SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
This product is exclusively intended for the use:
- to mow the treated lawn of domestic garden.
- for private use i.e. for use in home and gardening environments. Private use of the lawn
mower refers an annual operating time generally not exceeding that of 50 working
hours, during which time the machine is primarily used to maintain small-scale,
residential lawns and home / hobby gardens. The machine is not intended for use in
public facilities, sporting halls, and agricultural/forestry applications.

As a result of the potential danger to the user, the lawn mower must not be used to trim bushes,
hedges and shrubs, to cut or shred climbing plants or lawns on roof gardens or in balcony boxes
or to clean footpaths, nor must it be used as a chopper for shredding tree or hedge cuttings.
Furthermore, the lawnmower must not be used as a cultivator or to level off uneven areas of
ground, e.g. molehills.
Mark the objects and fixed obstacles that can‘t be seen under the grass and can‘t be removed
(roots, stumps, stones, etc.). Keep the marked places at a sufficient distance so that the blade
can‘t come into contact with these objects and obstacles when working. For the same reason,
align small terrain inequalities (molehills, tyre grooves, dips, etc.) whereby the mower wheels
could fall into.

capacity or lack of experience and knowledge - unless they are under the supervision
of the person responsible for their safety or if this person has instructed how use this
product. The product is not intended for use by children and persons with reduced
mobility or poor physical disposition. We strongly recommend to pregnant women
to contact her doctor before use of this product.
• Respect national/local regulations regarding working time (please, contact your local
authority).

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/
or serious injury.
• Get to know this product. Carefully read the instruction manual. Learn how to use this
product, all restrictions, and what risks could related with its use. Learn the product quickly
stop and turn off the controls.
• Be careful at work, be concentrated on actual work, and use the common sense.
• If the product is not in use, it should be stored in a dry and secure place out of the reach of
children.
• Never pull the plug from the socket by pulling on the cord. Keep the supply cord away from
heat, grease and sharp edges.
• Disconnect the product from the power supply, if it is not in use, before start to repair and
if you need replace the accessories.
• Make sure when plugging into a socket that the switch is in “off” position.
• If the product is used outside, use only extension cord designed for outdoor use and marked
as such.
• Pay attention to what you are doing, be concentrated and think sensibly, do not work with
the product if you are tired, under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication.
• Faulty switches must be entrusted to an authorised repair service for replacement.
• Do not use this product if the main switch does not allow it to switch on or off.

The use of other accessories or attachments other than those specified in
the instructions for use, can cause injury.
• This product is designed in accordance with all applicable safety requirements and standards
applicable to it. All repairs should be only made by qualified person and spare parts replaced
by original parts, otherwise the user may be in serious danger.
PREPARATION
• Always wear work shoes and long trousers while working with the machine. Don’t operate
the machine barefoot or in open sandals. Don’t wear clothing that has loose parts or
hanging laces or neckties.
• Always use effective ear protection and safety goggles.
• Check the terrain where you are going to use the machine, and remove any objects that
could be caught, tangled, or discarded (stones, shards of glass, nails, wires, toys, sticks, etc.).
Operate the machine only on a safe surface.
• Prior to use, always check visually that the blades, blade bolts and blade assemblies aren’t
worn or damaged. Replace the entire set of worn or damaged parts to maintain balance.
Replace damaged or illegible labels.
• Prior to use, check the power supply and the extension lead for signs of damage or aging. If
the supply is damaged during use, unplug the power supply immediately. DO NOT TOUCH

