and calibration due to misuse, abuse or negligence. Unauthorized service or modication of the product or of any

Before installing the wireless door alert kit, ensure that all parts are present. Compare parts with the Hardware
Included and Package Contents sections. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble, install, or
operate this wireless door alert kit.

1 Installing the doorbell
ƑPlug in the doorbell (A) at the desired location.
2 Removing the battery tab
ƑRemove the back of the sensor (B) by
pushing in the tab on the bottom with a small
screwdriver (not included).
ƑRemove the orange battery tab from the
sensor (B).

3 Testing the sensor and doorbell
ƑTemporarily position the sensor (B) and magnet
(C) where they will be mounted.
ƑMove the magnet (C) away from the sensor (B)
to simulate a door being opened. The red LED
should ash and the doorbell (A) will sound
“Beep-Beep”.
ƑIf the doorbell does not sound, move the
doorbell closer to the sensor and test again.
NOTE: Do not permanently mount the sensor until the
sensor and doorbell are working properly.
4 Preparing to mount the sensor
The maximum gap between the sensor (B) and the
magnet (C) is 1/2 in.. The arrows on the face of each
component must be aligned and facing each other.
ƑPlace the sensor (B) on the door frame and the
magnet (C) beside the sensor (B) and ensure
the arrows are aligned.
ƑIf the magnet (C) is recessed, use the
spacer(D) to ensure proper alignment.

5 Mounting the sensor
Use either the small screws (BB) or double-sided
tape(DD) to mount the sensor (B):
ƑTo mount with the small screws (BB), remove
the back of the sensor (B) by pushing in the
tab on the bottom with a small screwdriver.
ƑPlace the sensor back against the mounting
surface and mark the two screw holes.
ƑDrill two 1/16 in. pilot holes.
ƑAttach the sensor back with the small
screws(BB). Tighten securely and snap on the
front of the sensor (B).
ƑWhen attaching the sensor (B) with double-
sided tape (DD), remove paper from both sides
of the double-sided tape (DD) and apply to a
clean surface.

6 Mounting the magnet
Use the small screws (BB) (or the large screws (CC) if
using the magnet spacer (D)) to mount the magnet (C).
ƑRemove the back of the magnet (C) by pushing
in the tab on the bottom of the magnet with a
small screwdriver.
ƑPlace the magnet back against the mounting
surface and mark the two screw holes.
ƑD rill two 1/16 in. pilot holes.
ƑAttach the magnet back with the small
screws(BB). Tighten securely and snap on the
front of the magnet (C).
Operation
1 Adjusting the doorbell volume
The doorbell (A) has an adjustable volume control
located on the side. Rotate the thumbwheel up or
down to adjust the volume.
2 Adding wireless push buttons
NOTE: Wireless push buttons can be added to this
doorbell. The push buttons are sold separately.
See the owner’s manual of the push button accessory
for instructions to sync with this doorbell.

3 Selecting a push button tune
The doorbell (A) has different selectable tunes for
push buttons (sold separately). The push button set
as the “REAR” push button will only play Ding (one
note tune). The push button set as the “FRONT” push
button will play either Ding-Dong (two note tune) or
Westminster (eight note tune).
ƑPress and release the “TUNE” button on the
doorbell (A) until the desired tune is heard.
NOTE: All doorbell models are designed to work with up
to 10 wireless push buttons (sold separately).
NOTE: All doorbells are designed to play only two
different tunes no matter how many push buttons are used.

ƑUse a dry cloth to clean the doorbell and sensor.
ƑDo not use cleaners or polishes.
ƑDo not use any uids on the doorbell or sensor.
Troubleshooting

not synced.
ƑSync the sensor and doorbell:
ƑRemove the sensor back using a small athead
screwdriver.
ƑPress and hold the button on the doorbell until the
doorbell sounds a “Beep-Beep”.
ƑPress the button inside the sensor within 30 sec-
onds. The doorbell will sound a “Beep-Beep” tone to
indicate the sensor is synced.
ƑTest the sensor as shown in step 3 under Installa-
tion to ensure operation.

