•The product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.
•Protect the product from dirt, moistureand overheating, and only use it in adry environment.
•Do not use the product in areas wherethe use of electronic devices is not permitted.
•Do not place the product near interference elds, metal frames, computers, TVs, etc. Electronic devices and
window frames can negatively affect the product’sfunctionality.
•Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.
•Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself.Leave any and all service work to qualied experts.

Warning –Batteries
•Immediately remove and dispose of dead batteries from the product.
•Only use batteries (or rechargeable batteries) that match the specied type.
•When inserting batteries, note the correct polarity (+ and -markings) and insert the batteries
accordingly.Failure to do so could result in the batteries leaking or
exploding.
•Do not overcharge batteries.
•Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
•Do not short circuit the batteries/rechargeable batteries and keep them away from uncoated metal
objects.

4. Getting Started
Open the battery compartment (6) and insert two AA batteries with the correct polarity.Close the battery
compartment.
5. Operation
5.1 Automatic date/time setting using the DCF signal
After the batteries areinserted, the display is switched on and an acoustic signal sounds for 2seconds. The
clock automatically searches for the radio signal. This process can take 3to5minutes. When the wireless
signal is received, the date and time areautomatically set and the radio icon is displayed. The clock
automatically receives the time code every hour.
If the clock is unable to receive atime signal wirelessly,the time/temperatureare displayed and the radio icon
is not visible. In this case, you can set the time manually.
5.2. Manually setting the time
Press MODE (5) for 3seconds in the time/temperaturedisplay to set the system date and time. The icon
disappears. However,ifyou arewithin the range of the radio signal, the clock will automatically try to receive
the radio signal.
•Press MODE (5):
the hour digits areblink and can be set by pressing or (3) key.
•Press MODE again (5):
the minute digits areblink and can be set by pressing or (3) key.
•Press MODE again (5):
the year digits areblink and can be set by pressing or (3) key.
•Press MODE again (5):
the month digits areblink and can be set by pressing or (3) key.
•Press MODE again (5):
the date digits is blink and can be set by pressing or (3) key.
•Press MODE one last time (5): the normal time display appears.
Note
•If no key is pressed within 30 seconds, it will exit the Manual Time Setting Mode and go back to
Time/TemperatureDisplay without the data update
•During any setting mode, press and hold or key for 2seconds for fast setting
5.3 12/24-hour display format
Press the button (3) to switch between the 12 and 24-hour formats. In the 12-hour format, AM or PM
appears beforethe time.

5.4 Selecting the temperature/Alarm 1/Alarm 2/two-time mode display
•Ifyou press the MODE button (5), the time for ALARM 1isdisplayed.
•Ifyou press the MODE button (5) again, the time for ALARM 2isdisplayed.
•Ifyou press the MODE button (5) again, the second time is displayed.
•Ifyou press the MODE button (5) again, the temperatureisdisplayed
5.5 Calendar
To change the weekday display from one language to another language, press key for 3seconds –the
display will show the current language.
EN =for English GE =for German IT =for Italian
FR =for French SP =for Spain DU =for Dutch SW =for Swedish
Press &hold the key for 2seconds to toggle to the other languages.
5.6 Setting the Alarm time
Setting Alarm 1
•In the Alarm 1Display: Press MODE (5) for about 3seconds.
The hour digits areblink and can be set by pressing or key.
•Press MODE again (5).
The minute digits areblink and can be set by pressing or key.
•Press MODE again (5).
The alarm time is set and the 1symbol is displayed.
Setting Alarm 2
•IIn the Alarm 2Display: Press MODE for about 3seconds (5):
The hour digits areblink and can be set by pressing or key.
•Press MODE again (5):
The minute digits areblink and can be set by pressing or key.
•Press MODE again (5):
The alarm time is set and the 2symbol is displayed.
Activating Alarm 1/Alarm 2
•Press the ALARM button (2) to activate Alarm 1.
The 1symbol is displayed..
•Press the ALARM button (2) again to activate Alarm 2.
The 2symbol is displayed.
•Press the ALARM button (2) again to activate both alarm times.
The 1and 2symbols aredisplayed.
•Press the ALARM button (2) again to deactivate all alarms..
Neither of the 1and 2symbols is displayed.

Alarm and SNOOZE function
When ALARM 1/ALARM 2goes off,the corresponding alarm symbol 1/2ashes.
•Press the ALARM button (2) to switch off the alarm.
•If you press the SNOOZE/LIGHT (1) button, the alarm stops and the backlighting comes on for
5seconds. The display for repeating the alarm (Zz)ashes. After 4minutes, the alarm goes off again.
•If the alarm is not switched off,itstops automatically after 4minutes.
5.7 Setting the time zone
•Press and hold the UP button for 3seconds, the icon Fwill turn on.
•In the time zone and temperaturedisplay,hold down the MODE (5) button for
3seconds. Youcan set the time zone (hours only) by pressing the or (3) button
•Press the MODE buttonagain to conrm the setting of foreign time.
•Press and hold the button for 3seconds to choose between local and foreign time display.
5.8 Setting the Dual Time
Press the MODE button (5) until DUAL TIME appears.
Youcan set asecond time by holding down the MODE button (5) for 3seconds in the DUAL TIME display.
•The hours display for the second time ashes and you can set it using the and buttons (3).
•Press the MODE button (5) again. The minutes display for the second time ashes and you can set it using
the UP and buttons (3).
•Press the MODE button (5) again to conrm your settings.
5.9 Light on/off
When you press the SNOOZE/LIGHT (1) button, the backlighting is switched on and then switched off again
automatically after 5seconds.
5.10 Motion sensor (integrated into the SNOOZE/LIGHT button (1))
The ON/OFF switch (7) on the back of the device must be set to ON.Ifyou move your hand directly in front of
the motion sensor and no morethan 30 cm away from it, the display will light up for about 5seconds.
5.11 Temperature function
Press °C/°F (4) to switch the temperaturedisplay between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
6. Care and Maintenance
Only clean this product with aslightly moist, lint-free cloth, and do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Make
surethat water does not get into the product.
