Important Safety Instructions
Store this instruction manual in a safe place, along with your warranty card, purchase
receipt and packaging box for future reference. Please pay particular attention to the
safety information.
• This product is intended for household, industrial and commercial use only.
It is not intended for outside use.
• To protect against electric shock, do not place heater in window, immerse unit plug or cord in
water or spray with liquids.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug the heater from the outlet when not in use, when moving heater from one location to
another and before cleaning.
• Do not operate the heater in the presence of explosive and/or ammable fumes.
• Do not place the heater or any parts near an open ame, cooking or other
heating appliance.
• Do not operate the heater with a damaged cord, plug, after a malfunction or if dropped or
damaged in any manner.
• The front grid gets very hot when in use, so treat this heater as you would an electric bar re.
• To disconnect grip the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. Never yank the cord.
• Always use on a dry level surface.
• Do not operate if the heater housing is removed or damaged.
• Warning: To reduce the risk of re or electric shock, do not use this heater with
any speed control or timer.
• Do not leave the heater running unattended.
• Ensure that the heater is switched o from the supply mains before removing
the guard.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by manufacturer or its service agent or a
similarly qualied person in order to avoid a hazard.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Disconnect heater when moving from one location to another.
• Be sure heater is on a stable surface when operating to avoid overturning.
• Do not cover the heater when in use and make sure that there is at least 12 inches of clearance
behind it so that the air intakes are not obstructed.
• Ensure that no object of any kind is within two meters of the heater when it is use.
• Do not position it directly below a power socket
