Electronic cake game unit • 5 plastic candles

Blow out the tricky candles as fast as you can! Whoever blows out the most wins!

1. Insert batteries into the game unit. (See battery information on the back page.)
2. Remove the candles from the bag, then discard the bag.

IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION
Batteries should be replaced by an adult.
CAUTION:
1. Always follow the instructions carefully. Use only batteries specified and be sure to insert
them correctly by matching the + and – polarity markings.
2. Do not mix old batteries and new batteries, or standard (carbonzinc) with alkaline batteries.
3. Remove exhausted or dead batteries from the product.
4. Remove batteries if product is not to be played with for a long time.
5. Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
6. Should this product cause, or be affected by, local electrical interference, move it away
from other electrical equipment. Reset (switching off and back on again or removing and
reinserting batteries) if necessary.
7. RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES: Do not mix these with any other types of batteries. Always
remove from the product before recharging. Recharge batteries under adult supervision.
DO NOT RECHARGE OTHERTYPES OF BATTERIES.
This product and its batteries must be disposed of separately at your local waste
recycling centre. Do not dispose of them in your household waste bin.

GET READY!
1. Place the game unit on a flat surface in the
centre of play.
2. Insert the candles in any order into the five
holes on the cake as shown.
3. Press to turn on the game. One candle
will light up to indicate single-player mode.
FOR MULTIPLAYER:
4. Press to add more players. Every time
you press , another candle will light up to
indicate a new player.
5. Whoever’s birthday is next picks one of the colours flashing in the centre
of the cake. They will play as that colour. Then the player to their left
chooses a different colour, and so on, until everyone has a colour.
NOTE: To turn off the game at any point, press and hold for three seconds.

Press again to start the game. All the candles will light up and then start
flashing to the “Happy Birthday” theme while the centre of the cake flashes
each player’s colour before stopping on a colour at random. If the cake stops
on your colour and the horn sounds, it’s your turn to play!
ON YOUR TURN:

Quick! Blow on the candles to make the lights spin and go out!

If any candles flicker and relight, blow them out again!

Keep blowing until either all five candles stay out or the music stops!

That’s the end of your turn. All the candles will then light up again and
either the centre of the cake will switch to another player’s colour or the
game will level up!
NOTE: If you’re out of the game, your colour will no longer appear in the
centre of the cake!
TIPSTIPS &&TRICKS!TRICKS!
• Get close to the candles when it’s your turn to blow them out!
• If needed, rotate the cake to get closer to certain candles!

The candles will light up quickly in a clockwise direction whenever the game
levels up!
You’ll hear the “Happy Birthday” theme again and the centre of the cake will
flash the colour of any player still in the game before stopping on a colour at
random.
After each level-up, the music plays faster and there’s less time to blow out
those tricky candles!
If two players are left in the game and they both fail to blow out all the
candles, the game levels up anyway! Both players must then continue playing
until there’s a clear winner!

Blow out the most candles and be the only player left in the game to win!
The cake will play a special victory tune for the winner while their colour
and the candles flash to the beat!

The centre of the cake flashes if you’re running
out of time! If you don’t blow out all the candles, you could
be out of the game!
SOLO PLAY!
Taking on the cake alone? Good luck! Blow out all the candles to keep
levelling up! If you fail to do so, the game is over! If you complete all the
levels, well done – you’ve beaten the game!
