Important Safety Instructions
General Safety
•DANGER!
Risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. Failure to provide
proper ventilation could result in serious illness or death.
• Check that the heater is in sound condition and good
working order. Take immediate action to repair or
replace damaged parts.
• Only use diesel or kerosene to fuel this heater, in
accordance with instructions contained in this manual.
• Locate heater on a level and stable surface.
•WARNING! Only use heater in well ventilated areas.
Ensure continuous ventilation is provided to the heater
operating area via windows and doors etc. If people are
not required to be present in the heated area, the volume
of air to be heated (m3)/heat output (kW) ratio must be at
least 10:1 and people must be advised not to remain in
the heated area for prolonged periods. If people are
required to be present in the heated area, the volume of
air to be heated (m3)/heat output (kW) ratio must be at
least 30:1. Ventilation must be to the outside of the
premises in which the heater is to be operated. Minimum
Ventilation Opening Needed: AB2200Q - 5990cm2
(6.5ft2). The volume concentration of oxygen (O2) in the
heated room, must always remain above 17%.
•WARNING!
DO NOT use the heater near flammable material,
liquids, solids, gases or compressed gas cylinders etc.
•DO NOT stand or place any object less than 3m from
the heater output and keep the heater a minimum of 2m
from any walls or objects (see figure 5 on page 8).

•DO NOT use the heater in closed rooms, living areas,
basements or below ground level.
•DO NOT allow unauthorised persons or children to
operate the heater.
•DO NOT move or handle the heater when hot, without
wearing protective gloves. Never move the heater whilst
it is operating.
•DO NOT leave the heater unattended for prolonged
periods of time when in use. Switch the heater off and
unplug from the mains before leaving work area.
•DO NOT fill the fuel tank whilst the heater is running or
still hot.
•DO NOT over-fill the fuel container. Wipe up any spilt
fuel immediately.
•DO NOT obstruct the air inlet (rear) and air outlet (front)
of the heater and DO NOT use duct work in front or at
the rear of the heater.
•DO NOT allow children or animals near the heater
when in use, or whilst still hot.
•WARNING! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
DO NOT expose the heater to water spray, rain,
dripping water or wind.
•DO NOT operate the heater when you are tired or under
the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating
medication.
•DO NOT touch the heater outlet when in use, or for a
period of time after it’s switched off, as these are VERY
hot and will take time to cool down.
•DO NOT switch the heater off by disconnecting it from
the mains. ALWAYS set the switch on the burner to the
‘OFF’ position and allow the cooling cycle to finish,
before disconnecting from the mains.

•DO NOT use an external fuel tank. Only use the tank
that is fitted to the heater, and only fill it when the heater
has cooled down.
• Ensure that the heater is correctly turned off.
• When not in use for an extended period, store in a safe,
dry area, out of reach of children.
• Important: This heater is not intended for persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
heater by a person responsible for their safety. Children
should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the heater.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
•WARNING! It is the responsibility of the owner and the
operator to read, understand and comply with the
following:
You must check all electrical products, before use, to
ensure that they are safe. You must inspect power cables,
plugs, sockets and any other connectors for wear or
damage. You must ensure that the risk of electric shock is
minimised by the installation of appropriate safety
devices. A Residual Current Circuit Breaker (RCCB)
should be incorporated in the main distribution board.
We also recommend that a Residual Current Device
(RCD) is used. It is particularly important to use an RCD
with portable products that are plugged into a supply
which is not protected by an RCCB. If in any doubt
consult a qualified electrician.
You must also read and understand the following
instructions concerning electrical safety.
• The Electricity at Work Act 1989 requires that all portable

electrical appliances, if used on business premises, are
tested by a qualified electrician, using a Portable
Appliance Tester (PAT), at least once a year.
• The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 makes owners of
electrical appliances responsible for the safe condition of
those appliances and the safety of the appliance
operators. If in any doubt about electrical safety, contact
a qualified electrician.
• Ensure that the insulation on all cables and on the heater
is safe before connecting it to the power supply.
• Ensure that cables are always protected against short
circuit and overload.
• Regularly inspect power supply cables and plugs for wear
or damage and check all connections to ensure that
none is loose.
•DO NOT pull or carry the appliance by the power cable.
•DO NOT pull the plug from the socket by the cable.
•DO NOT use worn or damaged cables, plugs or
connectors. Immediately have any faulty item repaired or
replaced by a qualified electrician. When a BS 1363/A
UK 3 pin plug is damaged, cut the cable just above the
plug and dispose of the plug safely.
Fit a new plug according to the following instructions (UK
only).
a) Connect the GREEN/YELLOW earth wire to the
earth terminal ‘E’.
b) Connect the BROWN live wire to the live
terminal ‘L’.
c) Connect the BLUE neutral wire to the neutral
terminal ‘N’.
d) After wiring, check that there are no bare wires, that
all wires have been correctly connected, that the cable
outer insulation extends beyond the cable restraint and

that the restraint is tight.

