peinture sp6ciale pour maquette.
70 A6rer soigneusement la pidce ou vous peignez
(ouvrir la fen6tre). 80 Ne jamais manipuler la colle ou
peinture d proximit6 d'une flamme. 90 xxxxx xxxxx

d6calque sera d6coup6 soigneusement puis plonge
quelques secondes dans I'eau tidde. L'endroit ori sera

pour faire glisser doucement le d6calque de son
support.
Please read and follow directions to enjoy assembl-
ing this kit. 1. Study the assembly instructions before
beginning.2. Check and ensure each part is definite
ly included before you start. 3. Tear up and discard
the plastic bags soon after you remove the parts.
Plastic bags can be dangerous. To avoid danger of
suffocation, keep the bags away from babies &
children.4. Use a nipper to remove the parts from the
runner and trim any excess plastic with a cutter or
a file. 5. Check the f it of each part before cementing.
6. Use Aqueous/water-base paint because it is safer
to use.7. Open a window or make area well ventilated
when glue or paint is in use.8. Never use glue or paint
near open flame. 9. The color reference numbers H(8)
indicated in painting instructions are the number of
Gunze Sangyo Aqueous Hobby Color, (8) are those
of Mr. Color. 10. Cut off the decals in use and dip it
in water. After 20 seconds (approximately) put it in
place and slide from base paper.

tionen vor Baubeginn lesen und studieren. (2) Vor
Baubeginn ist zu prUfen, ob alle Teile im Bausatz ent-
halten sind. (Q Folienverpackungen wegwerfen, nach-
dem alle Teile entnommen wurden. (4) Frlr die Ent-
fernung der einzelnen Plastikteile Schneidwerkzeug
(2.B. feine Schneidzange) veruuenden. UberschUssige
Plastiken mit Schneider oder Feile entgraten bzw. an-
gleichen. (5) Vor Verklebung jedes Teil auf Genauig-
keit und Bearbeitung riberprtifen. (6) FUr die Bema-
lung Farben fUr Plastikmodellbau verwenden. (7)
Wiihrend der Bemalung mit.Spritzpistole oder Pinsel
fUr frische Luftzufuhr, z.B.0ffnen des Fensters, sor-
gen. (8) Niemals Kleber oder Farben in der Ndhe von
Feuer handhaben. (9)xxxx xxxx xxxx xxx xxx xxx xxx
xxx xxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxx xxxx xxx ('10) Abzieh-
bilderausschneiden und in Wasser ca.20 Sekunden
eintauchen. Danach auf dafUrvorgesehene Stelle auf-
legen und Basispapier abziehen.
