1-Non utilizzare l’apparecchio con le mani bagnate, in luoghi umidi
o su superfici bagnate. Non immergerlo in acqua o in altri liquidi. 2-
Non utilizzare questo apparecchio in prossimità di vasche da bagno
oppure di altri recipienti contenenti acqua. 3- Staccare l’apparec-
chio dalla spina quando è spento perché la vicinanza all’acqua
potrebbe rappresentare una minaccia, porre particolare attenzione
quando lo si utilizza nel bagno. 4- Evitare di utilizzare questo appa-
recchio elettrico qualora sia precedentemente entrato in contatto
con sostanze liquide, se presenta il cavo di alimentazione danneggiato
o se sono evidenti rotture sulla parte esterna del corpo

o in qualche suo accessorio. Nel caso in cui l’apparecchio non funzioni
correttamente, staccarlo subito dalla corrente e recarsi in un centro
tecnico per un controllo. 5- Al fine di evitare rischi, nel caso in cui il
cavo di alimentazione risulti danneggiato, richiedere immediatamente
la sua sostituzione al produttore, presso un centro riparazioni autorizzato
oppure rivolgendosi a personale qualificato. 6- Evitare il contatto
della piastra ancora in funzione con la pelle: le elevate temperature
potrebbero causare bruciature. 7- Mantenere l’apparecchio e il
cavo di alimentazione lontano da fonti di calore e da superfici sensibili
al calore (plastica, tessuti vinilici, ecc). 8- Non reggere né maneggiare
l’apparecchio dal cavo. Evitare di avvolgere il cavo attorno all’appa-
recchio, di piegarlo e di sottoporlo a torsioni che possano compro-
metterne il corretto funzionamento e quindi danneggiare la piastra
per i capelli. La mancata osservanza delle suddette avvertenze ed indi-
cazioni potrebbe causare un cortocircuito e quindi danni irreparabili alla
piastra per i capelli, oltre che mettere a rischio l’incolumità dell’utiliz-
zatore. 9- Se il cavo di alimentazione presenta parti deteriorate dovrà
essere sostituito unicamente da personale specializzato. Non utiliz-
zare dispositivi e/o accessori modificati o che non siano stati omo-
logati dal produttore. 10- Staccare l’apparecchio quando non viene
utilizzato e attendere che si raffreddi prima di riporlo in luogo

sicuro. Per scollegarlo estrarre il cavo dalla spina. 11- Se si desidera
pulire l’apparecchio, staccarlo dalla presa di corrente e lasciarlo
raffreddare. Per la pulizia non utilizzare prodotti aggressivi contenenti
phenylphenol. 12- Destinare questo prodotto unicamente allo
scopo per il quale è stato creato. 13- Come misura di protezione
aggiuntiva, si raccomanda di installare nel circuito elettrico che
alimenta il bagno un interruttore differenziale (RCD, dalla sua originale
dicitura in lingua inglese) con un limite di interruzione che non
superi i 30 mA. Consultare il proprio elettricista.
Questo prodotto non deve essere utilizzato da persone con ridotte
capacità fisiche (bambini inclusi), motorie o mentali, o con ridotta
conoscenza del prodotto stesso, a meno che non siano state istruite
all’uso del prodotto stesso o con la supervisione di una persona

PERIODO DI GARANZIA LIMITATA:
il periodo di garanzia standard per le piastre per i capelli commercializzati al pubblico è di 24 mesi, secondo
quanto stabilito dalla Direttiva Europe 1999/44/CE.
Il periodo di garanzia professionale per le piastre per i capelli, utilizzati nei saloni di bellezza e per qualsiasi
altro scopo professionale, prevede la durata di 12 mesi a decorrere dalla data d’acquisto.
Per entrambi i casi la validità della garanzia avrà luogo all’esibizione della prova d’acquisto in originale leggibile
ed integra in tutte le sue parti, in quanto a far fede sono data ed articolo. Per accedere al servizio di assistenza
in garanzia è necessario recarsi con la prova di acquisto in originale nel punto vendita nel quale è stato
effettuato l’acquisto. Oppure si può usufruire di uno dei tanti Centri Assistenza Tecnica GAMA sul territorio. Il

prodotto verrà riparato gratuitamente, oppure immediatamente sostituito con un prodotto di pari o maggiore valore.

ATTENZIONE
L’apparecchio è provvisto di un rivestimento protettivo attorno alle resistenze di riscaldamento. Quando
l’apparecchio viene collegato e messo in funzione per la prima volta potrebbe verificarsi un momentaneo odore di
bruciato, dovuto al rivestimento della resistenza che viene riscaldata per la prima volta. Ciò non costituisce un
pericolo per l’utente e non indica un malfunzionamento dell’apparecchio. Quando l’apparecchio viene utilizzato per
la prima volta lasciarlo in funzione sino a quando l’odore non svanisce. Questo dovrebbe avvenire in circa 30
secondi.

ASCIUTTI. NON TOGLIERE IL SERBATOIO DELL’ACQUA SE IL PRODOTTO FOSSE ANCORA CALDO O
COLLEGATO ALLA CORRENTE. NON ATTIVARE LA FUNZIONE MICRO-VAPORE SE IL SERBATOIO
D’ACQUA È VUOTO.
ISTRUZIONI D’USO:
Per l’utilizzo dell’apparecchio senza l’attivazione della funzione micro-vapore, leggere dal punto 5 fino al punto 7
• Per estrarre il serbatoio d’acqua, spostare e mantenere l’interruttore di apertura verso il basso fino alla sua
totale rimozione.
• Aprire il coperchio di gomma presente nella parte posteriore del serbatoio per poter riempirlo d’acqua.
L’acqua deve essere pulita.
• Chiudere il serbatoio e verificare che non fuoriesca dell’acqua.
• Inserire il serbatoio nel suo apposito compartimento spostando e mantenendo l’interruttore di apertura verso
il basso per poi lasciarlo andare non appena il serbatoio sia perfettamente posizionato.
• Collegare l’apparecchio alla presa di corrente.
• Per accendere l’apparecchio premere il tasto . La temperatura che inizialmente verrà visualizzata sul
display digitale è di 130°C. Ma attenzione, l’apparecchio in automatico rileva la temperatura dell’ambiente
circostante e di conseguenza si abbasserà di alcuni gradi per poi raggiungere gradualmente i 130°C.
• Usare i tasti (<) e (>) per selezionare la temperatura di lavoro desiderata; sarà possibile controllare l’andamento
della temperatura grazie al display digitale. La resistenza è in grado di lavorare da 130°C fino a 230°C.

• Per attivare la funzione micro-vapore, attendere che l’apparecchio abbia raggiunto la temperatura desiderata
e spostare l’interruttore verso ; automaticamente si accenderà il led e la funzione sarà attivata.
• Per spegnere l’apparecchio premere il tasto .
• Scollegare l’apparecchio dalla presa di corrente e lasciarlo raffreddare per poi svuotare il serbatoio d’acqua,
ripetendo la stessa procedura spiegata precedentemente.
• Se la piastre è stata utilizzata con la funzione micro-vapore, una volta spenta, il vapore continuerà a
fuoriuscire fino a che la piastra si sarà raffreddata.
• Riporre l’apparecchio nella sua confezione.
FUNZIONE MICRO-VAPORE
Dopo aver impostato la piastra alla temperatura desiderata e attivata la funzione micro-vapore, tramite l’appo-
sito interruttore contrassegnato dal simbolo , bisognerà attendere circa 5 minuti per consentire alla spugna
presente all’interno del serbatoio d’acqua di essere imbevuta completamente affinché il vapore fuoriesca
correttamente.
PULSANTE CHIUSURA PIASTRA:
Attendere che la piastra si sia raffreddata. Mantenere la piastra chiusa e spostare il pulsante presente nell’es-
tremità verso l’immagine del lucchetto chiuso. In questo modo la piastra rimarrà completamente chiusa e sarà
molto più facile riporla all’interno del suo imballaggio. Per aprila, spostare il pulsante verso l’immagine del
lucchetto aperto.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE:
Una corretta ed efficace manutenzione dei prodotti consente di mantenere elevate prestazioni e di allungare
la vita del prodotto stesso. Le trafile se tenute pulite mantengono un’elevata capacità di scorrimento sui
capelli. Elementi chimici (colorazioni, trattamenti, spume, lacche, cere) presenti sui capelli, possono mediante
il calore, trasferirsi sulle trafile. Dopo ogni utilizzo, si consiglia di staccare l’apparecchio dalla presa di corrente;
attendere che si sia raffreddato ed utilizzando un panno umido, rimuovere i residui presenti sulle trafile. Evita
di utilizzare agenti particolarmente aggressivi sulle trafile delle piastre per capelli.
Assicurarsi che l’apparecchio sia completamente asciutto prima di utilizzarlo.

