Wear an ESD wrist strap, and make sure the wrist strap makes good skin contact
and is reliably grounded.
操作者需佩戴防静电腕带，确保防静电腕带与皮肤良好接触，并确认防静电腕带已经良好接地。

To connect the grounding cable for a router installed on a workbench:
1. Remove the two grounding screws from the grounding holes and use the grounding
screws to attach one end of the grounding cable to the grounding holes.
2. Connect the other end of the grounding cable to the building grounding device. If the
installation site does not have grounding devices but earth ground is available, hammer an
angle iron or steel tube into the earth ground to act as a grounding conductor.
路由器安装在工作台时，应将接地线一端与路由器相连，并使用随设备提供的两颗接地螺钉固定，另一
端与楼宇接地装置相连。如果安装环境中不具备专用的接地线连接装置也可以采用埋设接地体的方式将
设备妥善接地。
Make sure the air inlet and outlet vents are not
blocked and the installation site has a good
ventilation system.
请确保路由器的进、出风孔不被遮挡，并将路由器安装

The MSR 56-60/56-80 uses left-to-rear air aisles.

Correctly connecting the router grounding cable is crucial to lightning protection and
EMI protection.
路由器地线的正确连接是路由器防雷、防干扰的重要保障，请使用设备随机提供的保护地线正确接地。
The shipped mounting brackets and mounting bracket installation method vary by
device model. The following mounting bracket installation is for illustration only.
不同款型的设备，标配挂耳及挂耳的安装方式不同，安装挂耳到路由器时请按照实际情况进行选择。

To connect the grounding cable for a router installed in a rack:
1. Make sure the rack is reliably grounded. Connect the building grounding cable to the
grounding strip on the rack.
2. Use the grounding cable to connect the router to the grounding strip on the rack.
路由器安装在机柜时，要求机柜已经良好接地，首先需将楼宇保护地线与机柜接地排相连，然后使用接
地线将路由器与机柜接地排相连。

• To install two MPUs for the router, make sure the two MPUs are the same model.

• The SPU-300-G can only be used together with the MPU-100-G.

MPUs , SPEs and HMIMs are hot swappable. SPUs are not hot swappable.

The MSR 56-60/56-80 router supports a maximum of four power modules and allows for
power module redundancy. The power modules are hot swappable.
MSR 56-60/56-80路由器最多支持4个电源模块进行冗余备份，电源模块支持热插拔。

Do not install AC and DC power modules on
the same router.
在需要安装多块电源的情况下，安装的电源模块必
须全部为直流电源模块或者全部为交流电源模块。

• Before connecting a power cord, make sure the router is reliably grounded.
在连接电源线前，需保证设备已正确接地。
• Make sure the power is shut off before connecting a power cord. To avoid bodily
injury, connect the power cord first to the router and then to the equipment-room
power supply system.
在连接电源线时，请确认路由器电源开关处于关闭状态，先完成电源线与路由器侧的连接，再
进行电源线与机房供电系统的连接，以免造成人身伤害。
Connecting a power cord 连接电源线
To connect a power cord for a router installed in a rack:
1. Attach labels to both ends of the power cord for identification.
2. Connect one end of the power cord to the router and the other end to the power source.
3. Use removable cable ties to secure the power cord.
电源线的两端粘贴标签，并分别与路由器和供电设备紧密相连，同时使用可拆卸式扎带固定。

If you remove the filler module next to the PWR1
or PWR3 slot, you can install a PoE power module.

To connect a power cord for a router installed on a workbench:
1. Connect one end of the power cord to the router and the other end to the power source.
2. Use a removable cable tie to secure the power cord.
Arrange the power cords neatly and keep them away from high-temperature, wet, or sharp
objects.
路由器安装在开放的工作台时，应将电源线摆放整齐，避免与高温、潮湿或尖锐的物品触碰。电源线的
两端应分别与路由器和供电设备紧密相连，并使用可拆卸式扎带固定，避免因人员走动或触碰，勿将电
源线松脱的情况发生。
