OPERATION
1. Set the Aluminium Torque Wrench to the desired torque
by pulling the end of the handle and rotating it clockwise
to increase the torque limit and vice versa to decrease the
torque limit as shown in the figure below.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1. Always store the torque wrench in the box after use to
protect it from dirt and humidity.
2. When storing the torque wrench after use, torque value
should be adjusted to the minimum
3. Never disassemble torque wrench by yourself. Any incorrect
action may result in damage instrument. For repairs, please
take assistance from GROZ authorised service centers/
agents.
4. Regularly calibrate the torque wrench to ensure accuracy and
repeatability.
5. Recalibrate torque wrench after 5000 times usage
6. If the torque wrench is used after an extended interval, then
“pre-press action“ would have to be done i.e. the click action
needs to be done for 20 times before the actual use
7. If the torque wrench is unused for 1-2 years, then the inside
lubricant may be dried according to dierent climatic
conditions in dierent regions. This might aect its torque
accuracy and stability and hence it would have to be re-oiled
and calibrated.
WARNING
1. Do not use the torque wrench for applications exceeding the
maximum torque value of the torque wrench
2. Do not use the torque wrench as a hammer or use a hammer
with this tool.
3. Do not use torque wrench as a general wrench.
4. Do not use a non-original extension along with this torque
wrench. it might result in failure
5. .Do not over torque.
6. The torque wrench is a precision instrument, and should be
stored with care. Don’t throw it around, use hammer with it,
or use it as lever bar.
7. The torque wrench is lubricated for life and should not be
oiled. The only exception is the ratchet head which may be
lubricated as needed for smooth operation.
2. Mount the desire socket on the square drive of the torque
wrench and position it on the fastener to be tightened.
3. Keep applying the torque until you hear a click sound along
with an impulse, which indicates that the fastener is tightened
to the desired torque value.
4. For using extension along with the torque wrench, pull back
the knob of the extension and insert it over the secure knob.
Push it towards the back till it gets fixed into its correct
position.