liquids. 2- Do not use this appliance near bathtubs or other vessels
containing water. 3- Unplug the appliance when it is off because
proximity to water could pose a threat; be extra careful when using
it in the bathroom. 4- Do not use this electric appliance if it has
been in contact with liquids, if its electric cord is damaged or if its
body and/or accessories show clear signs of damage. If the
appliance does not work properly, disconnect it from the power

when not in use and allow it to cool down before storing it in a safe
place. To disconnect the appliance, unplug the electric cord from

LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD:
The standard warranty period for the hair straighteners we market is 24 months in compliance with European
Directive 1999/44/EC.
The professional warranty period for hair straighteners that are used at beauty salons and for any other
professional purposes is 12 months from the date of purchase.
In both cases, the warranty shall be valid upon presentation of the proof of purchase consisting of original
invoice or purchase ticket indicating the date of purchase and product type. Such proof must be legible, full
and undamaged.
CAUTION
This appliance is designed with a protective coating around the heating coils. When plugged in and operated
for the first time, there may be a momentary burning smell. This occurs when the coating around the heating
element is heated for the first time. This is not dangerous for the user and does not indicate a defect in the
unit. When using the appliance for the first time, keep it working until the smell dissipates. Smoke dissipates
after about 30 seconds.

IMPORTANT: THE APPLIANCE IS TO BE USED ON COMPLETELY DRY HAIR. DO NOT REMOVE THE
WATER RESERVOIR IF THE PRODUCT IS STILL HOT OR PLUGGED INTO THE POWER OUTLET. DO
NOT ACTIVATE THE MICRO STEAM FUNCTION IF THE WATER RESERVOIR IS EMPTY.
USE INSTRUCTIONS:
To use the appliance without activating the micro steam function, read from point 5 to point 7.
• To remove the water reservoir, move the opening switch downward and hold it down until the reservoir has
been completely removed.
• Open the rubber cover found on the back of the reservoir in order to fill it with water. Only use clean water.
• Close the reservoir and make sure that no water leaks out.
• Insert the reservoir into its special compartment, moving the opening switch downward and holding it down;
release the switch as soon as the reservoir is perfectly positioned.
• Plug the appliance into the power outlet.
• Turn on the appliance by pressing the button. The digital display will initially show a temperature of
130°C. Note however that the appliance automatically detects the temperature of the surrounding environment
and therefore it will decrease by a few degrees before gradually reaching 130°C.
• Use the (<) and (>) buttons to select the desired working temperature: the digital display will show information
about temperature progress. The heating element is capable of working from 130°C up to 230°C.
• To activate the micro steam function, wait for the appliance to reach the desired temperature and move the
switch towards ; the LED will automatically light up and the function will be activated.
• Turn off the appliance by pressing the button.
• Unplug the appliance from the power outlet and let it cool down; then empty the water reservoir, repeating
the same procedure explained beforehand.
• If the hair straightener has been used with the micro-steam function, once switched off, the steam will
continue to come out until the straightener has cooled down.
• Put the appliance back in its box.

MICRO-STEAM FUNCTION
After setting the hair straightener to the desired temperature and activating the micro-steam function, use the
switch marked with the symbol , it will be necessary to wait approximately 5 minutes to allow the sponge
inside the water tank to be soaked completely so that the steam comes out correctly.
HAIR STRAIGHTENER LOCK BUTTON:
Wait until the hair straightener has cooled down. Keep the hair straightener closed and move the button on
the end towards the closed lock icon. In this way the hair straightener will remain completely closed and it will
be much easier to put it back in its box. To open it, move the button towards the open lock icon.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
Keep your appliance well maintained in order to ensure the best performance and to extend product life cycle.
If kept clean, the heating plates will continue to glide easily through your hair. Heat can cause chemical
elements (colourings, treatments, mousse, sprays, waxes, etc.) on your hair to be transferred onto the heating
plates. After each use, we recommend disconnecting the appliance from the electrical outlet; let it cool down
and then use a damp cloth to remove any residues from the heating plates. Do not use particularly aggressive
agents on the heating plates of the hair straighteners.
Make sure that the appliance is completely dry before using it.

