Der FlammEx Gasmelder alarmiert Sie bei Austritt von Methan (CH4) = Erdgas,
Propan (C3H8) und Butan (C4H10) = Flaschengas.
Große Gefahr: Wenn die oben genannten Gase austreten und sich mit
Sauerstoff vermischen, entsteht ein leicht entzündliches
Gasgemisch. Schon der kleinste Funke kann
zur Explosion führen.
Anwendung: Haus, Wohnung, Wohnwagen-/Mobile, Segel-/ oder

Die GEV-Garantie beträgt 5 Jahre ab Kauf des Gerätes durch den
Endverbraucher. Die GEV-Garantie kann nur gewährt werden, wenn
das unveränderte Gerät mit Kassenbon, Garantiekarte (mit Kauf-
datum und Händlerstempel), ausreichend frankiert und verpackt an
GEV eingesandt wird. Fügen Sie bitte dem reklamierten Gerät eine
kurze schriftliche Fehlerbeschreibung bei.
Bei berechtigten Garantieanspruch wird GEV nach seiner Wahl in
angemessener Zeit das Gerät ausbessern oder austauschen. Sollte
der Garantieanspruch nicht gerechtfertigt sein (z. B. nach Ablauf
der Garantiezeit, Mängel außerhalb des Garantieanspruches), so
wird GEV versuchen, das Gerät kostengünstig zu reparieren.
Die Garantiehaftung bezieht sich nicht auf natürliche Abnutzung,
Veränderung durch Umwelteinflüsse oder Transportschäden sowie
nicht auf Schäden, die infolge Nichbeachtung der Montageanleitung,
der Wartungsanweisung und nicht ordnungsgemäßer Installation
entstanden. Mitgelieferte Batterien sind von der Garantie ausge-
schlossen. GEV haftet nicht für indirekte-, Folge- und Vermögens-
schäden.

Möglicher Falschalarm:
Das Warnsystem ist seinem Zweck entsprechend und zu Ihrer
Sicherheit, sehr empfindlich eingestellt. Der Sensor des Systems
spricht deshalb auch auf andere gasförmige Medien an. Der
Gebrauch von Arrosolen (Treibgas in Sprays für Haare, Desinfektion,
usw.) aber auch starker Qualm (rauchende Skatrunde), und Küchen-
dunst kann zu Falschalarm führen.
Verhalten im Alarmfall!

GEV products have been tested to comply with the applicable regu-
lations and they have been manufactured with great care.
The GEV guarantee runs for 5 years after purchase of the equipment by
the end consumer. The GEV guarantee can only be upheld if the
unmodified equipment is returned to GEV together with the receipt
and guarantee card (with date of purchase and dealer's stamp),
after it has been packed and adequately stamped. Please include a
brief, written description of the defect with the equipment being
complained about.
If the guarantee claim is authorized, then GEV will choose to either
repair the equipment within a reasonable period or to exchange it.
If the guarantee claim is unjustified (e.g., made after expiry of the
guarantee period, or the defect is not covered by the guarantee
claim), then GEV will try to repair the equipment economically.
The guarantee liability does not refer to natural wear and tear, alteration
by environmental influences or damage caused by transportation;
nor to damage which has occurred as a result of non-compliance
with the mounting instructions, the maintenance instructions or
improper installation. The supplied batteries are excluded from the
guarantee. GEV is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, nor
for damage to property.
Please send the defective equipment with adequate postage to you
dealer or to the responsible service centre (address obtainable from
your dealer).

Possible false alarm:
The warning system is appropriately set very sensitively for its pur-
pose and for your safty. The system´s sensor therefore responds to
other gaseous media too. The use of aerosols (propellant in sprays
for hair, disinfection, etc.,) but also stronger smoke (a group of peo-
ple smoking while playing cards) and kitchen dust can lead to a false
alarm.

Les products GEV ont été fabriqués avec le plus grand soin et ont
été testes conformément aux prescriptions en vigueur.
La garantie GEV est de 5 ans à partier de la date d’achat de l’appareil
par le consommateur final. La garantie GEV ne peut être octroyée
qu’á condition que l’àppareil non modifié soit expédié avec le bon
de caisse, la carte de garantie (avec date d’achat et tampon du
revendeur), suffisamment affranchi et correctement emballé au
revendeur ou à l’antenne SAV compétente. Veuillez joindre une brève
description détaillée du défaut.
Si la demande de droit de garantie est justifiée. GEV optera au
choix soit pour une réparation soit pour un echange dans un délai
convenable. Au cas ou la demande de droit de garantie ne serait pas
justifiée (p. ex. si la date de garantie est dépassée, si les vices
dépassent le cadre de la garantie), la GEV tentera de réparer
l’appareil à un prix convenable.
Le droit de garantie ne couvre pas l’usure naturelle, les alterations
dues aux influences de l’environnement ou les dommages de transport
de méme que pas les dommages qui seraient dus à la non-observation
des instructions de montage, des instructions de maintenance et à
une installation pas correctement réalisée. Les piles fournies sont
exclues du droit de garantie GEV décline toute responsabilité en
cas de dommages indirects, consécutifs et matériels.
L’appareil défectueux devra être expédié directement au revendeur
ou à l’antenne SAV compétente (demander l’adresse auprès de
votre revendeur) sous emballage suffisamment affranchi.

