Important Notice
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the followings:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or
operated near children.
3. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after
the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner.
Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for
examination and repair.
4. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
5. When connecting the appliance, always hold the plug, but not the cord,
and attach to the appliance first, and then plug into the wall outlet. To
disconnect,remove the plug from the wall outlet first, in the same manner.
6. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
7. Do not overfill the tank.
8. Do not operate the appliance on a wet surface.
9. Connect the appliance only to the properly wired wall outlet. Always
unplug from outlet when not in use.
10. Handle power cord carefully. Do not bend or pull on the power cord. Do
not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
11. The temperature of the outer surface may be high when the appliance is
operating. DO NOT TOUCH HOT SURFACES.
12. Do not use the appliance in the outdoors.
13. Keep the appliance away from other heat sources such as gas or electric
stoves, ovens and burners.
14. To protect against fire or electric shock, do not immerse the power cord,
plug or the appliance in water or other liquid. This may cause personal
injury or damage to the appliance.
15. Do not use abrasive cleaner when cleaning the appliance.
16. Do not tilt or knock the appliance. The hot water may spill out from the
water spout and steam vent, causing scalds or personal injury.
17. Do not put ice, soup, milk tea or other substances except water into the
water tank. Tea bags/leaves or other foreign objects may obstruct the
internal electrical pump and cause the appliance to malfunction.
