1.Watersupply3/8"O.D.unplatedcoppertube.Waste1-1/4"IPS.Contractortosupplywastetrapandservicestop
valveinaccordancewith local code.
2.Connectinglinestobemadeofunplatedcopperandshouldbethoroughlyflushedtoremoveallforeignmatter
beforebeingconnectedtofountain.Thisfountainismanufacturedinsuchinmannerthatitdoesnotinanyway
causetaste,odor,color,orsedimentproblems.
3.Connectfountaintosupplylinewithashut-offvalveandinstalla3/8"unplatedcopperwaterlinebetweenthevalve
andthecooler. Connectto3/8"malepipethreadwithinstallersuppliedfitting.DONOTSOLDERTUBESATTACHED TOTHE3/8"
MALEPLASTICFITTING ASDAMAGE MAYRESULT. MAYRESULT.
4.Theseproductsaredesignedtooperateon20psig to105psigsupplylinepressure.Ifinlet pressureisabove105
psig,apressure regulator mustbeinstalledinthesupplyline.Anydamagecausedbyreasonofconnecting this
product to supply line pressures lower than 20 psigorhigherthan105psisisnotcoveredbywarranty.

THE GROUNDING OF ELECTRICALEQUIPMENT SUCHASTELEPHONE, COMPUTERS, ETC. TO WATER LINES ISA
COMMON PROCEDURE. THIS GROUNDING MAY BE IN THE BUILDING OR MAY OCCURAWAY FROMTHE BUILDING.
THIS GROUNDING CAN CAUSE ELECTRICALFEEDBACK INTOAFOUNTAIN, CREATINGAN ELECTROLYSIS WHICH
CAUSESAMETALLIC TASTE ORAN INCREASE INTHE METALCONTENTOF THEWATER.THISCONDITION IS
AVOIDABLEBYUSINGTHEPROPER MATERIALSAS INDICATED.ANYDRAIN FITTINGSPROVIDED BYTHE

2. Refertorough-inforplumbing.
3. Installshut-offvalveon water supply.(valvenotfurnished)
4. Locateandinstall fountainusing3/8"minimumanchorscrewsorbolts.(screws orboltsnotfurnished)
CAUTION:Thisfountainisratedforinletwaterpressureof20-105PSI.Apressurereducingregulatorshouldbeusediftheinletwater
supplyexceeds105PSI.
5. Connectwater supplyandfountaindrain.Waterconnection&drainmustcomplywithlocalcodes.
6. Turnonwatersupplyandcheck all connections for leaks.

TROUBLE SHOOTING AND MAINTENANCE
Orifice Assy: Mineraldeposits onorifice cancause waterflow tospurt or not regulate.
Mineral deposits may be removed from the orifice with a small round file or
small diameter wire. CAUTION: DO NOT file or cut orifice material.
Stream Regulator: Iforifice isclean, regulateflow asin “STREAM HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT"
instructions below. If replacement is necessary, see parts list for correct regulator
part number.
Actuation of Quick Connect Water Fittings: Cooleris provided withlead-free connectors
which utilize an o-ring water seal. To remove tubing from the fitting, relieve
water pressure, push in on the gray collar while pulling on the tubing.(see Fig.1)

STREAM HEIGHT: Stream height is factory set at 45-50 PSI.
If supply pressure varies greatly from this,
remove items 7 and 8 (see figure 3) and
adjust screw on item 17. Clockwise adjustment
will raise stream and counter-clockwise adjust-
ment will lower stream. For best adjustment,
stream should hit basin approx. 6-1/2" from bubbler.
