Mini Action Game
Hagrid™
1
The Story
Yo are in the Forbidden Forest. Yo are HAGRID™, the giant gatekeeper
from Hogwart's School, so yo are strong and reso rcef l. B t yo r
responsibilities are great. Yo m st protect the st dents: HARRY
POTTER™, NEVILLE, MALFOY and yo r own pet dog, FANG from
the evils of the Forbidden Forest.
Lately, there have been strange sightings in the Forbidden Forest,
incl ding the slaying of a nicorn. Yo know that nicorn blood holds
the key to eternal life, yo fear that "Yo Know Who" (VOLDEMORT™)
co ld perhaps have come back. So keeping the st dents safe is no small
feat -- especially, since the st dents will not all be traveling together
thro gh the Forbidden Forest. It is impossible to keep an eye on all of
them (and FANG) at the same time!
2
Object Of The Game
Yo play as HAGRID™. Yo m st travel thro gh the Forbidden Forest,
resc ing the st dents and FANG whenever they appear. Even yo r great
power cannot stand p to the strength of "Yo Know Who"
(VOLDEMORT™). So when he attacks HARRY (in the form of QUIRREL),
call for help from FIRENZE, the centa r, to help yo .
There are two skill levels and 5 stages of play. As yo advance from
stage to stage, the paths thro gh the Forbidden Forest become harder
to pass thro gh. In each stage, there will be more and more holes to fall
into and trees falling down to block yo r path. If yo can't complete a
stage by finding a clearing (exit) thro gh the Forbidden Forest before
time expires or before completing yo r resc es, yo LOSE the game.
Yo WIN the game if yo can find yo r way
thro gh the fifth stage and complete all yo r
resc es. When yo win the game, FIRENZE will
appear along with yo and all the st dents and
FANG!
Before play begins, yo can toggle between skill mode "1" and "2".
In skill mode 1, the paths thro gh the Forbidden Forest are easier to
get thro gh with fewer holes in the gro nd and falling trees to worry
abo t.
In skill mode 2, the paths thro gh the Forbidden Forest are m ch harder.
There are also more holes, more falling trees -- and the action is faster,
req iring greater skill!
