Use a Phillips screwdriverto loosenscrew in battery empartment
door (screw remains attached to door). Remwe door and remove old
batterles. Insert 4 x 1.5V fresh "AAn or LR6 size atkalhie batteties.

Replace door and tighten screw (be sure ribbon is clear of seal).
