Safety information
• The instantaneous water heater must only be
connected and started up by an authorized
technician.
• Thestatutoryregulationsoftherespectivecountry,as
wellasthoseofthelocalelectricityandwatersuppliers
mustbeadheredto.
• Theinstantaneouswaterheaterisanapplianceof
protectionclassIandmustbeconnectedtothe
protectiveearthconductor.
• Theunitmustbedurablyconnectedtopermanently
installedlines.
• Inordertomeetthecurrentsafetyrequirements,an
all-poledisconnectingdevicemustbepresentonthe
installationside.Thecontactgapmustbeatleast3mm.
• Theinstantaneouswaterheaterissuitableforenclosed
(pressurized)operationonly.
• Thetapfittingsmustbepermittedforoperationwith
enclosed(pressurized)continuous-flowheaters.
• Theinstantaneouswaterheatermustonlybeconnected
toacold-waterpipe.
• Theinstantaneouswaterheaterissuitableforconnection
toDVGW-testedplasticpipes.
• Theinstantaneouswaterheatermustonlybeinstalledin
afrost-freeroom.
• Prior to installation, the electric connecting cord
must be disconnected from the mains voltage and
the water supply cut off!
• Onlyconnecttheelectricsupplyafterthewatersupply.
• Whenmakingholesintherearwall,onlymakethe
numberofholesrequiredforinstallation.Iftheappliance
isreinstalled,anyholesthatarenotusedmustbemade
watertight.
• Livecomponentsmustnotbetouchedsubsequentto
installation.
• Thisappliancemustnotbeusedbyanyperson(including
children)withlimitedphysical,sensorialormental
abilitiesorfailingexperienceand/orknowledgeunless
theyaresupervisedbyapersonresponsiblefortheir
safetyorreceivedinstructionsabouthowtousethe
appliance.Childrenshouldbesupervisedinorderto
makesurethattheydonotplaywiththeappliance.
Assembly
I. Unpacking / removing the housing cover
• Unpacktheapplianceandcheckfortransportation
damage.
• Disposeofthepackagingand,whereapplicable,theold
appliance,inanenvironmentallyconsciousmanner.

III. Wall-mounted assembly
• Theinstantaneouswaterheatermustbefittedsecurely
tothewall.Ifrequired,securetheapplianceusingthe
loweradjustingscrews.
• Thedistancefromthewallisvariable.Thisallowsyouto
compensateforanyunevennessinthewallsurface.
• Thesleevemustfittightlyroundtheconnectioncable.If
thesleeveisdamagedduringinstallation,theholesmust
besealedwater-tight.
IV. Water supply
• Theflow-throughheatermustbevented.Openthewarm
watertapcompletelyandallowtoflowthroughforone
minute.
V. Electric supply
• Themainsconnectionterminalcaneitherbemounted
aboveorbelow.Atleast40mmoftheconnectingcord’s
insulatingjacketmustbeclampedinsidetheappliance.
VI. Startup
• Atlowwaterpipepressure,checkwhethertheMAX
settingswitchesonevenwhenwaterisdrawnfrom
severalcold-watertapssimultaneously.Ifnot,remove
theflowlimiter(refertoadditionalinformationA).
• Instructtheuserwithregardtotheoperationofthe
continuous-flowheater.
• Separatetherequiredlanguageversionfromtherest
oftheoperatinginstructions.Thiscanbekeptinthe
swingoutcontrolpanelofthecontinuous-flowheater.

• Ifthewaterpressureoftheinteriorsystemislow,donot
operatetheinstantaneouswaterheateratfullpower,
butremovetheflowlimite(Fig.A).
• Prioritycircuitforthecombinedoperationofelectric
