Sehr geehrter Kunde,
sehr geehrte Kundin,
wir danken Ihnen für den Kauf dieses Qualitätsproduktes von GENIE. Bitte lesen Sie diese
Anleitung zunächst vor Inbetriebnahme sorgfältig durch.
Beachten Sie insbesondere die folgenden Vorsichtshinweise. Bitte bewahren Sie diese Anleitung
für eine spätere Einsichtnahme auf, bei einer Weitergabe des Artikels bitte die Anleitung mitgeben.
Bei Fragen zum Gerät oder Beanstandungen finden Sie bitte unsere Service-Informationen am
Schluss dieser Anleitung.
WICHTGE HINWEISE
1. Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Wasser oder sonstigen Flüssigkeiten.
Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt zu jeglicher Flüssigkeit. Sollte das Gerät dennoch feucht oder
nass werden, sollte es umgehend trocken gewischt werden.
2. Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit übermäßigem Schmutz und Staub ebenso wie harte Stöße.
3. Entfernen Sie alle Verpackungsmaterialien und kontrollieren Sie das Gerät auf
Beschädigungen. Sofern das Gerät in irgendeiner Weise beschädigt wurde oder nicht mehr
ordnungsgemäß funktioniert, ist qualifiziertes Servicepersonal gefordert. Wir verweisen an
dieser Stelle auf unsere Garantiebestimmungen und Service-Informationen am Ende dieser
Betriebsanleitung.

BATTERIEN EINLEGEN
1. Das Gerät wird mit zwei Batterien des Typs 1,5 V AAA/LR03 betrieben (nicht im
Lieferumfang enthalten).
2. Schieben Sie den Batteriefachdeckel in Pfeilrichtung auf und heben Sie ihn ab.
3. Legen Sie zwei Batterien des Typs 1,5V AAA/LR03 in das Batteriefach ein. Beachten Sie
dabei die richtige Polarität, wie im Batteriefach angegeben.
4. Schließen Sie das Batteriefach mit dem Deckel, dieser muss hörbar einrasten.
RADIERER EINSETZEN
1. Ziehen Sie die Radierer Klemme aus der Spitze des Gerätes.
2. Platzieren Sie einen neuen Radierer in der Klemme.
3. Stecken Sie die Radierer Klemme in die Spitze des Gerätes.
BETRIEB
Drücken und halten Sie während des Radierens den Ein-/ Ausschalter.

REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE
Wischen Sie das Gerät mit einem trockenen Tuch ab.
Achtung! Verwenden Sie auf keinen Fall Alkohol, Azeton, Benzin, aggressive Rei-
nigungsmittel usw., um die Kunststoffteile zu reinigen. Verwenden Sie keine harten Bürsten
oder metallische Gegenstände.
ACHTUNG:
Tauchen Sie das Gerät nicht in Wasser!
Verwenden Sie keine aggressiven Reinigungs- oder Lösungsmittel wie Alkohol oder
Benzin. Reinigen Sie den Spitzer mit einem weichen, feuchten Tuch.
Fassen Sie niemals mit den Fingern in die Bleistiftöffnung oder das Fräswerk.
- Sie sollten den Auffangbehälter leeren, wenn er etwa halbvoll ist.
- Versuchen Sie nicht Bleistifte zu spitzen, wenn der Auffangbehälter nicht korrekt aufgesetzt ist.
- Sollte der Auffangbehälter einmal brechen, müssen Sie das ganze Gerät entsorgen.

Die Garantiezeit beträgt bei sachgerechter Nutzung 24 Monate ab Kaufdatum. Bewahren Sie bitte
den Kaufbeleg und die Originalverpackung auf. Die Garantieleistung gilt nur für Material- oder
Fabrikationsfehler, nicht aber für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z.B. am Gehäuse.
Geräte, die von außen durch unsachgemäßen Gebrauch beschädigt wurden, sind vom Umtausch
ausgeschlossen. Eine Garantie erlischt, wenn Reparaturen ohne ausdrückliche Einwilligung
unseres Kundenservices durchgeführt wurden.
Garantiereparaturen können nur mit beigefügtem Kaufbeleg erfolgen – jede Rücksendung bitte

INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of the GENIE battery operated pencil sharpener. This is a
precision instrument designed specifically to provide reliability, durability, and outstanding
performance.
In order to ensure the scale continues to deliver peak performance, please read these operation
instructions carefully and thoroughly prior to initial usage.
IMPORTANT
1. The manufacturer does not warrant this unit to be waterproof. Do not expose this product to
rain or moisture.
2. Avoid contact with too much dirt and dust as well as impacts.
3. Remove all packaging materials and check for damage. If any damage occurs to the
sharpener or it may not work properly, contact our service department. Please see our
warranty and service information at the end of this manual

INSTALL BATTERIES
1. The unit is powered by two 1.5V AAA / LR03 batteries (not included).
2. Slide the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow and lift it off.
3. Insert two 1.5V AAA / LR03 batteries into the battery compartment. Observe the correct
polarity, as indicated in the battery compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment with the cover, which must engage audibly.
CHANGE ERASER
Pull the eraser clamp from the tip of the unit.
1. Place a new eraser in the clamp.
Insert the eraser clamp into the tip of the unit.
IN USE
Press and hold the power button during erasing.
CLEANING AND CARE
Wipe the unit with a dry cloth.
Attention! Never use alcohol, acetone, benzene, aggressive cleaning agents, etc. to clean
the plastic parts. Do not use hard brushes or metallic objects.

Caution:
DO NOT immerse main unit in water while cleaning.
DO NOT use any solvents such as alcohol, benzene or thinner to clean the unit.
Never insert hand or finger into pencil or receptacle tray opening.
- Always empty the pencil shavings when the receptacle is approximately half full.
- When the receptacle is removed, do not touch the cutter.
- Do not attempt to sharpen pencils while the receptacle cover is open.
- If the receptacle breaks, dispose of the entire unit.
HANDLING THE GUARANTEE
Thank you very much for purchasing this GENIE product. Please note the following advice
whenever this machine does not function faultlessly, contrary to expectations.
The guarantee period amounts to 24 months from the date of purchase, provided that the machine
has been used appropriately. Please keep the proof-of-purchase voucher and original packaging in
a safe place. The warranty is only valid for defects in materials or fabrication. However, it is invalid
for damage that has occurred to breakable parts, e.g., on the casing. Machines that have been
damaged by inappropriate use externally, are excluded from being exchanged. A guarantee will
expire whenever any repairs have been carried out without the express consent of our customer
service department.
Repairs under the guarantee can only be made when the proof-of-purchase voucher is enclosed
with the defective machine – please notify us about the return by telephone! Only returns
bearing the appropriate return number can be accepted. Please give your name, address, post
code, town and telephone number with the dialing code. Please state the reason for your complaint
too.

précision conçu spécifiquement pour vous apporter fiabilité, durabilité et une prestation excellente.
Afin de continuer à assurer une performance optimale, veuillez lire attentivement ces instructions
d’utilisation en entier avant la première utilisation de l’appareil.
Veuillez respecter tout particulièrement les indications de sécurité suivantes. Nous vous prions de
conserver ce mode d’emploi en cas de besoin de vérification ultérieure et de transmettre le mode
d’emploi avec l’article si vous donnez celui-ci. Si vous avez des questions sur l’appareil ou des
réclamations, veuillez trouver notre service d’informations à la fin de ce mode d’emploi.
IMPORTANT
1. Le fabricant ne garantit pas l’imperméabilité de cet appareil. Ne l’exposez pas à l’eau ou à

INSERTION DES PILES
1. L’appareil fonctionne avec deux piles de type 1,5 V AAA/LR03 (non incluses).
2. Faites glisser le couvercle du compartiment à piles dans le sens de la flèche et soulevez-le.
3. Insérez deux piles de type 1,5 V AAA/LR03 dans le compartiment à piles. Respectez la
polarité comme indiqué à l’intérieur.
4. Fermez le compartiment à piles avec le couvercle, vous devez entendre un petit clic.
INSERTION D’UNE GOMME
1. Faites glisser le clip à gomme hors de la tête de l’appareil.
2. Placez une nouvelle gomme dans le clip.
3. Insérez le clip dans la tête de l’appareil.
FONCTIONNEMENT
Appuyez sur l'interrupteur marche/arrêt et maintenez-le pendant que vous effacez.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
Nettoyez l’appareil avec un chiffon sec.

