Warnings & Safety Precautions Product Structure
1. Read all instructions before using.
2. Before connecting the kettle to the power supply, check that the voltage indicated on the
appliance (underside the kettle & base) corresponds with the voltage in your home. If this is not
the case, contact your dealer and do not use the kettle.
3. Do not let the cord hang over edge of table counter or touch hot surface.
4. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
5. DO NOT let the kettle boil dry, this may damage the heating element.
6. Should you accidentally allow the kettle to operate without water, unplug from the power source
immediately, and let the kettle cool down for 15 minutes before relling with cold water.
7. Ensure that kettle is used on a rm and at surface where the children can’t touch, this can
prevent from overturning the kettle to damage the person or kettle.
8. To protect against a re, electric shock or personal injury, do not immerse cord, electric plugs or
kettle in water or other liquids.
9. While boiling water, avoid to contacting steam from the spout when water is boiling or just after it
has switched off. Do not be anxious to uncover the lid to avoid being scalded by the hot water.
10. The power switch must be reset before each use.
11. Always take care to pour boiling water slowly and carefully without tipping the kettle too fast.
12. Be careful when opening the lid for relling when the kettle is hot.
13. DO NOT let children near the kettle when it is in operation. Do not let children pull on the power
cord or touch the kettle to avoid getting scalded.
14. This appliance should not be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge (including children) unless they are supervised
or have been given instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved.
15. Close supervision is necessary when the product is used by or near children. Do not let the
children play with it.
16. This product is only intended for boiling water. DO NOT use it for brewing coffee, tea, alcohol or
chemicals.
17. Do not touch the hot surface to avoid scalding. Use the handle or the button.
18. DO NOT ip the switch by force when the kettle is boiling, this may damage the steam switch.
19. Do not move the unit while the kettle is switched on.
20. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot water.
21. DO NOT let children operate this product, and keep close supervision of children when the
product is in use, in order to prevent scalding accidents.
22. The use of attachments that are not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in
re, electric shock or personal injury.
23. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning; allow it to cool before putting on or
taking off parts and before cleaning the appliance.
24. Always ensure the lid is closed and do not lift it while the water is boiling. Scalding may occur if
the lid is removed during the brewing cycles.
25. If the kettle is overlled, boiling water may be ejected and may cause scalds.
26. This appliance has been incorporated with a grounded plug. Please ensure the wall outlet in your
house is well earthed.
27. If the supply cord, plug or other parts are damaged, stop using the product immediately and have
it replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualied person in order to avoid
a hazard.
28. Do not use the kettle outdoors.
29. Save these instructions for future reference.
30. The kettle is only to be used with the stand provided.

Operation Instructions
Before Initial Use
It is recommended that you do the following steps to clean your kettle when using the kettle for the rst
time:
1. Boil a full kettle of water (ll to the MAX mark).
2. Pour away the water.
3. Repeat the above procedure twice.
Operation Procedure
1. Remove the glass kettle from the power base and open the lid by pressing the Lid Lock Release
Button, ll with the desired amount of water and close the lid.
NOTE:
• Always ll the kettle between the minimum (0.5L) and maximum (1.7L) marks.
• Boiling water below the minimum mark can lead to the kettle drying out.
• Boiling water above the maximum mark can lead to boiling water spraying out from the spout.
• Make sure the lid is completely closed before connecting the power cord to the outlet.
2. Place the glass kettle properly onto the power base, then connect the power cord to the outlet.
3. Turn on the switch, the indicator light lights up and water will start to boil. When water reaches
boiling point, the kettle will automatically turn off power, and indicator light turns off.
NOTE:
Ensure that the switch is clear of obstructions and the lid is rmly closed. The kettle will not turn off if
the switch is constrained or if the lid is left open.
4. Lift the kettle from the power base and carefully pour the water into your cup or other containers.
WARNING!
Be careful when pouring the water from your kettle as boiling water may result in scalds, and DO NOT
open the lid while the water in the kettle is still hot.
5. The kettle can be placed on the power base when not in use, but MUST cut off the power supply.
If the kettle is accidentally turned on when there is no water it, the Boil-Dry Protection function
will activate and automatically turn off the kettle. Should this occur, user MUST allow the kettle to
cool down before re-lling it with water.
WARNING!
Disconnect the product from the power source and let the kettle cool down completely before
cleaning. DO NOT clean the kettle and the base with water and do not immerse them in water to
avoid electrical shock.
• Clean the product with a slightly damp lint-free cloth. DO NOT use toxic cleansers to clean the
product.
• DO NOT use chemical, metal, wooden or abrasive materials to clean the product.
• Take out the lter and clean with a damp soft cloth regularly. To take out the lter, pull it upwards
and outwards. Reinsert properly after cleaning.
Descaling
Tap water or water that is not distilled may cause lime deposits to build up on the bottom of the glass
kettle. Please use descaling agent and neutral cleansers to clean the kettle:
1. Fill the kettle with vinegar and water, and let it soak overnight.
2. Pour out the water, and wipe with a damp cloth.
3. Pour clean water into the kettle, let to boil then discard the water. Repeat this procedure one more
time, then the kettle is ready for use.
Cleaning and Maintenance

Please remember to respect your local regulations, and recycle non-working electrical
equipments to an appropriate waste disposal center.