En cas de fausse alerte :
Le réglage du système d’alarme est doté d’une extrême précision
afin de vous apporter un maximum de sécurité. La sonde du système
réagit donc aussi à d’autres gaz. L’utilisation d’aérosols (gaz propul-
seurs contenus dans les aérosols pour cheveux, désinfectants, etc.),
comme un excès de fumée (groupe de joueurs de cartes fumant
beaucoup) ou des vapeurs de cuisine peuvent déclencher une fausse
alerte.

Mogelijk vals alarm:
Het waarschuwingssysteem is overeenkomstig het doel ervan en
voor uw veiligheid zeer gevoelig ingesteld. De sensor van het systeem
reageert daarom ook op andere gasvormige media. Het gebruik van
aërosolen (drijfgas in sprays voor haren, desinfectie enz.) maar ook
hevige walm (rokende kaarters) en damp uit de keuken kan een vals
alarm veroorzaken.
Wat te doen in geval van
een alarm!

GEV producten zijn getest volgens de geldende voorschriften en
met de grootste zorgvuldigheid vervaardigd.
De GEV-garantie bedraagt 5 jaar vanaf de aankoop van het apparaat
door de eindconsument. De GEV-garantie kan alleen worden verleend
als het ongewijzigde apparaat met kassabon, garantiekaart (met
koopdatum en stempel van de handelaar) voldoende gefrankeerd
en verpakt aan GEV wordt toegezonden. Voeg bij het apparaat
a.u.b. een korte schriftelijke beschrijving van de fout.
Bij terechte garantieclaim zal GEV naar zijn goeddunken het apparaat
binnen redelijke tijd verbeteren of vervangen. Zou de garantieclaim
niet terecht zijn (b.v. na afloop van de garantietijd, gebreken die niet
onder de garantie vallen), dan zal GEV proberen het apparaat op
een goedkope manier te repareren.
De garantie geldt niet voor natuurlijke slijtage, wijziging door invloeden
uit de omgeving of voor transportschade en evenmin voor schade
die ontstaat ten gevolge van het niet in acht nemen van de monta-
gehandleiding, de onderhoudshandleiding of door niet reglementai-
re installatie. Meegeleverde batterijen vallen niet onder de garantie.
GEV is niet aansprakelijk voor indirecte en financiële schade.
Stuur het defecte apparaat a.u.b. gefrankeerd naar uw handelaar of
het geautoriseerde servicecenter (uw handelaar kent het adres).

Il rivelatore di gas FlammEx dà l’allarme in caso di perdite di metano (CH4)

Pericolo elevato: quando i suddetti gas fuoriescono e si mescolano con

immediatamente la causa ed eliminarla
oppure sgombrare l’edificio
• Spalancare porte e finestre
• Evitare fuochi aperti
• Non azionare interruttori elettrici
• Eventualmente fare riparare il punto di
fuoriuscita del gas da un tecnico
Possibilità di falso allarme:
il sistema di avvertimento conformemente al suo scopo e per la Sua
sicurezza, è regolato in modo molto sensibile. Il sensore del sistema
reagisce quindi anche ad altre sostanze gassose. L’uso di aerosol
(gas propellente nella lacca per capelli, negli spray disinfettanti ecc.)
ma anche fumo denso (più persone che fumano) e vapori di cucina,
possono portare ad un falso allarme.

I prodotti GEV sono collaudati secondo le disposizioni vigenti e rea-
lizzati con la massima meticolosità.
La garanzia GEV è di 5 anni a partire dall’acquisto dell’apparecchio
da parte del consumatore finale. La garanzia GEV può essere concessa
solo se l’apparecchio non modificato viene spedito alla GEV con lo
scontrino di cassa, il certificato di garanzia (con data d’acquisto e
timbro del rivenditore), sufficientemente affrancato e imballato. La
preghiamo di allegare all’apparecchio soggetto al reclamo una
breve descrizione scritta del difetto.
In caso di legittimo diritto alla prestazione di garanzia la GEV, a sua
scelta ed in un lasso di tempo adeguato, riparerà o sostituirà
l’apparecchio. Se il diritto alla prestazione di garanzia non fosse
legittimo (p. es. a scadenza del termine di garanzia avvenuta, in
caso di difetti non contemplati dal diritto di garanzia), la GEV
cercherà di riparare l’apparecchio a costi contenuti.
La garanzia non comprende l’usura naturale, il cambiamento causa
influssi ambientali o i danni causati dal trasporto nonché i danni
derivanti dall’inosservanza delle istruzioni per il montaggio, di quelle
per la manutenzione e da un’installazione non regolare. Le batterie
accluse sono escluse dalla garanzia. La GEV non risponde dei
danni indiretti, conseguenti o patrimoniali.
La preghiamo di inviare l’apparecchio difettoso affrancato al Suo
rivenditore oppure al centro assistenza competente (Richieda l’in-
dirizzo al Suo negoziante).