or wall.
ƑConcrete may reduce range. Move the doorbell away
from the concrete surface.
ƑDoorbell and sensor are
installed too far apart.
ƑLocate the doorbell closer to the sensor.
Doorbell sounds
when not intended
(false triggers).
ƑDoorbell is receiving in-
terference from another
wireless device.
ƑReset the doorbell:
ƑRemove the sensor back using a small athead
screwdriver.
ƑRemove sensor battery. Wait 30 seconds.
ƑPress and hold the button inisde the sensor for 10
to 15 seconds within 60 seconds after installing
battery into the sensor.
ƑPress and hold the button on the doorbell until the
doorbell sounds a “Beep-Beep-Beep-Beep”.
ƑRe-sync the doorbell to the sensor:
ƑPress and hold the button on the doorbell until the
doorbell sounds a “Beep-Beep”.
ƑPress the button inside the sensor within 30 sec-
onds. The doorbell will sound a “Beep-Beep” tone to
indicate the sensor is synced.
ƑTest the sensor as shown in step 3 under Installa-
tion to ensure operation.

1 Instalación del timbre
ƑEnchufe el timbre (A) en la ubicación deseada.
2 Retiro de la lengüeta de la pila
ƑCon un destornillador pequeño (no se incluye),
presione la pestaña en la parte inferior para
retirar la parte posterior del sensor (B).
ƑRetire la pestaña naranja de la batería del
sensor (B).

3 Prueba del detector y del
timbre
ƑColoque temporalmente el detector (B) y el
imán (C) donde serán montados.
ƑAleje el imán (C) del detector (B) para simular
una puerta que se está abriendo. EL LED rojo
deberá titilar y el timbre sonará “bip-bip”.
ƑSi el timbre no suena, acerque más el timbre al
detector (B) y pruebe de nuevo.
NOTA: No monte permanentemente el pulsador hasta que
el pulsador y el timbre estén funcionando correctamente.
4 Preparación para montar el
detector
La separación máxima entre el detector (B) y el
imán(C) es de 1/2 pulgada. Las echas en la cara de
cada componente deben estar alineadas y enfrentadas
entre sí.
ƑColoque el detector (B) en el marco de la
puerta y el imán (C) al lado del detector (B) y
asegúrese que las echas estén alineadas.
ƑSi el imán (C) está hundido, utilice el
espaciador (D) para garantizar una alineación
correcta.

5 Montaje del detector

6 Montaje del imán
Use los tornillos pequeños (BB) (o los tornillos
grandes(CC) si utiliza el espaciador (D) del imán ) para
montar el imán (C).
ƑRetire la parte posterior del imán (C)
empujando la aleta de la parte inferior del
imán (C) con un destornillador pequeño.
ƑColoque la parte posterior del imán (C) contra
la supercie de montaje y marque los dos
oricios para tornillos.
ƑTaladre dos oricios guía de 1/16 de pulgada.
ƑSujete la parte posterior del imán (C) con los
dos tornillos pequeños (BB). Apriete bien y
cierre a presión la parte delantera del imán (C).

1 Regulación del volumen del
timbre
El timbre (A) tiene un control de volumen regulable a
un lado. Gire la rueda selectora hacia arriba o hacia
abajo para regular el volumen.
2 Adición de pulsadores
inalámbricos
NOTA: Se pueden añadir pulsadores inalámbricos a este
timbre. Los pulsadores se venden por separado.

pulsador para instrucciones sobre como sincronizar

3 Selección de un tono para el
pulsador
El timbre (A) tiene diferentes tonos seleccionables
para los pulsadores (se venden por separado). El
pulsador congurado como pulsador “DE ATRÁS”
reproducirá solo un Ding (tono de una nota). El
pulsador congurado como el pulsador “PRINCIPAL”
reproducirá sea un Din-Don (tono de dos notas) o
Westminster (tono de ocho notas).
ƑPresione el botón “TUNE” (TONO) en el timbre
(A) hasta escuchar el tono deseado.
NOTA: Todos los modelos de timbres están diseñados
para funcionar hasta con 10 pulsadores inalámbricos
(vendidos por separado)
NOTA: Todos los timbres están diseñados para reproducir
solo dos tonos diferentes no importa cuantos pulsadores
se utilicen.

ƑEl concreto puede reducir el alcance. Mueva el timbre de
la puerta lejos de la supercie de hormigón.
ƑEl timbre y el sensor
están instalados dema-
siado alejados.
ƑUbique el timbre más cerca del sensor.
El timbre suena

ƑEl timbre está recibien-
do interferencia de otro
