1.0 Introduction
This manual is made and designed in order to facilitate
the best and most secure interaction with the product.
The manual is relevant for people involved in transpor-
tation, stocking, installation, using, maintaining and all
other thinkable interaction with the product.
The manual must be read in full and understood before
interacting with the product.
When the manual has been read and understood in full,
the table of contents can be used to find the relevant
information in each case.

This manual is to be used for all interactions with the
product including: Transportation, stocking, installation,
operation and maintenance.
This product is marked with:
2.0 Safety
2.1 General safety
Carefully read this manual before use of the system and
observe the safety instructions in order to avoid injuries!
Keep this manual in a safe place!
Secure that all users of the product have read this ma-
nual and that they follow the instruction in this manual.
Observe all instructions marked on the product!
Observe the indications of the manufacturer.
Never use the product if you are in doubt about how it
works or what you should do.
The unit is mainly to be used for the extraction of dry
dusts and fumes.
Do not use the unit for extraction of explosive gasses or
in explosive zones.
Do not use the unit for extraction of substances under
fire, or flamable substances like textiles, paper, oil, oil
mist, sprays or the like.
Do not use the product for extraction of aggresive subs-
tances or fluids of any kind.
Do not use the product for extraction of organic subs-
tances.
Only use the product with the electrical current stated on
the product.
Be sure that the holes on the outlet on the back of the
product is not covered.
The unit must be equipped with an extraction arm.
Protect the cable and connector from heat, moist, oil and
sharp edges.

Maintenance and the exchange of filter media must be
done by following the instructions in chapter 7.0
The electrical wire must be replaced immediately
if damaged.
This must be done by an authorized electrician.
Do not modify the product or use spare parts from other
suppliers than Geovent, as this may hamper the product
and the function.
2.2 Danger
You must wear safety gloves when handling or using the
product to protect your hands from scratches etc.
Be aware that the product may tilt when you move it.
You must handle the product with care and tie it safely to
the truck or the fork lift when it is in transport.
Always make sure that the device is in a safe position
and that the brakes of the swivel caster wheels are on.
While opening, cleaning and maintaining the unit or
while changing parts, disconnect the unit from the mains
supply and secure it from being restarted.
In case of an accident or a fire:
Call for help. Disconnect the product from the mains
supply.
Follow the normal and local requirements in case of an
accident or a fire.
In case of problems:
Disconnect the product from the mains supply.
Inspect the product to see if a repair is possible.
If a repair is not possible you should dispose of the pro-
duct. Please follow the instruction for disposal in chapter
8.0.
3.0 Machine overview
3.1 Description
The product GeoGo is a mobile filter unit to be used for
extraction of welding fumes, and dry dust.
GeoGo can be delivered with an extraction arm of your
choice.
3.2 Intended use
Intented use

The product GeoGo is a mobile filter unit to be used for
extraction of welding fumes and dry dust.

The extraction arm must be installed before turning the
product on.
Do not use the unit for extraction of explosive gasses or
in explosive zones.
Do not use the unit for extraction of substances under

stances or fluids of any kind.
Do not use the product for extraction of organic substan-

Be sure that the holes on the outlet on the back of the

The polluted air is taken in by the suction hood and en-
ters into the unit. The operator can adjust the hood of the
extraction arm to any position within its reach.
The air is filtered through a pre mesh filter and a main
V-bank filter with a separation efficiency of more than
95%.
The cleaned air is returned to the working space via the
outlet grid at the back of the unit.
3.3 Machine specifications
3.3.1 Design
Housing: Stable housing of steel with an epoxy coating.
Wheels: 2 large rubber wheels and 2 smaller turnable
wheels with brake.
Filter media: Pre-filter of alu mesh. V-bank F9 or H13
Filter with a separation efficiency of more than 95% and
99% respectively.
Arm: The extractions arms available are: WING-Arm,
ASA-4-Arm or ESA-Arm.

