Your hood has anameplate on which is stamped the model number and serial number. To
locate nameplate, removefilter and look on back wall of hood body.
Model and serial numbers are also on the Purchase Record Card which came with your hood.
Before sending in this card, please record the numbers in the space below, or get them from
nameplate described above, and record here.

concerning your hood.

@Haveit installed and properlygrounded byaqualified installer.
~Havethe installer showyouthe locationof the hoodcircuit breakeror fuse,and
mark it for easyreference.
eDotakethetime to readoursuggestionsfor bestuse.
When using your hood.. .
Dueto the hoodfan drawingpower,specialcaution isneededto avoidspreading
of possibleflamefrom the cookingsurfaceofyourrange. M
Never leave surface units unattended at high heat settings. Boilover causes @--- -‘-
smokingand greasyspilloversthat may ignite and spreadif ventilating hoodis 8
used. Usesurface unit heat settings recommendedby manufacturer and ade- ~
quate-sizeutensils. N
Whenflaming foods underthe hood,turn the fan off. Thefan, if operating,may &
spreadthe flame. \_______
Never useyour cooking appliance for warming or heating the room. The elec-
trical wiring of your rangeventilating hoodmay not withstand the resulting ex- W
cessiveheat. h
Keephood and greasefilters clean accordingto instructions to maintain good $
venting and to avoidgreasefires. \
