1. Insert the Battery
2. Set Unit (Available On Conversion Switch Model)
Select between gram and pound ounce unit with the unit
conversion button at the back of the product.
3. Set the Right Position
 
4. Start-up the Scale
The scale must be initialized after each battery insertion or
replacement. Press lightly on the scale platform to start-up
the scale, the display shows “0000”, and then turns off.
The scale is ready for use.
5. Weighing Operation
- Press and hold [ ] button for 1 second to turn the
scale on (Fig.1). The display shows “---” while holding the
button, then returns to zero after releasing the button.
The scale is ready for use.
- Place ingredient (>/=30g) directly on the platform, the
weight will be displayed.
6. Weighing Operation Using Tare Function
The kitchen scale allows you to add consecutive
ingredient(s) to the container or platform yet weigh each
item individually.
1. After start-up the scale, place item on the platform,
the weight will be displayed.
2. Press [ ] button to tare the weight, the display
shows “ ” and then returns to zero.
3. Add the next item, the display shows the weight of the
next item only.
4. Continue the same way for all the successive items.
5. After you press the [ ] button and remove the last
item, the scale will display a negative weight value
corresponding to the weight of all removed items.
Press [ ] again to reset to zero.
Note: The total weight of all tare and add-on items must
be smaller than the maximum capacity.
7. To Turn Off the Scale
- Press and hold [ ] button for around 2 seconds to
turn the scale off.

- Replace the batteries when “ ” is displayed. Measuring in low battery may cause inaccurate result and malfunction.

unit for a prolonged period of time, it is advisable to remove
the batteries before storage.
Open the battery cover on the back of the scale. Remove
any plastic strip before first use or insert new batteries for

battery; it contains no user serviceable parts. Damage
to the scale may occur as a result of improper handling.

prolonged period of time.

Warranty Terms & Conditions
Under normal operations, the product will receive a 1-year full
warranty provided by German Pool (effective starting from the
date of purchase).
1. Customer who fails to present original purchase invoice
will be disqualified for free warranty.
2. Customer should always follow the operating
instructions. This warranty does not apply to:
- labour costs for on-site installation, check-up, repair,
replacement of parts and other transportation costs;
- damages caused by accidents of any kind (including
transport and others);
- plastic parts and accessories;
- operating failures resulted from incorrect voltage,
improper operations and unauthorized installations
or repairs.
3. This warranty is invalid if:
- purchase invoice is modified by unauthorized party;
- product is used for any commercial or industrial applications;
- product is repaired or modified by unauthorized
personnel, or unauthorized parts are installed;
- serial number is modified, damaged or removed from
the product.
4. German Pool will, in its discretion, repair or replace any
defective part.
5. This warranty will be void if there is any transfer of
ownership from the original purchaser.
