Description and Function
This USB hub is made for extending the USB port/s of your computer. Charge and/
or operate only with USB devices. Consider that there are two groups of USB devices:
Self powered = These devices have an own power supply, e.g. printer, scanner…
Bus powered = These devices receive their energy from the USB port, e.g. USB
mouse, USB keyboard, USB Flash drive, USB headsets…
Plug & Play: It is not necessary to install driver software from a CD-ROM.
The USB HUB supports only one bus powered device. All other connected devices
need to be “self powered”. If you like to connect more than one bus powered device,
it is required to connect an external power supply (5 V DC@ 2 A) to the USB hub.
Intended Use
>> Only use in dry ambience.
>> Only use as described in chapter Description and Function.
Preparing
>> Check the packing content by comparing it to the scope of delivery
regarding completeness and integrity.
>> Compare rated voltage, line voltage, mains volatge and frequency of
product and mains.
Installing and Operating
1. >> Connect the outputs with 1 to 4 USB devices via USB cable.
2. >> Connect the input with your computer via USB cable.

>> Connect the enclosed power supply to USB hub and mains socket.
3. >> Disconnect all cable connections after use.

Maintenance, Care, Storage and Transport
• Thedeviceismaintenance-free.
• Alwaysdisconnecttheproductfromthedeviceandunplugthemainsplug,whennotin
 use!
• Useadryandsoftclothtocleanyourproduct.Becarefultoavoidscratches.Usea
 slightlymoistclothforheavystains.Lookoutforlivecables!Donotuseanycleaning
supplies. This can cause burns to the materials. Avoid liquid entry to the device.
•Avoidplaceswithhightemperatures,humidity,orplaceswhichcanbecomewet,also
during maintenance, care, storage, and transport.
• Keeptheproductawayfromchildrenandstoreitatdryanddust-proofplaces!
• Keeptheoriginalpackingfortransportandtoavoiddamages.
Warranty and Liability
• Theproducergrantsa2 years warranty to a new device.
• Asthemanufacturerhasnoinuenceoninstallation,warrantyonlyappliestothe
product itself.
• Ifanyfaultordamageisdetectedonyourdevice,pleasecontactyourdealerandpro-
vide your sales slip or invoice as evidence of the purchase, if necessary. Your dealer
will repair the fault either on site, or send the device to the manufacturer. You make the
work of our technicians considerably easier, describing possible faults in detail – only
then you can be assured that faults, occurring only rarely, will be found and repaired
 withcertainty!
