Our performance is better than ever. Get the fastest
preheat and cook times in the business. Heats to 350ºF
in just 4 minutes – much faster than a conventional
oven. With fast, even cooking, you can cut preparation
times and increase batch consistency, while saving on
energy costs. No hot or cold spots either. Heat transfers
evenly over the entire cooking surface.
Ergonomic by design
The Eclipse ergonomic tilting braising pan has a
narrow-width footprint that saves on expensive
hood space. With only one control box, all controls
are centrally located and at an angle that ensures
easy viewing and access. Our streamlined, rounded
leg stands look great and are easy to clean, meeting
all NSF requirements. We’ve even made faucets
easier to reach by moving them closer to the front –
and you still have the option of a right-, left-handed,
or rear-mounted faucet. Plus, we’ve kept our famous
easy-to-clean, rounded interiors – no corners to clean.

Even more water resistance
The Eclipse is completely water-resistant, making it
less susceptible to water splashback or spray. The
control box is also water-resistant, protecting the
electric controls – and your investment. We’ve protect-
ed the ignition system and pilot light on gas mod-
els with a shield or baffle. Our thermostat is more
water-resistant. And we’ve even covered the worm
and gear mechanism to protect against water. It all
adds up to the quality you
need to run a clean,
busy kitchen.
Pouring made easier
The Eclipse center tilt design maximizes floor and aisle
space, and optimizes the pour path for customer use,
even with large-capacity batches of food product. It
uses less aisle and floor space, making it easy to navi-
gate the terrain of your kitchen. Pour out pan contents
easily with no mess or waste – every time. The pouring
lip is designed to deliver maximum effectiveness when
pouring food product, especially liquids.

Both 30- and 40-gallon models
Eclipse braising pans are offered in 30- and 40-gallon models that
are perfect for new installations or replacement business. The
30-gallon model has approximately the same width dimensions
as our previous 23-gallon model, and the 40-gallon model has
approximately the same width dimensions as our previous 30-
gallon model. Depth for both 30- and 40-gallon models has
increased slightly, but has proved ergonomically sound.

Precision controls
Precision thermostat regulates temperature for accurate
cooking every time. Dependable electronic ignition. Patented
burner system with high efficiency means lower energy costs. No
warping maintains an even pan surface, with no burning or
sticking for shallow cooking applications.
Smooth tilting action
Our smooth-action, quick-tilting body will never jerk or halt
when tilting the pan. Available in both manual tilt and electric
tilt — electric tilt has an easy-to-access manual override.
Manual tilt has a smooth-action, self-locking hand crank that
provides precise control when pouring. Ten-inch-high pan sides
and cover minimize grease and splatter — especially important
when pouring product during tilting.

Counterbalance cover design
The Eclipse tilting braising pan’s improved,
counterbalanced cover design ensures ease of assembly
and easier cleaning that meets all NSF standards. The
fully adjustable cover will stay put wherever you set it
for ease of operation. The new counterbalanced cover
allows you to control steam venting more easily during
cooking. The adjustable steam vent controls condensate
during cooking. The heavy-duty cover lets you oven cook
all meats, poultry, and seafood. And the counterbalanced
cover has fewer working parts, so you’re assured of
increased durability and higher performance.

A risk-free purchase is ensured by the Groen one-year
warranty on every Eclipse model.
Pan cooking volume to nominal
Eclipse has increased pan cooking volume to nominal
for increased holding capability, while preserving safety
standards. Cook more food product faster in fewer
batches with preserved food quality, texture, and flavor.
Increased flexibility
New bullet feet are field-retrofittable and interchangeable
with our new flanged feet or casters. Four bullet feet
are standard, while our casters and flanged feet are
offered as accessories.

our hinges on the cover for increased durability
and longer life. Easy-to-clean, three-inch rounded
interiors are just part of our streamlined pan design.
