Your pony changes color with changes in
temperature:
• Cold temperature reveals the
pony’s colors;
• Warm temperature turns the
pony white.
Put the Ice Pens in the freezer. Ask a
grown-up for help! Be sure the Ice Pens are
standing up in the freezer: do not lay them
on their side! Also, do not put the Ice Pens in
the freezer without the caps screwed on.
Once the water in the Ice Pens has turned
completely to ice, take the Ice Pens out of
the freezer: you’re ready to decorate your
pony!
NOTE: The pens will drip a little, as the
ice melts.
Revealing the Pony’s Colors
Apply the Ice Pens to the pony, and watch
its colors “magically” appear! You could also
reveal your pony’s colors by leaving it in your
freezer for about 5 minutes. Ask a grown-up
for help!
Turning the Pony White
When the pony warms up, its color will turn
back to white, so you can start decorating all
over again!
Use a washcloth dampened with warm water
to turn colored areas on your pony white
again, or to get any hard-to-reach areas.
You can also style your pony’s hair. Have fun!
NOTE: Do not use hot water or cleaning
solutions on the pony.
Ice Pens
Your pony comes with two
(2) Ice Pens. Unscrew the
Ice Pen caps, and fill the
pens all the way to the top
with water. Screw the caps
back on.
Here are some neat tips to help you decorate your pony!
• Blow through a straw
(not included) to decorate
your pony! Where your
pony has color, create
spots or dots of white.
The narrower the straw,
the smaller the spots
and dots!
• If your hands or fingers are warm enough,
press them onto the pony to make patterns and
designs in white!
• When you take an Ice Pen
out of the freezer, let the ice
inside melt a little bit: then
use a straw (not included)
to splatter the cold water
drips on the pony, to
make creative patterns!
