HD-2X IRONCLAD Erasure Verication System ASSEMBLY
• Completely read through the instructions before
beginning assembly process.
• Do not open equipment chassis. Assembly only
requires access to exterior of units.
Package includes:
• Imaging device and
HDMI cable
• Touch Screen Control
Head
• 2 control head bolts
• Mounting bracket

Using a torx wrench, remove three bolts from the upper right and
lower right side of the HD-2X face plate. Save bolts for Step 2.
Using a torx wrench and three bolts from Step 1, attach the imaging
device to the HD-2X.
See cable connecting instructions on page 2.
• Scanner, Stand
• Converter Cable
• DB9 cable
• A/C power cable
• 3/16 allen wrench
• T-20 torx wrench
• Stylus
3A. Attach stylus by slipping split ring from stylus tether onto one of the control head bolts before attaching
to mounting bracket and control head. 3B. Using the 3/16 allen wrench and 2 control head bolts, attach
touch screen and stylus to mounting bracket using center holes.

Steps to Connect
A. Connect IRONCLAD port #2 to
the HD-2X port #6 using con-
verter cable.
B. Connect Scanner USB into
IRONCLAD ports #2 (also, any
other USB devices).
C. Connect IRONCLAD port #3 to
image capture device using the
HDMI cable.
D. Connect IRONCLAD port #4 into
standard wall outlet.
E. Connect HD-2X port #5 into
standard wall outlet.
Optional PD-5 connection
F. Connect PD-5 port #7 into
IRONCLAD port #2.
G. Connect PD-5 port #8 into stan-
dard wall outlet.
