TROUBLESHOOTING
If the spotlight flickers, works intermittently, changes modes automatically, appears
dim or faded, or does not turn on, check and verify that:
• The ON/OFF trigger is moving normally and not stuck.
• The trigger lock is in the UNLOCK position.
• The batteries are inserted correctly according to the polarity (-,+) marked inside the
battery holder. Incorrect polarity will cause the spotlight to appear dim.
• Each battery end is touching a metal contact in the battery holder.
• The battery holder contacts are clean and the springs are not bent sideways.
• The battery holder is inserted correctly according to the arrow marked on the
battery holder.
• The spotlight's inner springs are firmly attached and not bent.
• The triangles on the battery holder and the battery compartment are aligned.
• The battery cover is twisted on tightly.
Firmly press the ON/OFF trigger several times:
• If the spotlight still does not turn on, replace the batteries.
• If the problem persists, contact GearLight for a replacement.