Attention ! Ne pas utiliser d’alcool, d’acétone, d’essence, de produits nettoyants agressifs,
etc., pour nettoyer les pièces en plastique. Ne pas utiliser de brosses dures ou d’objets
métalliques.
CAUTION:
NE PAS immerger l’appareil dans l’eau lors du nettoyage.
NE PAS utiliser de solvants tels que alcool, benzène ou diluant pour nettoyer l’appareil.
N’insérez jamais votre main ou votre doigt dans l’ouverture du taille-crayon ou du
réceptacle à pelures.
- Videz toujours les pelures du crayon quand le réceptacle est rempli à moitié environ.
- Quand le réceptacle est enlevé, ne touchez pas le couteau.
- N’essayez pas de tailler un crayon quand le réceptacle est ouvert.
- Si le réceptacle casse, jetez l’appareil.

La durée de garantie est, pour un emploi conforme, de 24 mois à la date de l’achat. Veuillez
conserver le justificatif d’achat et l’emballage d’origine. La prestation de garantie couvre les
défauts de matériau ou de fabrication, mais non pas les dommages survenus sur les pièces
fragiles, telles que le boîtier. Les appareils endommagés par une intervention externe et par un
maniement non conforme sont exclus de la présente garantie et ne pourront être échangés. La

IT ISTRUZIONI PER L'USO
INTRODUZIONE
Complimenti per aver acquistato il temperamatite a batterie GENIE. Si tratta di uno strumento di
precisione, progettato per fornire affidabilità, durata e prestazioni eccellenti.
Al fine di ottenere le migliori prestazioni in modo durevole, si prega di leggere attentamente e
accuratamente queste istruzioni prima dell'utilizzo.
IMPORTANTE
1. Il produttore non garantisce l'impermeabilità di questo apparecchio. Non esporre il prodotto
a pioggia o umidità.
2. Proteggere da polvere e sporcizia, ed evitare gli urti.
3. Rimuovere tutti i materiali di imballaggio e controllare l’eventuale presenza di
danneggiamenti. Non utilizzare il temperamatite al sole e tenerlo lontano da fonti di calore
quali forni, piani cottura ecc.

INSERIRE LE BATTERIE
1. L’apparecchio funziona con due batterie del tipo 1,5 V AAA/LR03 (non incluse nella
confezione).
2. Spingere il coperchio del vano batterie in direzione della freccia e sollevarlo.
3. Inserire due batterie del tipo 1,5V AAA/LR03 nel vano batterie, rispettando la corretta
polarità, come indicato nel vano.
4. Chiudere il vano batterie con il coperchio fino a udire lo scatto in posizione.
INSERIRE GOMMA PER CANCELLARE
1. Estrarre la pinza dalla punta dell‘apparecchio.
2. Posizionare una nuova gomma nella pinza.
3. Inserire la pinza nella punta dell’apparecchio.
USO
Premere e tenere premuto l’interruttore di accensione/spegnimento durante la cancellatura.
PULIZIA E CURA
Passare un panno asciutto sull‘apparecchio.
Attenzione! Non usare assolutamente alcol, acetone, benzina, detergenti aggressivi ecc. per
pulire gli elementi in plastica. Non usare spazzole dure od oggetti metallici.

Attenzione:
NON immergere l'unità principale nell'acqua durante la pulizia.
NON utilizzare solventi come alcol, benzene o diluente per pulire l'apparecchio.
NON inserire la mano o le dita nel foro per le matite o nell'apertura del serbatoio trucioli.
- Svuotare sempre il serbatoio dai trucioli di matita quando risulta pieno a metà.
- Dopo aver rimosso il serbatoio, non toccare la taglierina.
- Non provare a temperare matite quando il coperchio del serbatoio è aperto.
- Se il serbatoio si rompe, smaltire l'intera unità.

