Please read these instructions and retain for future use.
All products manufactured and supplied by Heritage are safe, provided they are installed correctly, used
correctly, and receive regular maintenance in accordance with these instructions.
If you are in any doubt about your ability to install this product safely you must employ the services of an
competent person who has experience of tting products of this nature.
⚠ Before starting any installation project please consider the following:
• Prior to drilling into walls, check there are no hidden electrical wires or cables or water supply
pipes with the aid of an electrical detector.
• If you use power tools do not forget PPE:
- Wear eye protection.
- Unplug equipment after use.
• Keep electrical equipment away from sources of water.
• This product must not be modied in any way as this will invalidate the guarantee.
• These ttings need to be installed in accordance with and meet the requirements of the Water
Supply regulations 1999 (Water Fittings) and current by-laws.

SPECIFICATION
OPERATING PRESSURE RANGE (BAR): TSBC04 - Min 0.3 bar, Max 5.0 bar
TSBC05 - Min 1.0 bar, Max 5.0 bar
MAXIMUM STATIC PRESSURE (BAR): 10 bar
INLET WATER TEMPERATURE RANGE: Cold - Min 5°C, Max 25°C
Hot - Max 65°C
BS 6700 recommends the temperature of stored water should never exceed 65C. A stored water
temperature of 60C is considered sufcient to meet all nominal requirements and will minimise the build up
of limescale in hard water areas.
INLET CONNECTIONS: 1/2” BSP Flexible Tails
Note: When installing exible tails screw in by hand, DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. Also ensure that there are
no kinks, twists or loops in the exible tails when connecting to prevent water supply issues.

INSTALLATION

Screw the exible
tails and xing kit
rod into the
tap body.
DO NOT
OVERTIGHTEN.
Connect the hot and
cold water supplies.
Ensure that there
are no kinks, twists
or loops in the
exible tails when
connecting to
prevent water
supply issues.
Secure the plinth to the tap body using the
hex key provided.
Ensuring the washer is in place,
feed the tap body through the hole in the basin
or bidet. Secure the basin mixer/bidet in place.

Place the second
rubber washer
under the basin,
and secure the
waste body in
place with
the backnut.

Fit the waste body to the basin/
bidet, ensuring the rubber
washer is in place.
Connect the
waste pipework.
Turn on the water
supply and check
all joints and
connections
for leaks.

OPERATION
CARING FOR YOUR PRODUCT
Heritage products are made from premium materials with hand polishing and electroplated nishes.
Your product should be regularly cleaned with warm water, a mild pH-neutral liquid soap, and
polished with a soft cloth. Any residues from soap, toiletries etc should be rinsed off straight after use.
Household bleaches and cleaners contain harsh chemicals and may damage the surface nish. Avoid using
abrasive cloths, scouring pads, scrub sponges, steel wool or anything similar.
Some surfaces such as nickel and pewter may be affected by the dye found in some cloths so it is also
important to avoid hanging cloths on spouts.

MAINTENANCE
Cartridge Cleaning

Isolate the
water supply.
Remove the
handle using
the hex key
provided.
Reverse the steps to
replace the cartridge.
Place cartridge in a suitable
solution and soak until
fully de-scaled.
Unscrew
the shroud
and remove the
retaining nut
using a suitable
spanner.
Remove the
cartridge.

Replace the Outlet

Isolate the water
supply. Prise the
ow aerator from
the tap body using
a suitable tool.
Using a WRAS approved glue, place the new
aerator inside the gap ensuring no glue
covers the outlet holes.
Once cured, turn on the water supply
and test for any leaks.
Isolate the water supply.
Unscrew the ow straightener from the
housing to remove outlet.

Place the outlet in a suitable solution and
soak until fully de-scaled. Reverse the steps
to replace the cartridge.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom Cause Remedy
No ow or
low ow
rate
Partially closed isolation valve. Open isolation valve.
Instantaneous water heater cycles on and
off as ow rate or pressure is too low.
Increase water ow rate or pressure
through system.
Head of water is below the
minimum distance required.
Refer to specication for minimum distance
required.
Hot or cold water being drawn off
elsewhere causing pressure changes or
instantaneous boiler temperature
changes.
Do not use other water outlets when using
the taps.
Airlock or partial blockage in the supply
pipework.
Flush through pipework to ensure removal
of debris and any airlocks.
Water
dripping
from taps
This is normal for a short time after using
the taps.
This is caused by residual water tension, the
build up of water in the tap body.
If water continues to drip,
possibly due to the ceramic disc valves
Remove valves and clean, refer to
'Maintenance' section before starting any
maintenance.
Taps
do not
turn on
Closed isolation valve. Open isolation valve.
Mains water supply turned off. Turn on mains water supply.
