Installation accessories
Wear an ESD wrist strap, and make sure the wrist strap makes good skin contact and is
reliably grounded. 操作者需佩戴防静电腕带，确保防静电腕带与皮肤良好接触，并确认
防静电腕带已经良好接地。
The installation tools are not provided with the router. Prepare them Yourself. 路由器不随

Attach mounting brackets to the router. 安装挂耳到路由器
Mount the router in the rack. 安装路由器到机柜
To ground the router mounteD on a workbench, connect
the ring terminal end of the grounding cable to the router
and the other end to the grounding strip.
路由器安装在工作台时，应将接地线带有OT端子的一端与
路由器相连，另一端与楼宇配线盒的接地排相连
Use needle-nose pliers to bend a hook
at the bare copper end of the grounding
cable, and secure the hook to the
grounding strip with the fastening nut.
使用尖嘴钳将接地线上无绝缘保护层的
一端弯曲成圆弧形状，通过固定螺母将
其旋紧到接地排上
If the installation site has no grounding facilities for
the grounding cable, but earth ground is available,
hammer an angle iron or steel tube into the earth
ground to serve as a grounding conductor.
如果路由器安装环境中不具备专用的接地线连接装
置，也可以采用埋设接地体的方式将设备妥善接地
Connecting the grounding cable
Correctly connecting the router grounding cable is crucial to lightning protection and EMI
protection.路由器地线的正确连接是路由器防雷、防干扰的重要保障，请使用设备随机提
供的保护地线正确接地。
Make sure the air inlet and outlet vents are not blocked and the installation site has a good
ventilation system. 请确保路由器的进、出风孔不被遮挡，并将路由器安装在具有良好通风散
热系统的环境中。

Installing a power module
Before mounting the router on a rack, make sure the rack is reliably grounded.路由器安装在机
柜时，要求机柜已经良好接地
Connect the ring terminal of the grounding cable to the router and the other end of the cable to
grounding terminal on the rack. 将保护地线一端的OT端子与路由器相连，另一端连接接地设备
Connect the building grounding cable to the grounding terminal on the rack. 将楼宇保护地线与
机柜接地端子相连 You can install two power modules on the MSR3600-51 router for redundancy. The power
modules are hot swappable.MSR3600-51路由器最多支持2个电源模块进行冗余备份，电源模
块支持热插拔。
To install a SIC interface card:
1. Remove the filler panel from
the SIC slot.
2. Insert the SIC interface card.
3. Fasten the captive screws.
安装SIC接口模块：

Installing an interface card
SIC interface cards are not hot swappable. SIC接口模块不支持热插拔。

Connecting the power cord
Before connecting the power cord, make sure the router is reliably grounded and the
power source is switched off. 在连接电源线前，需保证设备已正确接地。
Connect the power cord to the router first, and then to the equipment-room power
supply system to avoid bodily injury. 在连接电源线时，请确认路由器电源开关处于关
闭状态，先完成电源线与路由器侧的连接，再进行电源线与机房供电系统的连接，以免
造成人身伤害。
The AC power cord in the figure is only for illustration. 电源线的安装请以实际发货为
准，图片仅供参考。
MSR3600-28/3600-28-SI/3600-51-SI uses built-in power modules. MSR3600-28/3600-28-SI/
3600-51-SI为内置电源款型。

Obtaining documentation
To connect the power cord when you mount the router on a rack:
1. Attach labels to the two ends of the power cord.
2. Connect one end of the power cord to the router and the other end to the power source.
You can use a removable cable tie to secure the power cord.
