BEFORE FIRST USE:
Read and follow all the instructions in this “User Manual” even if you feel you are familiar with the
product, and find a place tokeep it handy for future reference.
Your attention is drawn particularly to the sections concerning “IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS” and “FOR
YOUR SAFETY".
For your convenience record the complete model number (located on the product identification plate)
and the date you received the product, together with your purchase receipt and attach to the warranty
and service information. Retain in theevent that warranty service is required.
NOTE: The rating of this product (as marked on the product identification plate) is based on specific
loading tests. Normal use or the use of other recommended attachments may draw significantly less
power.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS:
When using any electrically powered product, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including
the following:
WARNING - to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or injury to persons or property:
1. Please read andsave these instructions for futurereference, and before using the heater.
2. Extreme caution is necessary when the heater is used by, or near children, invalids or animals.
3. Always disconnect the heater when it is not in use, byswitching to power ‘off’and removingthe plug
from the outlet.
4. Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord orplug,or if the heater hasbeendropped or damaged
in any manner. Return the heater to an authorizedservice facility for examination, electrical or
mechanical adjustment, or repair.
5. Do not use outdoors.
6. Do not place theheater whereit may come into direct contact, or become immersed with any liquid.The
minimum distance the heateris to bekept from a bath orshower is 0.6 metres.
7. Do not run the cordunder carpeting or cover the cord with rugs, runners, orthe like.Arrange the cord so
it will be away from traffic areas, and where it will not be tripped over.
8. Do not use in areas where petrol, paints, aerosols, orother flammable substances are used or stored.
9. Use this heateronly as described in the instructionmanual.Any other use is notrecommended by the
manufacturer, as it may cause fire, electric shock, or injury and will void all warranties.
10. This heater is notintended for use with an extension cord. Plug the cord directly into an appropriate wall
outlet.
11. This applianceis intended only for drying textiles washedin water.
12. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they donot play with the heater.
13. Ensure that the heater is fully disconnected and cooled down, beforecleaning or storing.
14. The appliance is not to be used by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or
instruction.
CAUTION:
•This heater only operates in an uprightposition
•Store the heater in a cool dry place, when not in use.
•Do not clean, orstore until the heater has completed cooleddown.
•If this appliance is supplied from a cord extension, or portable outlet device, ensure that such devices
are positioned sothat it is not subject tosplashing or wateringress of moisture.

HOW TO OPERATE:
Please read these instructions carefully before operating.
1. Carefully remove the heater from its carton and plastic packaging, and remove all promotional
labels, and unwind the cordto its full length.
2. To attach the foot base to the appliance, align the plastic mounting bracket to the towel rail, so
that the bracket fits evenly over the assembly point.
3. Place the foot into the recessof the bracket.Align all holes and secure into position with the nut
provided.
4. Repeat the process for thesecond foot.
5. Refer to the figure below:
6. On completion of installation, ensure the switch is in ‘0’ position (power off) before plugging in
the power cord.
7. Once the heater is in a stable and suitable position and plugged in, press the switch to ‘1’
(power on) and you can start using your new appliance.
8. It is recommended that the heater is switched off ‘0’after each use.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE:
•Always turn off and unplug the heater before cleaning, and ensure that it is completely cooled
down.
•Do not useabrasive cleaning productson this appliance.
•To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the appliance with water and do not immerse in
water or any other liquid.
•Clean with a damp, lint-free cloth
•When the heater is not in use, store in a cool, clean, dry location, preferably in the original box
for the best protection.
FOR YOUR SAFETY:
•Do not operate the product with a damaged cord orplug, or after the product malfunctions,or is
dropped or appears damaged in any way.
•Switch off and unplug from outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts
and before cleaning. Remove by grasping the plug – do not pull on the cord.
SERVICE:
•The appliance has no user serviceable parts. In the event that it is dropped or damaged in any
way, or fails to operate it should be returned to the place of purchase, together with your
purchase receipt or the address below for repair or replacement.
