SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions before initial operation. Pay special attention to the safety instructions.
If you notice transport damage or while unpacking, notify your supplier immediately. Do not
operate the machine!
SPECIFIED CONDITIONS OF USE
This appliance is approved solely for use
- in accordance with description and safety instructions specified in this user´s manual
- This device is intended for chopping of ligneous or fibrous waste from the garden, such
as hedgerow and tree chippings, branches, bark and shoots of conifers. Do not put
stone, glass, metal, bones, plastic or fabric into the crusher
Any other use is not as intended. Improver use is not covered by the warranty and the
manufacturer will reject any liability. The user is liable for all damage caused to third parties and
their property. Unauthorized modifications made to machine rule out any liability on the part of
the manufacturer for damage resulting therefrom.
Please note that our equipment has not been designed for use in commercial, trade or industrial
applications. Our warranty will be voided if the machine is used in commercial, trade or industrial
businesses or for equivalent purposes.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
TRAINING
•Read the instructions carefully. Be familiar with the controls and the proper use of the
equipment. Spend a few moments to familiarize yourself with your machine before each use.
•Never allow children or people unfamiliar with these instructions to use the machine. Local
regulations can restrict the age of the operator.
•This machine is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been

given supervision or instruction concerning use of the machine by a person responsible for
their safety.
•Never work while people, especially children, or pets are nearby.
•Keep in mind that the operator or user is responsible for accidents or hazards occurring to other
people or their property.
WORK AREA
•Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered and dark areas invite accidents.
•Check the landscape where the machine will be used and remove all objects such as stones,
toys, sticks and wires, which could be caught and thrown away. Damage of the machine or
operator’s injury could be caused.
•Do not operate this machine in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable
liquids, gases, or dust. Machine create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
•Keep children and bystanders away while operating the machine. Distractions can cause you
to lose control.
PROTECTIVE EqUIPMENT
•Use eye protection. Sparks generated during working or splinters, chips and dust emitted by
the device can cause loss of sight.
•Use dust mask. Dust which is injurious to health can be generated when working on wood
and other materials. Never use the device to work on any materials containing asbestos!
•Wear protective gloves. Sparks generated during working or splinters, chips and dust
emitted by the device can cause injury.
SAFETY GUIDELINES FOR WORKING WITH THE DEVICE
•Before operation make sure that receiving hopper is empty.

•Keep head, hair and body at distance from the receiving opening.
•Do not touch the filling funnel during the operation. After switching the machine off, the
crushing roller still rotates for a few seconds.
•Ensure balance and good stability. Never lean forward and never stand higher than device
when throwing the material in.
•Never throw in any hard material such as metals, stones, glass or other foreign objects.
•Do not use the machine in rain or bad weather. Work only in daylight or in a good artificial light.
•Do not use the machine when you are tired or restless, if you consumed alcohol or drugs.
Take regular breaks and work sensibly.
•Switch the unit off and disconnect from power supply in following cases:
– when you stop using the machine, during the transport or when you leave the
machine unattended
– when you do any work on the unit, such as unclogging, cleaning, maintenance or
inspection
– when changing the spare parts
– if the electric or extension cable is damaged
– if you are going to move or lift the machine
– if you experience unusual vibrations or noise (always check for damage before re-
starting the unit)
– if there is a foreign object caught in the machine
•Do not allow material to be accumulated in discharge area, it could prevent proper discharge
and cause blowback of the material in receiving opening.
•Do not transport, lift or turn device with the engine running.

•Do not put hands, other body parts and clothes in the filling chamber, near the discharge
channel or other moving parts.
•In the event of blockage in receiving opening or discharge channel, turn off the engine and
disconnect the plug before removing the remains of material from the channel or opening.
•Make sure that there are no accumulated debris and other substances on the engine to
protect it from damage or possible fire. Keep in mind that when switching on the motor-
powered machines all cutting implements start to operate as well.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
•Do not expose this machine to the rain not even do not use this machine in dampness and wet.
Keep good lighting on the work place.
•Do not use the machine in place, where is the danger of fire or explosion.
•Protect yourself against the electric shock.
•Do not carry or manipulate the machine by the power cord, do not pull up the socket inlet
from the socket outlet by pulling the power cord. Protect the power cord against heat, grease,
aggressive liquids and sharp edges.
•Pull up the socket inlet from the socket outlet before every adjustment, repair or maintenance.
•Check the power cord regularly and check, if there are not marks of damage or ageing.
•If the power cord is damaged, let it have changed in accredited service to prevent the danger.
•Do not connect the damaged power cord into the supply and do not touch the damaged cable before
its disconnection of the supply. The damaged power cord could lead to the contact with lively parts.
•Work only in such place, which you can reach safely. Allways keep stationary position and
balance.
•Avoid unintentional startup. When carrying the machine, always unplug the mains plug. When
connecting plugs to the socket, make sure the switch is turned off.
•When working outdoors, use only extension cords that are approved and correspondingly
marked for this application and with conductors of adequate cross section.
•Check the damaged parts. Before the next using of the device it is necessary to survey the
damaged protection covers and other parts to judge, if the parts can continue to perform
their duty. Check adjustment of moving parts and their moveability, concentrate on cracks and
broken parts, fixation and other circumstances, which could threaten their duty. Protection
cover or another part, which is damaged, must be repaired or changed by accredited service.
Defective switch must be changed in accredited service.
•Do not use this machine if it is impossible to turn it on/of by the switch.
•Do not use this machine if the power cord is damaged or magged.
•This electric device is constructed in accordance with all valid safety regulations, which relate to
it. All repairs must be made only by qualified persons and only original spare parts can be used.
It can come to serious danger for the user in another case.

