ASSEMBLY & OPERATION
1. Set the desired Torque level (Refer: Setting the Torque).
2. Mount the socket on to the square drive.
3. Tighten the nut by rotating the Torque Wrench in clock
wise direction till the click sound is heard/felt.
SETTING THE TORQUE
1. Press the Safety Button present on the handle and
simultaneously pull down the Ring at the bottom of the
handle.
2. Rotate the Ring to set the Torque. Value of torque can be
easily seen through the convex lens on the handle.
3. Press the Safety Button and simultaneously push back the
adjustment ring to lock the Torque Valve.
4. Do not rotate the adjustment ring below the min. Torque
and above max. Torque level.
5. Torque can be adjusted for fine scale by adjusting the
adjustment ring using markings on the adjustment ring.
WARNING
1. Torque Wrench must not be used as a tightening device.
Tightening a nut can decrease the operating life of Torque
Wrench. It must be used on an already tightened nut.
2. Always use a appropriate size Socket depending on the
size of the nut.
3. Always grip the handle from the centre while operating.
4. Do not multiclick the Torque wrench. Stop the moment
you hear or feel the first click. Multiclicking can damage
the ratchet mechanism inside the Torque wrench.
5. After use, wind your wrench to the lowest setting on the
scale and put it back into the Blow Moulded Case.
6. Do not set the Torque beyond the max. or min. stop
warning shown in the lens.
According to ISO 6789-1 : 2017
A period of 12 months or 5000 cycles, whichever occurs first, may
be taken as default value for the re-caliberation of torque wrench.
The interval starts with the first use of torque wrench.
