6. Do not operateany productwith a damaged cord orplug, or after the product malfunctions,
or is dropped orappears damaged in any way. Ifthe supplycord isdamaged, it must be
replacedby the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to
avoid a hazard.
7. Before unplugging the power cord, be sure to turn the power off. When touching the unit,
be sure your hands are dry to prevent electrical shock.
8. Ensure the cord is fully extended before use and arrange it so that it is not in contact with
any part of the heater.
9. In use, some parts ofthe heater are hot. When moving,hold the heater only by the handle
provided.
10. Do not use the heater in areas such as garages where petrol, paint or other flammable
substances are used or stored.
11. Do not use near or point theheater tofurniture,animals, curtains or other inflammable
objects. Keep combustible materials such as furniture, bedding and any other combustible
materials at least 1 metre from thefrontand sides, and fromthe rearof the heater.
12. Do not place the cordundercarpetor cover with throw rugs orfurniture.Arrange the cord
so that it cannotbe trippedover.
13. Do not place the heater on bedding or on thick and long pile carpet where the openings
may be blocked.
14. To reduce the risk ofelectric shock, donot immerse or expose the productor flexible cord
to rain, moisture or anyliquid other than those necessary for correct operation of the
product.