PERSONAL SAFETY
•This machine is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the machine by a person responsible for their safety.
•Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the machine.
•Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating this machine.
•Do not use this machine while you are tired, ill or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or
medication, or during pregnancy. A moment of inattention while operating this machine can
cause you to lose control and may result in serious personal injury.
•Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of
the tool in unexpected situations.
•Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the machine on. A wrench or a key that is
left attached to a rotating part of the machine may result in personal injury.
•Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protection. Safety equipment such as a dust mask,
non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will
reduce personal injuries.
•Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves
away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
•Prolonged use of the machine may lead to disorders of blood circulation in hands caused by
vibration. These effects can be worsened by low ambient temperatures and/or by gripping the
handgrips excessively tightly. Period of use you can extend with appropriate gloves or regular
breaks. Take frequent work breaks. Limit the amount of exposure per day.
PERSON PROTECTION
•Suitable fire extinguisher (CO2or Dry Powder).
•Fully equipped first-aid kit, available easily for machine operator and accompanying person. It
should contain enough pieces of bandage for lacerated/cutting wounds.
•Mobile phone or another device for quick calling of rescue service.
•In case of any injury always proceed in accordance with the principles of first aid.
•If someone is cut, cover the wound with a clean cloth and press hard to stop the flow of blood.
•Individuals with poor circulation who are exposed to excessive vibration may experience
injury to blood vessels or the nervous system. Vibration may cause the following symptoms
to occur in the fingers, hands or wrists: “Falling asleep” (numbness), tingling, pain, stabbing
sensation, alteration of skin colour or of the skin. If any of these symptoms occur, see
a physician!
•If fire comes from the engine or smoke appears from any area other than the exhaust vent, first
distance yourself from the product to ensure your physical safety.
•Turn off the machine and disconnect power supply.
•Use CO2or Dry Powder fire extinguisher on the fire to prevent it from spreading.
•A panicked reaction could result in the fire and other damage becoming more extensive.

RESIDUAL RISKS
•Even if the device is used according to instructions, it´s impossible to eliminate all the risks
associated with its operation. The following risks may occur arising from device construction:
•Mechanical hazard, caused by cut and throw off.
•Electrical hazard caused by touch with parts under high voltage (direct contact) or with parts,
which came under a high voltage due to failure of the device (indirect contact).
•Heat hazard resulting in burning or scalding and other injuries caused by possible contact with
high temperature objects or materials including heat sources.
•Noise risk resulting in loss of hearing (deafness) and other physiological disorders (e.g. loss of
balance, loss of consciousness).
•Vibration risk (resulting in vascular and neurological harm in the hand-arm system, for example
so called “white finger disease”).
•Dangers caused by contact with harmful liquids, gas, mist, smoke and dust or by their inhalation,
relate to emissions (for example breathing in).
•Danger of fire or explosion relate to spilling of fuel.
•Dangers caused by failing in ergonomic principles by construction of the machine, for example
dangers caused by unhealthy position of body or excessive overcharge and unnature to the
anatomy of the human hand-arm, relate to construction of handle, equilibrium of the machine
and using of toothrest.
•Dangers caused by unexpected starting, unexpected exceeding of engine revs caused by defect/
failure of control system, relate to the defects by the handle and placing of drivers.
•Dangers caused by impossibility to stop the machine in best conditions, relate to solidity of the
handle and placing of engine shut down device.
•Dangers caused by defect of machine control system, relate to solidity of the handle, placing
of drivers and marking.
•Dangers caused by tearing (of the chain) during running.
•Dangers caused by shooting up of subjects or splashing of liquids.
ELECTRICAL REqUIREMENTS
•Machine must be plugged into a wall outlet or socket of the voltage and current designated
on the label.
•Connect the device only on the plug with a protective device to prevent stray current (FI switch)
with a rated fault current of not more than 30 mA.
•Use only extension cords of a type approved for the application and with conductors of
adequate gauge.
•Conductor cross-section of extension cord grows in proportion to the length and power of the
connected equipment. Consult the selection of the cable with correct cross-section with an
expert in the field of electronics.
•Always use only one extension cord of required length.
•When working outdoors, use only extension cords that are approved and correspondingly
marked for this application.
•Cable drum before using completely unwind. Make sure the cord is not damaged.