INSTRUKCJE UŻYCIA:
Instrukcje użycia urządzenia bez włączania funkcji mikropary zostały podane w pkt 5–7
• W celu zdjęcia zbiornika na wodę, przesunąć przełącznik otwierania do dołu i przytrzymać go, aż do
całkowitego zdjęcia zbiornika.
• Otworzyć gumową pokrywę znajdującą się w tylnej części zbiornika, aby móc napełnić go wodą. Woda musi
być czysta.
• Zamknąć zbiornik i upewnić się, że nie wydostaje się z niego woda.
• Włożyć zbiornik w odpowiednie miejsce w urządzeniu, przesuwając przełącznik otwierania w dół i
przytrzymując, a następnie, po odpowiednim umieszczeniu zbiornika, zwolnić przełącznik.
• Podłączyć urządzenie do gniazdka prądu.
• Aby włączyć urządzenie, nacisnąć przycisk . Początkowo na cyfrowym wyświetlaczu pojawi się informacja
o temperaturze 130°C. Należy jednak pamiętać, że urządzenie automatycznie wykrywa temperaturę otoczenia
i jego temperatura obniża się o kilka stopni, a następnie stopniowo osiąga wartość 130°C.

à du personnel qualifié. 6- Éviter le contact du fer à lisser allumé
avec la peau : les températures élevées pourraient causer des
brûlures. 7- Conserver l’appareil et le câble à l’écart des sources de
chaleur et des surfaces sensibles à la chaleur (plastique, tissus en
vinyle, etc.). 8- Ne pas tenir ni manipuler l’appareil par le câble.
Éviter d’enrouler le câble autour de l’appareil, de le plier et de le
soumettre à des torsions susceptibles de compromettre son bon
fonctionnement et d’endommager le fer à lisser. Le non-respect de
ces avertissements et indications pourrait provoquer un court-circuit
et des dégâts irréparables du fer à lisser et risquerait de surcroît de
mettre en danger l’utilisateur. 9- Si le câble d’alimentation est abîmé,
il doit être remplacé par du personnel spécialisé. Ne pas utiliser de
dispositifs et /ou d’accessoires modifiés ou qui n’aient pas été
homologués par le fabricant. 10- Débrancher l’appareil quand il
n’est pas utilisé et attendre qu’il refroidisse avant de le ranger en
lieu sûr. Pour le débrancher, retirer le câble de la

prise. 11- Pour nettoyer l’appareil, le débrancher de la prise de courant
et attendre qu’il refroidisse. Pour son nettoyage, ne pas utiliser de
produits agressifs contenant du phénylphénol. 12- Destiner ce produit
au seul but pour lequel il a été créé. 13- En guise de protection
additionnelle, il est conseillé d’installer dans le circuit électrique de
la salle de bain un dispositif différentiel résiduel (RCD en anglais)
dont la limite de coupure ne dépasse 30mA. S’adresser à son électricien.
Ce produit ne doit pas être utilisé par des personnes ayant des
capacités physiques (y compris les enfants), motrices ou mentales
réduites, ou encore une connaissance limitée du produit, à moins
qu’elles n’aient été informées sur la façon d’utiliser le produit ou
qu’elles ne soient sous le surveillance d’une personne responsable
de leur sécurité. Les enfants doivent être constamment surveillés
afin d’éviter qu’ils ne jouent avec les produits.
Ne pas utiliser cet appareil à proximité de baignoires ou
d’autres vasques ou récipients contenant de l’eau.

