NP-SG318LT-F Walk-through Temperature Detector
Installation and Configuration Guide
1、open package
Open package and check if all item are there as following picture shows
2、fix thermal dome and bracket
Remove trim from dome and fix dome on the bracket with 3 screws, then put the trim back

3 connect left and right door panel
Connect left and right door panel and tighten the screw
After fixing door panel, connect the cable. Right side will be power cable and signal cable, the left
side will be signal cable only. Pay attention to the left and right sign and do not make mistake

4 fix thermal dome on the metal detector
Fix dome bracket on the metal detector with 4 screws as the following picture shows

5 connect cable of thermal dome
Connect power cable, RS485 cable and network cable with sequence

6 Program thermal dome
Use SADP tool to activate device and type in IP address on web page to log in the device
Choose ‘body thermometry –basic settings-target thermometry parameters’, set emissivity as
0.98 and distance as 2m, and click save
Select body thermometry configuration to do alarm configuration. The alarm temperature should
consider actual situation, here we set 37.5℃as alarm temperature and 37℃as pre-alarm
temperature

7 Test effect
Put the metal detector on, power on and it will do self-checking. After self-checking it is ready to
work
If temperature is over threshold, the screen will display real time temperature and warning light
will be on and buzzer will be triggered

A appendix：how to disable metal detection function
If you want to disable metal detection alarm , you need to set sensitivity of all areas to 0.
Use touch screen to set as the following picture shows
1.click ‘sensitivity’
2.log in with account 000000
3. use“-”to set sensitivity of all area to 0