THE SUPPLY BEFORE DISCONNECTING THE POWER. Don’t use the machine if the supply is
damaged or worn.
• Cable drum before using completely unwind.
• Use only extension cables with sufficient section, which are approved for this purpose and
labelled accordingly.
Note: I It is good to have the extension cable in a distinctive colour in order to not to overlook,
cross, cut through or trip over it.
OPERATION
CAUTION! A
This machine can sever hands and feet as well as throw objects. Failure to follow
the safety regulations can lead to severe injury.
• Only operate the machine in daylight or in good artificial light.
• Avoid using the machine on wet grass.
• Always make sure you have a steady stance on the slope.
• Always walk, never run.
• Work across the slope, never up and down.
• Move extremely cautiously if you change direction on the slope.
• Don’t operate the machine on slopes that are too steep.
• Take extra care if you are reversing or pulling the machine towards you.
• Stop the blade (blades) if the machine is to be tilted when passing over a surface other than
the lawn and when the machine is transported to or from the mowing site.
• Never operate a machine that has damaged protective covers or protectors or has no safety
devices, such as deflectors and/or collecting basket.
• Connect the engine carefully in accordance with the operating instructions and stay away
from the blade (blades).
• Don’t tilt the machine when the engine is being switched on, unless the machine has to be
tilted when starting. In this case, don’t tilt it more than necessary and only lift only the part
that is remote from the operator.
• Don’t run the machine when standing in front of the borehole.
• Don’t put your hands or feet near or below rotating parts. Never stand in front of the borehole.
• Don’t carry the machine while the engine is running.
• Before using the machine, always check, that all start inhibits and controls requiring operator
presence, are fully functional (eg. safety lever of engine stop).
• For safety reasons, the machine may not be used as a drive unit for other work tools or tool
kits of any kind.
• Be careful when using the lawnmower near verges, ditches, or banks. Machine can suddenly
turn over if a wheel is over the edge of a cliff or ditch, or if an edge caves in.
• The lawnmower shall not be operated without either the entire grass catcher or self-closing
discharge opening guard in place. Keep away from the ejection hole at all times.
• Always keep the grass ejection hole clean and clear. Remove cut material only when
the equipment is stopped.
• The safety distance produced by the long handle must be maintained at all times.
• Do not leave the equipment unattended in the workplace.

• Stop the machine and disconnect the plug from the socket (and remove the locking device
if installed). Make sure that all moving parts have completely stopped.
- whenever you leave the machine,
- before cleaning a clogged channel,
- before checking, cleaning or working on the machine,
- after passing over a foreign object. Make sure that the machine isn’t damaged and
repair it before restarting and operating;
• If the machine starts to vibrate excessively (check immediately)
- look for damage,
- replace or repair any damaged parts,
- check that all loose parts are tightened.
PERSONAL PROTECTION AND FIRST AID
Note: I We recommend always having:
- A suitable fire extinguisher (snow, powder, halotron) at your disposal.
- A fully equipped first-aid kit, easily accessible for accompaniment and operator.
- Mobile phone or other device for quickly calling emergency services.
-Accompaniment familiar with the principles of first aid.
CAccompaniment must keep a safe distance from the workplace while always seeing
you!
• Always follow the principles of first aid in case of any injuries.
• If there is a cut, cover the wound with a clean bandage (fabric) and press down firmly to
stop the bleeding.
• If the skin is burnt, avoid further exposure to the source of burns first. Cool the injured areas
of smaller extend with water of preferably about 4-8 °C. Do not put ointments, creams or
dusting powders on the affected area. The best way is to use a wet compress, for example
a handkerchief or a towel. Then secure the sterile cover and, if necessary, seek medical
attention.
• If persons with circulatory problems are often exposed to excessive vibration, they
may experience injury to blood vessels or their nervous system. The vibrations may cause
the following symptoms appear on fingers, hands or wrists: numbness, itching, pain,
tingling, changes in skin colour or of the skin itself. If any of these symptoms occur, consult
a doctor.
• When an electric shock is caused, it is necessary more than anywhere else to put emphasis
on safety and risk elimination for the rescuers. The affected person usually stays in contact
with electrical equipment (source of injury) because of muscle spasms caused by the electric
shock. Traumatic process continues in this case. It is therefore necessary to TURN THE
POWER OFF FIRST using any possible way. Subsequently CALL AN AMBULANCE or other
professional service, and then PROVIDE FIRST AID! Ensure free airways, check breathing,
check pulse, put the affected flat on their back, bend their head and stick out their lower
jaw. If necessary, begin with artificial respiration into the lungs and heart massage.
IN CASE OF FIRE:
• If the motor starts to burn or it the smoke appears from it, turn the product off, disconnect
power supply and move away to safety.
• To extinguish the fire, use suitable fire extinguisher (CO2, Dry Powder, halotron).
• DO NOT PANIC. Panic can cause even more damage.
