WARNING
GENERAL SAFETY RULES
WARNING: Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow all instructions
listed below may result in electric shock, re and/or serious personal injury.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Work Area
•Keep your work area clean and well lit. Cluttered benches and dark areas invite
accidents.
•Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence
of ammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite
the dust or fumes.
•Keep bystanders, children, and visitors away while operating a power tool.
Distractions can cause you to lose control.
2. Electrical Safety
•Grounded tools must be plugged into an outlet properly installed and
grounded in accordance with all codes and ordinances. Never remove the
grounding prong or modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs.
Check with a qualied electrician if you are in doubt as to whether the outlet is
properly grounded. If the tools should electrically malfunction or break down,
grounding provides a low resistance path to carry electricity away from the
user.
•Avoid body contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges
and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is
grounded.
•Don’t expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power
tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
•Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord to carry the tools or pull the plug
from an outlet. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.
Replace damaged cords immediately. Damaged cords increase the risk of
electric shock.
•When operating a power tool outside, use an outdoor extension cord marked
“W-A” or “W”. These cords are rated for outdoor use and reduce the risk of
electric shock.

CC-100 1220
4
•Turn unit off and unplug power cord when servicing or leaving unit
unattended.
•When unplugging the cord, grasp the plug body not the cord.
•Do not use charger if damaged.
•Use only a Goodway specied charger.
•Do not handle plug with wet hands.
3. Personal Safety
•Keep this manual or a copy with this unit at all times.
•Check with your doctor before putting any weight on your back.
•Do not make any sudden movements with this unit on your back. Water can
move or slosh around causing one to loose balance and/or hurt themselves.
•Lift the unit onto a bench before strapping to your back. This will make it easier
to strap on.
•Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a
power tool. Do not use tool while tired or under the inuence of drugs, alcohol,
or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result
in serious personal injury. CC-100 01/20/2012 2
•Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Contain long hair. Keep
your hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts. Loose cloths, jewelry,
or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
•Avoid accidental starting. Be sure switch is off before plugging in. Carrying
tools with your nger on the switch or plugging in tools that have the switch on
invites accidents.
•Do no overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. Proper footing
and balance enables better control of the tool in unexpected situations.
•Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protection. Dust mask, non-skid safety
shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection must be used for appropriate conditions.
•Consult Goodway or the chemical manufacturer about mixing or using
unspecied chemicals. Mixing incompatible chemicals can be dangerous and
life threatening.
•If the machine does not operate properly or has been damaged, return to
Goodway for service.
4. Tool Use and Care
•Use clamps or other practical way to secure and support the workpiece to a
stable platform. Holding the work by hand or against your body is unstable and
may lead to loss of control.
•Do not force tool. Use the correct tool for your application. The correct tool will
do the job better and safer at the rate for which it is designed.
•Do not use tool if switch does not turn it on or off. Any tool that cannot be
controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.

CC-100 1220 5
•Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments,
changing accessories, or storing the tool. Such preventative safety measures
reduce the risk of starting the tool accidentally.
•Store idle tools out of reach of children and other untrained persons. Tools are
dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
•Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and any
other condition that may affect the tool’s operation. If damaged, have the tool
serviced before using. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained tools.
•Use only accessories that are recommended by Goodway for your model.
Accessories that may be suitable for one tool may become hazardous when
used on another tool.
•When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects like:
Paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other metal objects that can make a
connection from one terminal to another.
5. Service
•Tool service must be performed only by qualied repair personnel. Service
or maintenance performed by unqualied personnel could result in a risk of
injury.
•When servicing a tool, use only identical replacement parts. Follow instructions
in the Maintenance section of this manual. Use of unauthorized parts or failure
to follow Maintenance instructions may create a risk of electric shock or injury.
•Replace any damaged, missing or worn safety labels. Missing labels can
compromise one’s safety.

CC-100 1220 11
5. Condenser or Evaporator Coil Cleaning:
• Attach Foaming Nozzle to spray gun lance.
• Squeeze the spray gun trigger and apply the foaming water/chemical
solution evenly to coils.
• If possible, let foaming solution cleaner sit for 5 minutes to penetrate
into coils.
• Remove foaming nozzle and attach rinsing nozzle.
• Turn chemical off by depressing the red remote switch. The button should
now be fully out.
• Rinse cleaner from coils with clean water.
Shutting Down
1. The unit can be stored above freezing for short periods of time (less than 1
week) with liquid in the on-board tanks; there is no need to drain them before
storing the unit.
2. Before storing the unit, run clean water through the pump for at least 10
seconds.
3. When done using the CoilPro®, always make sure the Power Switch is in
the “Off” position. This is to maximize battery life and to prevent accidental
discharge from the spray gun. Remember that even if the unit does not seem
to be running, when the Power Switch is on, the pump may discharge if the
spray gun trigger is squeezed.
4. Store spray gun in holster. Remove nozzle if desired.
Best Care: If the unit will be unused for a period of time (more than several days),
even in warm temperatures, we recommend running antifreeze through pump and
hose before storage. Antifreeze greatly reduces the chance of rust, mineral deposits
and other contaminants damaging the pump during storage.
Long Term Storage Preparation
1. To protect the CoilPro® from damage, chemical and/or water should be
drained from the tanks before the unit is placed in long term storage.
2. If the unit is to be stored for an extended period of time in an unheated
location, unit should be winterized with a 75% anti-freeze (ethylene glycol
based) to 25% water mix. Pour the mixture into the tanks and follow the
procedures for Priming the Pump (water with chemical injection operation).
When nished priming the pump, ip the Power Switch to the “Off” position
to fully de-energize the unit, then depress the spray gun trigger to relieve
pressure (into a drain or sink).