4.0 Transport, handling and storage
During transport in a truck or in another means of trans-
portation the product must be securely packed in a box
or a pallet and covered with a water proff material.
The product must be securely stowed in the truck so that
it will neither tilt nor shift during transport.
During transport over a short distance e.g. in a stock or
a factory, the product can be moved by using the handle
for pushing or pulling.
It can also be moved by means of a forklift or a stabeler.
When moved it must be secured that the product does
not tilt or shift. And it must be secured that the limitations
of the means of transportation is not exceeded.
Secure that there are no people around the product,
when the product is moved.
The product must be placed in a dry place and covered
securely, in order to secure that moist, metal parts or
other substances do not damage the product.
It is not allowed to place anything on top of the product.
5.0 Assembly, installaton and start of
operation
5.1 Location
The product is a mobile unit which can be moved from
one place to the other.
The product is designed to be used inside a dry and he-
ated building.
We do not recommend placing the filter outside, as it
may cause condensation, and some of the electronic
components may cease to function at temperatures be-
low -10°C.
5.2 Assembly
1. Mount the arm on the top of the filter unit
2. Use the supplied botls and washers to mount the arm.
Use the bolt covers!
Attention!
The alarm sounds when the suction performance is in-
sufficient.
If the alarm sounds the filters must be replaced. (Please
see chapter 7.2)
5.3 Control and test of the security systems
Unpacking the product
The product is delivered in separate parts in more pac-
kages. The parts must be assembled before use.
The use of a extraction arm
The arm is fixed to the product with the help of the sup-
plied rotary flange, screws, and washers to the connec-
tion opening. The rotary flange, screws and washers are
delivered together with the product.
Connecting the device
Connect the device to the mains supply.
Explanation of the control elements

The unit should be inspected by an authorized servicete-
chnician at least once a year.
7.3 Exchange of filter elements
The filter element must be changed when it is blocked.
The time before it gets blocked depends on which kind
of application it has been used for.
Attention!
All filter elements are non-returnable filters. All kinds of
manual cleaning can destroy the filter. Pollutants may
penetrate into the ambient air and can endanger your
health.
Only replace the filters in sufficiently ventilated rooms
and with an appropriate respiration protection.
Only use original filter elements from Geovent A/S.
• Switch off the unit at the main switch (pos. 1) Prevent
the unit from being accidentally restarted by disconne-
cting the mains plug from the socket.

If the alarm sounds the filters must be replaced.
6.0 Installation
Place the product on an even and safe surface. Activate
the breaks of the turnable wheels.
Place the extraction arm in a position which suits the
intented purpose of the product.
Turn the product on. Be sure that the correct mains cur-
rent is used, and that the filter elements and the arm are
proberly installed.
Be sure that the product extracts the fumes etc. which it
is intented for.
7.0 Control, test and maintenance
7.1 Control
Before using the product you must be sure that it
functions proberly.
Check that there is no unforseen shaking or noise
coming from the product.
Be sure that the the door is closed, and that the product
is tight.
Be sure that the product extracts the fumes etc. which it
is intented for.
7.2 Maintenance
Pull the mains plug for all kinds of maintenance tasks.
Periodic maintenance
• If the arm cannot stay in position e.g. if it moves from
the desired position, you will need to adjust the joints
• Inspect the state of the hose and friction discs. Replace
these if necessary. Contact your dealer for spare parts.

8.0 Cleaning
The outside of the product is cleaned by means of a
vacuum cleaner or a damp cloth.
REMARK: Do not clean the product during operation.
Turn the product off before cleaning.
When the alarm sounds you must change the filter ele-
ments.
When you open the door of the product, you must wear
protection gloves, eye protection and a suit covering
your body.
9.0 Troubleshooting

10.0 Dismantling, disabling and scrapping
When you dispose of the product you should dismantle
the filter elements as described in chapter 7.2.
It is very important that the instructions of this ma-
nual is followed in order to avoid contamination of
people and the environment!
The inside of the product must be cleaned by means of
a vacuum cleaner with a filter which suits the purpose.
Dismantle the electronics, wires and cables and put the-
se into a suitable bag. Afterwards dispose of it according
to local regulations.
Dismantle the metallic parts by unscrewing screws and
bolts. Afterwards cut the larger pieces into smaller pie-
ces and dispose of it according to local regulation.
BEWARE of sharp edges of the metallic parts which
could harm persons etc.
11.0 Documents and drawings
See chapter 3.3
12.0 Liability
Warranty
Geovent A/S grants a warranty for products, which are
defective, when it can be proved that the defects are due
to poor manufacture or materials on the part of Geovent.
The warranty comprises remedial action (reparation or
exchange) until one year after the date of shipment.
No claims can be made against Geovent A/S in relation
to loss of earnings or consequential loss as a result of
defects on products from Geovent.
Wear on parts such as filter cartridges and hose is not
included in the warranty.
User liability
In order for Geovent to be capable of granting the decla-
red warranty, the user/fitter must follow this instruction
manual in all respects.
Under no circumstances may the products be changed
in any way, without prior written agreement with Geo-
vent A/S.
