2. Introduction
The LT 200 is a unit enabling the use of an analog
4-20 mA pressure transmitter for registration of level
together with Grundfos controllers, types LC, LCD
108 and 110, instead of rod electrodes and float
switches.
The unit has four digital outputs with individual
setpoints and shows the actual level.

3. Installation
Check that the supply voltage and frequency
correspond to the values stated on the nameplate.
Connect the LT 200 as shown below.

Connect a 2-wire pressure transmitter with an output
current of 4-20 mA between terminals Ub and Io. Ub
delivers a nominal output voltage of 24 VDC.

The electrical installation must be carried
out by an authorised person in accordance
with local regulations and the relevant
wiring diagram.

Install an external fuse of 250 mA T as
shown in fig. 1.
Caution
Connect the screen of the cable from the
pressure transmitter via a metal clamp to
the earthed metal back plate of the box
where the LT 200 is to be installed.

3.1 Installation of pressure transmitter
Place the pressure transmitter on the bottom of the
pit.
If the pit is cleaned regularly, we recommend placing
the transmitter in a tube for protection. The
transmitter cable is equipped with strain relief and
two ventilation tubes. The tubes must not be closed
off/obstructed, as the liquid pressure is measured in
relation to the ambient air pressure. Use a junction
box with venting if the cable is to be extended.
3.2 Connections to LC, LCD 108
Connect terminals 1, 2, 3, 4 and G to the
corresponding terminals of the CU 21X or to these
terminals of LC, LCD 108:

3.3 Connections to LC, LCD 110
Connect terminal G to terminal G of the CU 21X or
terminal 98 of the thermal relay in LC, LCD 110. See
wiring diagram.

4. Setting and operation
When the LT 200 is connected to the power supply,
the display normally shows the actual level (metres
head). If no pressure transmitter is connected
(current input measures < 4 mA), the display will
show "---" instead as an indication of wire
breakage/sensor fault.

The five indicator lights have these functions:
4.1 Setting
You can set these parameters to adapt the LT 200 to
the application:
• range of pressure transmitter
• selection of LC, LCD 108 or LC, LCD 110
• four setpoints for activation of the four level
outputs L1 to L4.
Reading of parameters
Press [ ∧] and [ ∨] to see the actual parameter
settings. Flashing yellow indicator lights indicate
which parameter is shown in the display:
If no button is pressed for more than eight seconds,
the display and the yellow indicator lights will return
to normal indication of the actual level.

If the LT 200 is connected to LC or

If the LT 200 is connected to LC or
LCD 110, all outputs are activated,
+5 V.

Changing parameters
1. Press [ ∧] and [ ∨] to select the parameter that is
to be changed.
2. Press [ ●]. The first digit in the display starts
flashing.
3. Change the digit with [ ∧] and [ ∨].
4. Press [ ●] to change the next digit.
5. When no more digits can be changed, the display
will stop flashing, and the parameter has been
changed.

Four digital outputs, +5 V, for connection of CU 21X.

6. Disposal
This product or parts of it must be disposed of in an
environmentally sound way:
1. Use the public or private waste collection service.
2. If this is not possible, contact the nearest
Grundfos company or service workshop.
Subject to alterations.
Note
If you try to change a parameter to an
invalid value, the parameter will return to
its original value when the display stops
flashing.
Note
If no button is pressed for more than eight
seconds during the setting of a parameter,
the parameter will be set to the actual
value shown in the display, and the display
will stop flashing.
Caution
The LT 200 does not check if the individual
setpoints are logical.
L2 can for instance be set to a lower level
than L1 and cause a CU 21X controller to
indicate fault, assuming that the L1 sensor
is defective.

3. Instalace
Zkontrolujte, zda napájecí naptí a frekvence
odpovídají hodnotám uvedeným na typovém štítku.
Modul LT 200 zapojte podle následujícího obrázku.

Do svorek Ub a Io pipojte 2vodiový snímahladiny
s výstupním proudem 4-20 mA. Ub dodává jmenovité
výstupní naptí 24 VDC.

Varování
Elektrické pipojení smí provést pouze
povolaný odborník v souladu s platnými
místními pedpisy a píslušným
schématem zapojení.

3.1 Instalace snímae tlaku
Snímatlaku umístte na dno erpací jímky.
Pokud je erpací jímka pravidelništna,
doporuujeme umístit snímado hadiky, aby byl
chránn. Kabel snímae je vybaven odlehením tahu
a dvma vtracími hadikami. Hadiky nesmí být
uzaveny ani stlaeny, protože tlak kapaliny se mí
vzhledem k okolnímu tlaku vzduchu. Pokud je teba
kabel nastavit, použijte spojovací skíku
s odvzdušnním.
3.2 Pipojení k modulm LC, LCD 108
Pipojte svorky 1, 2, 3, 4 a G k odpovídajícím
svorkám jednotky CU 21X nebo ke svorkám modulu
LC, LCD108:
