●Do not use water to cool the tip down or it
may cause damage to the heater. Cool it
in the natural air.
●Do not file the tip to clean it or the long-life
tip may be damaged.
●Do not give a hard shock to your soldering
iron. Dropping or hard shock could result
in breakage, cracks or fissures in the
ceramic heater.
●Do not use your soldering iron without the
tip or the heater will be damaged.
●When compared to use with solder containing
lead, tip-life may be shorter when using lead-free
solder.
PX-201
●To prevent serious burns, never
touch the tip, heater barrel and
collar until they cool down.
●To prevent fire, keep the soldering
iron away from the flammable
substances and materials in the
work area.
●Never use your soldering iron if the power
cord is damaged, or fires or electrical shock
may occur.
WARNING
OPERATION
INSTRUCTIONS
●Make sure to use soldering iron stand to prevent fires and/or
burns.( ST-77 soldering iron stand is recommended.)
●Keep children and bystanders away from the soldering iron.
●Connect to the specified power supply. The power voltage for
this soldering iron is indicated on the grip. Never plug the
soldering iron into any other voltage.
●Do not use the soldering iron in damp or wet locations or
expose it to rain, including outside to prevent electrical shock.
●Plug in fully in the outlet after checking that the
current is correct. Unplug when not in use. ( Pull out
the plug when unplugging. Never yank the cord. )
●After use, the tip may still be hot. Allow it to cool
down sufficiently before touching or storing, or burns
or fires may occur.
●It can be covered by the cap and stored 3 minutes after use.
Do not put on the cap while the soldering iron is plugged in.
●Ask the dealer or distributor you purchased it from to do the
tip temperature calibration.
●The tips are pre-tinned in the working area with
solder. Keep the tip tinned. After finishing the
operation and before storing, clean the tip with a heat
resistant sponge moistened with water and tin it. A
tinned tip prevents oxidation of the surface when the
tip is reheated.
●Regularly remove the collar and heater barrel, and
remove any oxidized particles on the tip when the
soldering iron is cool. If you do not, the tip will stick to
the heater.
●Be sure that the collar fixing the soldering tip is
securely tightened prior to use.
MAINTENANCE
NOTE
CAUTION
●Be sure to properly ground the soldering
iron using a ground receptacle to prevent
electrical shocks. If it is not properly
grounded, an electrical shock may occur.
WARNING [ with ground plug
]
After replacing the heater, make sure to cover the connecting part of
the Bushing ASSY and the grounding wire of the power cord using
the insulation tube.

●Set the required temperature by using the temperature setting screw by (-)screw driver.
●The monitor lamp lights when the heater is ON. When the temperature reaches the set temperature, the
lamp will flash.
HOW TO USE
Temperature setting screw label
Do not turn the temperature
setting screw beyond the
scale range or the resistor
will be damaged.
REPLACING THE HEATER (SOLDERING IRON WITH GROUND PLUG)
When replacing the tip, heater barrel, collar,
heater or other parts, be sure to unplug the
soldering iron and allow it to fully cool
down. Failure to follow this will result in
possible electrical shocks, serious burns or
a serious injury.
When doing maintenance use only genuine goot
replacement parts. The use of any other parts may
create a hazard or cause damage to the soldering
iron.
CAUTION
WARNING
●The temperature can be variably set from 250 to 450˚C. The tip temperature can be accurately
controlled by a ceramic heater with integrated sensor.
●Quick heat recovery when doing lead-free soldering is assured with the 70W high power heater.
●The power monitor lamp lights when the heater is ON.
●The ergo-grip reduces hand fatigue during continuous soldering.
●A heat-insulation cap is included. The soldering iron can be stored 3 minutes after unplugging.