1. 使用本產品前，請詳細閱讀使用說明書。
2. 接通電源前，請先檢查本產品所標識的電壓是否與您家中的電壓相符。若不相符，請不要使用

3. 電源線不可懸掛在桌子邊緣或者接觸高溫表面，以防損壞電源線。

11. 倒開水時，要小心、緩慢，不能倒得太快，以免開水濺出燙傷人。
12. 在水壺沒有冷卻下來，需要重新灌水時，打開壺蓋時要小心。
13. 使用時，不要讓兒童靠近產品拉扯電源線或敲碰水壺，以免被開水燙傷。
14. 本產品不應由存在肢體、感官或精神能力缺陷或缺少使用經驗知識的人（包括兒童）使用，除
非有負責他們安全的人對他們進行與器具使用有關的監督或指導。
15. 應照看好兒童，確保他們不玩耍本產品。
16. 本產品僅用於煮水，切不可用來裝咖啡、茶、酒精或化學物品。
17. 不要接觸高溫表面，以免被燙傷；但手柄、開關按鈕是安全的。
18. 水煮開後，不可強制性打開開關，以免損壞蒸氣跳掣。

使用說明
初次使用
在初次使用本產品時，建議使用前先把水壺清潔乾淨，方法如下：
1.將水壺注水至最高水位線。
2.煮開後把水全部倒掉。
3.重複以上步驟兩次即可。
使用步驟
1.將水壺從底座上取下，按壺蓋開關按鈕把壺蓋打開，注水至壺內，然後合上壺蓋。
注意：
．注入水量必須在低於最高水位線和高於最低水位線。
．如果水量低於最低水位線，煲水時，水容易被煲乾。
．如果水量高於最高水位線，煲水時，水可能會從壺嘴噴出。
．接通電源前，必須確保壺蓋完全合上。
2.將水壺放置於底座上，然後接通電源。
3.按下開關掣，指示燈亮起，即開始煲水。當水煲至沸騰後，會自動切斷電源，指示燈熄滅。
注意：
必須確保開關掣沒有受外物阻礙，及確保壺蓋完全合上，否則水沸騰後不會自動切斷電源。
4.把水壺從底座上提起，然後可以倒水至水杯或其他容器內。
警告！
倒熱水時必須小心操作，水壺內有熱水時請勿打開壺蓋，以免燙傷。
5.水壺不用時，可放置在底座上，但必須關掉電源。如果意外地讓水壺在無水情況下運作，乾燒
保護會自動切斷電源。如出現這種情況，必須先待水壺冷卻後再使用。
清潔與保養
警告！
清潔前必須先把插頭從底座拔除，不可把水壺或底座浸入水中或弄濕，以防出現漏電現象。
• 以濕軟布清潔水壺表面，請勿使用有毒的清潔劑清洗。
• 請勿使用化學品、鐵質物、木屑或其它研磨劑來清洗。
• 過濾網要定期拆下用濕軟布進行清洗。拆下時將濾網向上拉出，清洗乾淨後再插回相應的槽內
即可。
清除沉澱物
自來水或非蒸餾水中的礦物質可能會沉積在水壺底部形成污垢，請使用除垢劑及無害的清潔劑來清
洗：
1.在水壺裡加白醋和水，浸泡一晚。
2.將水壺中的液體倒掉，以濕布把擦拭水壺。
3.注純淨水至壺內，煲開後將水倒掉。再重複一次後，水壺即可使用。
注意環保！
請遵守當地法例，將廢棄的電器產品和設備投入合適的廢物回收站。

Under normal operations, the product will gurantee a 1-year full
warranty provided by German Pool (effective from the date of
purchase).
1. Customer who fails to present original purchase invoice will
not beeligible for free warranty service.
2. Customer should always follow the operating
instructions. Thiswarrantydoes not apply to:
- labour costs for on-site installation, check-up, repair,
replacement of parts and other transportation costs;
- damages caused by accidents of any kind (including
material transfer and others);
- operating failures resulting from applying incorrect voltage,
improperusage, and unauthorized installations
or repairs.
3. Thiswarranty is invalid if:
- the purchase invoice is modified by an unauthorized party;
- the product is used for anycommercial or industrial purposes;
- the product is repaired or modifiedby unauthorized
personnel, orunauthorizedparts are installed;
- the serial number is modified, damagedor removed from
the product.
4. German Poolwill, at its discretion, repair or replace any
defective part.
5. Thiswarranty will be void if there is any transfer of
ownership from the original purchaser.