•Place the power cord so that it will not interfere with work and to avoid damage.
•Keep cord from heat, corrosive liquids and sharp edges.
•When disconnecting the power plug do not pull the cord.
•If the service cabel is damaged, let it have changed in accredited service to prevent the danger
•Do not carry or manipulate the machine by service cabel, do not pull up the socket inlet from the socket
outlet by pulling the service cabel. Protect the service cable against heat, grease and sharp edges.
UNPACKING
•Carefully remove the product from the box.
•Carefully inspect all parts. If any part is damaged or missing, contact your dealer or authorized
service center.
•Do not throw away packaging materials until you have not reviewed carefully if they did not
remain a part of the product.
•Parts of the packaging (plastic bags, paper clips, etc.) do not leave within reach of children,
could be a possible source of danger. Do not let children play with plastic bags, foils or small
parts. There is a danger of swallowing or suffocating!
•Disposal must be made in accordance with the regulations in force in the country in which the
equipment was installed.
•Make sure that bags and containers of plastic material are left strewn freely in the environment
because they pollute it.
•If you have any doubt do not use the machine, but have it checked by an authorized service
center.

ASSEMBLY
ASSEMBLY OF THE SHREDDER
1. Turn the shredder upside down and pivot the legs up ward. (Fig. 1)
2. Pleace the supplied wheel axle (A) through the respective openings. (Fig. 1)
3. Put the supplied washer (B) adn sleeve (C) onto the wheel axle. (Fig. 2)
4. Please the wheels (D) and install nut hand tight (E). (Fig. 3)
5. Using the supplied hex wrench (F) to fix the wheel acle and at the same time firmly lock the
nut by using the wrench (G). (Fig. 4)

6. Finally, plece the wheel cover (H) in the center of the wheel. (Fig. 5)

1. Press down the lock button (A) and then insert the collection box into the undercarriage. (Fig.6)

OPERATION
COMMISSIONING
Ensure that the mains voltage agreed with the data on the nameplate.
Use an extension cord to connect your device (extension cord is not included).
ON/OFF
1. (3) connect the extension cable.
2. Place the rotation direction switch (11) to “indraft“position.
3. To turn on press ON button (10).
4. To turn off press OFF button (10.
ROTATION DIRECTION ADJUSTMENT
Place the rotation direction switch to “indraft“ position (continuous operation): material is
pulled in and shredded.
Place the rotation direction switch to “reverse“ position (tap operation): blocked shredded
material will be released.
DEBRIS BAG DISCHARGE
1. Switch off the machine.
2. Unlock the debris bag with safety switch (see 6/A) in „OFF“ position.
3. Pull debris bag out from the chassis and empty it.
4. Before sliding debris bag back onto the chassis, make sure that there are no wood chippings
around the safety switch.
5. Slide the debris bag onto the chassis and put the safety switch back to „ON“ position.
OVERLOADING PROTECTION
The device automatically switches off when the engine is overloaded, e.g. blocked roller with
thick branches.

RESTART
1. Let the engine cool down.
2. Press the momentary-contact pushbutton (see 8/A).
3. Switch the device back on.
THRUST PLATE ADJUSTMENT
Before the first operation or if the result of crushing is inefficient, the thrust plate must be set up
correctly. Conditioning of the new machines may require adjustment of thrust plate at shorter
intervals. You will recognize the time for adjusting the thrust plate when you see that crushed
material is only squashed and not separted properly.
1. Place the rotation direction switch to “indraft“ position.
2. Turn on the device.
3. Turn adjusting screw (9/A) clockwise until you hear friction. Thrust plate touches crushing
roller (12/B) and is seated correctly.
GENERAL WORK INSTRUCTION
•For safety reasons, the device cannot work without properly placed debris bag.
•Hold the branches till they are automatically pulled in.
•
Do not overload the machine, follow the roller work speed.
•To prevent clogging, rotate flaccid garden waste and the thinner branches with large branches.
•Before shredding, remove all remains of the roots of earth and stones.
•Do not shred soft and wet material, such as kitchen waste, but compost it directly.
•Keep a few dry branches until the end to be used as a cleaning device.
•
Switch the machine off after all material goes through. Otherwise the crushing roller may
become blocked.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
GENERAL CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE WORK
•Do not squirt the shredder by water.
•The device, wheels and ventilation slots always keep clean. Clean only with a brush or a soft
cloth and never use any solvents or cleaners.
•Before each use make sure that the device is not damaged, eventually protective equipment is
not damaged, and pay attention to the free and worn components.
•Check the firm tightening of all nuts, bolts and screws.
•Check covers and protective equipment for damage and correct position. Replace if necessary.
•Store the device in a dry place and away from children.
•Do not wrap the device in the non-breathable material as this could lead to moisture formation.
CLEARING A BLOCKAGE
1. Press the knob and unplug the mains plug. Turn the knob until the housing cover is released
and lift the housing cover.

2. Remove the objects blocking the shredder and clean the inside of the housing if necessary.
3. Close the housing cover and secure by tightening the knob.