La durata della garanzia con un utilizzo corretto del prodotto corrisponde a 24 mesi a partire dalla
data di acquisto. Conservi lo scontrino e l'imballaggio originale. La garanzia viene applicata
esclusivamente in caso di difetti del materiale o di fabbricazione, non per danni provocati a parti
fragili, come ad esempio il telaio. Non verranno sostituiti apparecchi danneggiati sulle parti esterne
a causa di un utilizzo non conforme. La garanzia scade quando vengono eseguite riparazioni
senza l'espressa autorizzazione del nostro Servizio Clienti.
Le riparazioni in garanzia possono avere luogo solo dietro presentazione dello scontrino di

ES INDICACIONES DE USO

INTRODUCCIÓN
Felicitaciones por su adquisición del afilalápices a pilas GENIE. Este es un instrumento de
precisión diseñado específicamente para proporcionar fiabilidad, durabilidad y un rendimiento
excepcional.
Para garantizar que el afilalápices siga ofreciendo un rendimiento máximo, lea atentamente y por
completo estas instrucciones de funcionamiento antes de utilizarlo por primera vez.
IMPORTANTE
1. El fabricante no garantiza que esta unidad sea resistente al agua. No exponga este
producto a la lluvia ni a la humedad.
2. Evite el contacto con demasiada suciedad y polvo, así como los impactos.
3. Retire todo el material de embalaje y controle si el aparato presenta daños. No utilice el
afilador bajo el sol y manténgalo alejado de fuentes de calor tales como hornos, estufas,
etc.

COLOCACIÓN DE LAS PILAS
1. El aparato funciona con dos pilas AAA/LR03 de 1,5 V (no forman parte del volumen de
suministro).
2. Desplace la tapa del compartimento de las pilas en la dirección de la flecha y sáquela.
3. Ponga dos pilas 1,5V AAA/LR03 dentro del compartimento. Preste atención a la polaridad
correcta, indicada en la tapa del compartimento.
4. Cierre el compartimento para las pilas, que tiene que engarzar con ruido.
COLOCACIÓN DE LA GOMA DE BORRAR
1. Saque la pinza de la goma fuera de la punta del aparato.
2. Coloque una goma nueva en la pinza.
3. Inserte la pinza de la goma en la punta del aparato.
OPERACIÓN
Mientras borra mantenga pulsado el botón on-off.
LIMPIEZA Y CUIDADO
Pase un paño seco para limpiar el aparato.
¡Atención! Para limpiar las piezas de plástico no utilice bajo ninguna circunstancia alcohol,
acetona, bencina, detergentes agresivos etc. No use ningún cepillo duro ni ningún objeto
metálico.

Precauciones:
NO sumerja la unidad principal en el agua durante la limpieza.
NO utilice disolventes, como alcohol, bencina o diluyentes para limpiar la unidad.
Nunca introduzca la mano o el dedo en la abertura del lápiz o de la bandeja del
contenedor.
- Vacíe siempre las virutas de lápiz cuando el contenedor esté casi medio lleno.
- Cuando se extrae el contenedor, no toque la cuchilla.
- No trate de afilar los lápices mientras que la cubierta del contenedor esté abierta.
- Si el contenedor se rompe, deshágase de toda la unidad.
GARANTÍA

aparato no funcionase correctamente, le rogamos tenga en cuenta lo siguiente:
En caso de uso adecuado, el periodo de garantía será de 24 meses a partir de la fecha de
compra,. Le rogamos conserve el comprobante de compra y el embalaje original. La prestación de
garantía sólo cubrirá los defectos en el material o de fabricación, pero no los daños en partes
frágiles, p.ej., en la carcasa. Los aparatos que resulten dañados por agentes externos debido a su
uso inadecuado quedarán excluidos de un posible cambio. La garantía caducará si se llevan a
cabo reparaciones sin la autorización expresa de nuestro servicio de atención al cliente.
Las reparaciones por garantía sólo pueden tener lugar sobre la base del comprobante de compra
adjunto - ¡Se ruega soliciten telefónicamente cada devolución! Solamente pueden aceptarse
