1. Overview
About this document
This document describes the Wi-Fi network configuration process of AC Cloud Control
devices using Bluetooth. It also contains description of device´s toggle button
functionalities and the meaning of the AC Cloud Control LED colors.
About the solution
AC Cloud Control is the perfect IoT solution for professional AC management. It has
been developed with the collaboration of the main AC manufacturers enabling the
control of any domestic, commercial or VRF unit from a mobile application or from any
web browser.
AC Cloud Control system offers many functionalities, for that reason is considered the
suitable solution to control offices, stores, schools, or any other commercial building.

Preparing for configuration
Before starting, be sure you have everything you need for configuration:
•AC Cloud Control device
Also named AC Cloud Control throughout this document.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you have the proper AC Cloud Control. It depends on the Indoor Unit
model. Check the compatibility tool.

•Access point
AC Cloud Control supports 2.4GHz band and 802.11 b/g or /n mode.
•Smart device
Android and iOS operative systems are supported.
•AC Cloud Control App
Download and install in your smart device.
After enabling the Bluetooth on the smart device, get it close to the Access Point and
AC Cloud Control to start the configuration.

IMPORTANT: Beware of the signal strength, if you cannot get more than two
connectivity lines get the smart device closer to the router. A bad signal quality
might lead to AC Cloud Control´s intermittent disconnections.

3. Selecting an AC Cloud Control device
There are two ways to start the configuration of an AC Cloud Control:
a) If you are not logged into the App:Tap on Device configuration on the App main
screen.

b) If you already logged in: Go to settings and select the AC Cloud Control+ icon.

The App will show instructions to prepare for configuration. It is important for you to
confirm that the device is in configuration mode (LED steady green).
Then, select Bluetooth.

AC Cloud Control devices are shown in the SCANNED list, select the one to configure.
Important: This configuration guide applies to AC Cloud Control with order code
INWIFIXXX001R1XX. In case the order code is different, refer to
Device
Configuration manual.

In case you are not sure which AC Cloud Control you are linking, check the last 6 digits
of the MAC address, then select the correct one to proceed.

Accept the Bluetooth paring request.
When having multiple AC Cloud Control on the installation, there is an easy way to
recognize them. Tap on Identify INTESIS_XXXXXX

. The LED will start blinking white
and a message will pop-up.

Being XXXXXX the last 6 digits of AC Cloud Control´s MAC address.
Important: In case the Bluetooth is disabled a message will pop-up asking to enable it.

4. Connection to the Wi-Fi network
There are different options to link AC Cloud Control to a Wi-Fi network:

Select the Wi-Fi network SSID from the list to link AC Cloud Control, fill-in the
password and Connect.
AC Cloud Control will perform a connection sequence with the cloud server and
depending on the communication phase, the LED will blink accordingly:

If any error occurs during the configuration, the LED will start blinking. To understand what
the problem could be, check the LED color code table in section 5.
Important: If the LED turns off, the configuration process is completed and successful.

Manual
Select Manual,type the Wi-Fi network’s SSID and Connect.
In case you are using Security WEP/WAP2 or Host Static IP, fill-in the mandatory
information before to Connect.

AC Cloud Control will perform a connection sequence with the cloud server and
depending on the communication phase, the LED will blink accordingly. See Figure
18 for more details.

Important: If the LED turns off, the configuration process is completed and successful.
If it doesn’t turn off, check the LED color code table in section 5 for more details.

WPS
The device can be configured using WPS by selecting WPS option and Connect.
AC Cloud Control can be set on WPS mode using the device´s toggle button as
described in the Shortcuts section.
The LED will start blinking blue for two minutes, during that time you must press the
WPS button on your access point.

AC Cloud Control will perform a connection sequence with the cloud server and

Scan a Wi-Fi network QR code
Tap on Scan Wi-Fi network QR and point your smart device’s camera to the QR code.
Beware that you must scan a QR code generated with the correct access credentials,
otherwise the Wi-Fi access will not be granted.

AC Cloud Control will perform a connection sequence with the cloud server and
depending on the communication phase, the LED will blink accordingly. See Figure
18 for more details.
Advanced Configuration
AC Cloud Control can be configured in 3 different RF Modes:
•USA: 2412 –2462 MHz (11 channels)
•Europe: 2412 –2472 MHz (13 channels)
•Japan: 2412 –2484 MHz (14 channels)
The factory settings are set to work in the most restrictive mode, USA: 2412 –2462
MHz. Therefore, if the user doesn’t change any of these parameters, AC Cloud Control
is compliant with the most restrictive RF regulations.
Tap on Advanced configuration to select the domain region where the AC Cloud
Control is located, select the Region and Save.

A warning will pop-up informing possible issues when selecting the wrong domain
region.

5. LED color code
AC Cloud Control uses the LED to provide feedback about its status and possible errors.

6. Shortcuts
AC Cloud Control’s toggle button enables a short and easy configuration or
troubleshooting.
Reset Wi-Fi settings or enabling configuration mode
Press and hold the button for 10 seconds, then release it. The LED will start blinking
green, after 10 seconds it will turn steady green, meaning the process is completed and
the AC Cloud Control is in configuration mode.

WPS mode activation
Check your AC Cloud Control is in configuration mode (steady green LED).
Press the toggle button, the LED will start blinking blue.
Clean AC Cloud Control devices list, when using the Android App
When using Android smart devices, once an AC Cloud Control is paired, it will always
appear in the Connected devices list. Having several AC Cloud control devices listed,
will make hard to identify a specific one.
If you want to clean it, go to the smart device’s Bluetooth settings, and forget AC Cloud
Control device.