PÉRIODES DE GARANTIE LIMITÉE :
la période de garantie normale de nos fers à lisser en vente dans le commerce est de 24 mois, selon les dispositions
de la Directive européenne 1999/44/CE.
La période de garantie professionnelle pour les fers à lisser qui sont utilisés dans les salons de coiffure ou
à toutes autres fins professionnelles est de 12 mois à compter de la date d'achat.
Dans les deux cas, la garantie sera valable sur présentation du ticket de caisse original lisible et en parfait état
puisque ce sont la date et l'article qui font foi.
ATTENTION
L’appareil est muni d’un revêtement de protection autour des résistances de chauffage. Lorsque l’appareil est
branché et allumé pour la première fois, il pourrait dégager momentanément une odeur de brûlé, due au
revêtement de la résistance qui est chauffée pour la première fois. Cela ne représente aucun danger pour
l’utilisateur et n’indique pas un mauvais fonctionnement de l’appareil. Lorsque l’appareil est utilisé pour la
première fois, le laisser en fonction jusqu’à la disparition de l’odeur. En principe, ce phénomène devrait durer
environ 30 secondes.

COURANT. NE PAS ACTIVER LA FONCTION MICRO-VAPEUR SI LE RÉSERVOIR D'EAU EST VIDE.
MODE D’EMPLOI :
Pour utiliser l'appareil sans activer la fonction micro-vapeur, lire du point 5 au point 7
• Pour sortir le réservoir d'eau, déplacer et maintenir l'interrupteur d'ouverture vers le bas jusqu'à ce qu'il soit
totalement sorti.
• Ouvrir le couvercle de caoutchouc à l'arrière du réservoir pour pouvoir le remplir d'eau. L'eau doit être propre.
• Fermer le réservoir et vérifier qu'il ne perd pas d'eau.
• Emboîter le réservoir dans son logement en déplaçant et maintenant l'interrupteur d'ouverture vers le bas
pour le lâcher ensuite, dès que le réservoir est parfaitement en place.
• Brancher l’appareil à une prise de courant.
• Pour allumer l’appareil, appuyer sur le bouton . La température qui apparaîtra sur l’afficheur numérique est
de 130°C. Mais attention, l'appareil détecte automatiquement la température du milieu ambiant et sa température
baissera par conséquent de quelques degrés pour atteindre graduellement 130°C.
• Utiliser les touches (<) et (>) pour sélectionner la température de travail voulue : on pourra contrôler la
variation de la température grâce à l’affichage numérique. La résistance est en mesure de fonctionner de
130°C à 230°C.
• Pour activer la fonction micro-vapeur, attendre que l'appareil ait atteint la température souhaitée et déplacer
l'interrupteur vers ; la del s'allumera automatiquement et la fonction sera activée.
• Pour éteindre l'appareil, appuyer sur le bouton .
• Débrancher l'appareil de la prise de courant et le laisser refroidir pour vider ensuite le réservoir d'eau, en
répétant la procédure décrite plus haut.
• Si le fer à lisser a été utilisé avec la fonction micro-vapeur, une fois éteint, la vapeur continuera à sortir
jusqu'à ce que le fer soit froid.
• Ranger l'appareil dans son emballage.

Après avoir réglé le fer à lisser à la température voulue et avoir activé la fonction micro-vapeur au moyen de
l’interrupteur marqué du symbole , il faudra patienter environ 5 minutes pour laisser le temps à l’éponge
dans le réservoir d’eau de s’imbiber complètement. Après quoi la vapeur jaillira correctement.
BOUTON POUR LA FERMETURE DU FER À LISSER :
Attendre que le fer à lisser soit refroidi. Tenir le fer à lisser fermé et déplacer le bouton situé à l'extrémité sur
l'image du cadenas fermé. De cette façon, le fer à lisser restera complètement fermé, et il sera beaucoup plus
aisé de le glisser à l'intérieur de son emballage. Pour l'ouvrir, déplacer le bouton sur l'image du cadenas
ouvert.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN :
Un entretien correct et efficace permet de conserver des prestations élevées et de prolonger la vie du produit.
Si les plaques lissantes sont toujours propres, elles maintiennent une excellente capacité de glissement sur
les cheveux. Des éléments chimiques (colorations, traitements, mousses, laques, etc.) présents sur les
cheveux, peuvent se déposer sur les plaques lissantes à cause de la chaleur. Après chaque utilisation, nous
vous conseillons de débrancher l’appareil de la prise de courant ; enlever les résidus présents sur les plaques
lissantes lorsqu’il est froid. Évitez d’utiliser des agents particulièrement agressifs sur les plaques lissantes des
fers à lisser.
Vérifier si l’appareil est complètement sec avant de le réutiliser.