Assembling wheels and tube frame
Insert the wheel axle to the corresponding hole of lower tube frame, set bush
G at the two ends of wheel axle H. Then slide the wheel F over the wheel
axle H, put on the wheel cap E.
Put the heater body on the lower tube frame B, make sure the 4 holes of the
handle frame point towards the corresponding 4 holes on the lower tube
frame respectively.
Insert screws J in the holes place flat washers D under the lower frame B and
tighten the hexagonal screw C.
Insert other screws in the holes respectively and use a screw driver to tighten
them by the same way.
Before operation
Never use high volatile fuel such as petrol. ONLY diesel or kerosene.
Only fill the fuel tank when the heater stops running and the flame goes out.
Please use diesel or No JIS1 kerosene. Never use degenerative, impure
diesel or kerosene.
When you fill the fuel tank, the tank filter must be installed.
If diesel or kerosene comes into contact with human skin please wash with
soap immediately, to prevent potential inflammation.
The burner surface is very hot just after flameout, so never touch it with your
hands. To prevent scalding or other injury, do not let fuel come in contact
with the burner.

How to fill the tank
Make sure the power plug is removed from the
power source and the power switch is in OFF
position “0”.
Place the appliance on stable and level ground,
remove the fuel cap and fill the fuel tank – see
figure 4. DO NOT overfill with diesel or
kerosene. Only refill when the fuel filter is
installed. After filling turn the cap clockwise and
tighten it.

Operation/Ignition
Check the fuel tank and ensure there is sufficient fuel in it.
DO NOT stand or place any object less than 3m from the heater output and
keep the heater a minimum of 2m from any walls or objects (see figure 5
above).
Insert the plug in the socket.
Put the POWER switch to position “1” the indicator lights up.
Press the IGNITION button, the motor begins to run and the spark plug
ignites.
Stop using the appliance if there is smoke or a strange odour omitted.
Make sure the heater is ignited.
ATTENTION! while the heater is operating, never allow the floor surface to
overheat.

Turning off the heater
When you shut off the heater, make sure the flame is out before you leave
the heater.
Put the power switch to position “0” waiting as the fan stop working and the
indicator extinguishes, then remove the plug from the socket.
FLAME-OUT PROTECTION
The heater utilises a photocell to monitor the flame in the chamber during
normal operation. If normal operation is exceeded, the photosensitive resistor
will cut off the fuel supply. The fan will continue to run for 90 seconds then the
power will cut off.
Electrical power-cut protection
If the power cuts out the heater stops working without the plug being removed
from the socket and the power switch is still at ON position. When the power is
restored, the indicator will light but the heater will not work. Please press the
START switch to start up the heater.

Description of working principles
Press the START switch once, the motor D begins to work, the spark plug
ignites. This heater is equipped with an electric air pump that forces air through
the air line connected to the fuel intake and then through a nozzle in the burner
head. When the air passes in front of the fuel intake it causes fuel to rise from
the tank and into the burner nozzle. This fuel and air mixture is then sprayed
into the combustion chamber in a fine mist. The air blows by the fast turning fan

blades, enters the flame steady plate and the burner, supplying additional
oxygen to the burner, making the burning more efficient. The fan dissipates heat
from the burner interior to the outside, so that the burner surface will not
overheat.
The spark plug stops working after 12 seconds of sparking.
Maintenance
Notice: Before maintenance shut off the
heater and pull out the plug.
Never maintain the heater with fuel in
the tank.
When the fuel filter gets dirty, replace it
with a new one.
Use a screw driver to open the side plate
and pull out the fuel pipe from the filter.
Use a screw driver to remove the fuel
plug from the tank and pull down the
transparent fuel pipe.
Remove the old filter and replace with a
new one. Re-install the transparent fuel
pipe and fuel outlet plug. Insert it in the
tank and connect the fuel inlet pipe –
see above figure 7.
Check the fuel tank.
When there is waste and water in the
tank, clean and drain the fuel tank.

Put the heater on the working table and
place an oil container under the fuel
tank.
Use a spanner to loosen the drain screw
and release the water and waste inside the tank.
After draining tighten the drain screw again and wipe clean any spilt water
or oil.

OTHER POTENTIAL FAULTS
odour, smoke or spark
omitted on initial use
Strange sounds, odour, white

from the outlet during ignition.
This is normal. Because at the beginning
there are air and dust mixed in the burning.
Wait for some time they will disappear.
When the air in the pipe is expelled, the
phenomenon will disappear.
The metal parts of the heater expand and
contract causing the noise. This is normal.
Fuel and air of last time were left in the oil
pipe of the nozzle, so the air and fuel are
not proper mixed, the burning isn’t
continuous. Sparkle is caused by the
residual carbon powder. This is normal.
