erfolgen, d.h. die Betriebsspannung darf erstnach vollständiger Montage eingeschaltet
werden.
The wiring of the GCVR 300 Touch T RFID reader modulehave to be carried out in a de-
energised state,i.e. the supply voltage may be switched on only after the complete
assembly.

cavity-wall socket.

Sowohl bei Unterputzdose als auch Hohlraumdose darf der Dosenrand keinesfalls aus der
Wand herausstehen, damit die Wandhalterung plan auf der Wand-bzw. Montagefläche

Generell sollte die Wand- bzw. die Montagefläche, aufder die Wandhalterung befestigt
werden soll, plan undeben sein damit derWandhalter immer flächig aufliegt.

Lesemodul anschließen und einbauen
Installation of the reader module
1. Verdrahtete Anschlussklemme am Lesemodul
einstecken.
2. Lesemodul plan auf die Wandhalterung oder
auf das Aufputzgehäuse aufsetzen, dabei das
Anschlusskabel mit dem Lesemodul in die UP-
Dose oder in das AP-Gehäuse zurückschie-
ben.
3. Das aufgesetze Lesemodul nach unten schie-
ben bis das Lesemodul auf der Wandhalte-
rung oder dem AP-Gehäuse einrastet.
4. Nach dem erfolgreichen Einrasten Verriege-
lungsleiste in das Lesemodul einschieben bis
sie ebenfalls verrastet .
1. Plug the wired connection terminal to the
reader module.
2. Push the connected reader module carefully
into the flash-mounted box or into the
surface-mounted housing so that the reader
module is put on flatly on the wall.
3. Push the reader module downwards until it
snaps into the wall mount or the surface-
mounted housing.
4. After the successful snapping in please push
the locking bar on the readermodule until it
snaps in also.

Disassembling of the reader module
1.
Verriegelungsleiste entriegeln: Dazu Schraubendreher mit Klinge max. 4mm breit in die Entri
e-
gelungsöffnungen einführen und drückenbis die Verriegelung entrastet.
Entriegelte Verriegelungsleiste herausziehen und vom Lesemodul entfernen.
2. Lesemodul nach oben schieben (entrasten) und nach vorne abheben.
1. Unlock the locking bar: Put a max. 4 mmscrew driver into the unlock openings and press until
the locking bar is released. Pull the unlocked locking barout forwards and removeit from the
reader module.
2. Push the reader module upwards (snap out). Pull the reader module out forwards from the wall
mount or the surface frame.
7 Inbetriebnahme

Die erfolgreiche BereitschaftdesSystems wird nach Anschluss der Spannungsversorgung am
GCVR 300 Touch T RFID Leser durch dasdauerhafte gelbe Leuchten der mittleren LED signa-
lisiert.

Reading distance
Die normale Lesedistanz istabhängig vom jeweiligen Lesesystem, vonder Einbauumgebung und von
der Datenträgerausführung. Angaben zu den jeweiligen Lesedistanzen in optimaler Einbauumgebung
(metallfreie Umgebung) entnehmen Sie bitte dem jeweiligen Datenblatt desLesers. Bei direkter Mon-
tage des Lesers auf Metall kann sichdie Lesedistanz geringfügig reduzieren.
The normal reading distance depends on the respective reading system, the installation environment
and the data carrier version. For information on the respective reading distances in an optimal installa-
tion environment(metal-free environment),please refer to the respective data sheetof the reader. If
the reader is mounted directly on metal, the reading distance can be reduced slightly.

Beeinflussung (Verminderung) der Lesedistanz
Influencing (reducing) the reading distance
Eine Beeinflussung der Lesedistanz kann verschiedenste Ursachen haben. Zum einen wird dies durch
das Medium (also den Datenträger) undzum anderen durchdie Umgebungsbedingungen derAntenne
und der Datenträger beeinflusst.
Influencing the reading distance can have various causes. On the one hand,this is influenced by the
medium (i.e. the data carrier) and on the other hand by the environmental conditions of the antenna
and the data carrier.
Nachfolgend eine Auflistung von Punkten welche die Lesedistanz vermindern:

Störbeeinflussung

seitig stören. Energiereiche Störquellen im Bereich der Modulations- und Trägerfrequenzen können
die Übertragung ebenfalls stören. Die Spannungsversorgung der Leser mit Schaltnetzteilen ist nicht zu
empfehlen, da überlagerte Frequenzen auf der Versorgungsspannung das jeweilige Lesesystem eben-
falls negativ beeinflussen können. Dies ist individuell zu prüfen. Zu beachten ist hier, dass sichdas
Störspektrumvon Schaltnetzteilen durch Parameterwie Temperatur,Eingangsspannung, zu liefernder
Strom etc. verändern kann.

Installation of data lines, supply lines
Bei der Versorgung der Leser (insbesondere über größere Distanzen) istauf ausreichendenKabelquer-
schnittzu achten. Da die Stromaufnahme der einzelnen System teilweise pulsförmig erfolgt können
mit einem herkömmlichen Multimeter (digital oder analog) kurzzeitige Spannungseinbrüche nicht de-
tektiert werden. Diese Spannungseinbrüche können jedoch einen "POWER-ON-RESET" an der Leser-
komponente verursachen was ggf. zu Kommunikationsstörungen führen kann
Bei der Dimensionierung der Spannungsversorgung undder Leitungsquerschnitte der Verkabelung ist
also mit der maximalen Stromaufnahme zu rechnen. Es muss unbedingt daraufgeachtetwerden, dass
die Eingangsspannung (gemessen am Leser) den technischen Angaben des Lesers entspricht.

10 Pflegehinweise
10 Care instructions
Gerät bittenicht mit scharfkantigen Gegenständen(Ringen,Fingernägeln usw.) bedienen!
Zum Reinigen keine ätzenden oder Kunststoff zersetzenden Flüssigkeiten wie Benzin, Terpentin, Nitro
usw. verwenden. Scharfe Reinigungsmittel können die Oberfläche beschädigen oder verfärben. Keine
Reinigungsmittel verwenden, die auf mechanischer Basis wirken (z. B. Scheuermilch Scheuer-
schwamm). Reinigung mit weichem, feuchtem Tuch. Nur klares Wasser verwenden.
