Thismethod isidealforsearing and grilling aswell as
deepfrying inacast-ironpan or stir-frying inasteelwok.

Lowsetting : Mostrecipes specifythelowsetting for
baking,roasting,and grilling delicatefoodssuch as fish,

CAUTION: Infraredcooking timeswillbemuch shorter
than traditionalgrillingso neveroperatethisappliance
unattended.
High setting: TheControl Knob setting shouldonlybe
usedtopre-heat your grill thefirst 3-5minutes, for searing
foodsand forburning food residueoff thegrill for3-5
minutes aftercooking iscomplete.

Beforecooking on yourgas grill forthefirsttime,you
should"burnoff"thegrill toeliminateanyodororforeign
matter. Ignitetheburners,lowertheLid,and operategrill
on setting for3to5minutes.

Burnersliton theoppositeside.Rotatethefood as

thecenterofthegrill withall burnerson LOW.Besure
toadd liquidifusing apantokeepfood moist. Ifhigher

burnerson HIGH withLeft Rear(LR)and RightFront
(RF)burnersonLOWtocreateacrossraycooking
pattern.Eitherway,indirectcooking mustbedonewith

excessivegrease buildup.CleantheGrease Drain-

orsurface. Use yourgrill atleast 3feetaway from
combustibleobjectsthatcanmeltorcatch fire
