◆TWO SETS CONNECTION
1. How to connect two sets of MARS T1000 systems?
A: If two base stations are close enough, one may use a customized RJ45 cable to connect them. If one
tends to extend the transmission range of the two sets of MARS T1000, connect two base stations via a long
RJ45/Ethernet cable plus a cable converter to extend the range for another 100 meters.

2. How to cusomize the RJ45 connection cable?
A: The customized RJ45 cable requires specific definition of pin order and color as shown below. One side
is the common T568B, while the other side requires the specific pin order and color.

◆PAIRING & ID SELECTION
1. How to change the ID for a beltpack?
•Go to the menu on the base station by long-pressing the middle button
•Select “System” -“ Reset”
•Choose a new ID for the beltpack.
Note: after resetting, all beltpacks will need to be re-paired with the base station.

1. How to pair a beltpack with the base station?
•Connect the beltpack to the station via the USB interface
•Long-press the middle button on the beltpack
•Choose “Pair” and select an ID for the beltpack
◆NOISE
1. Why there are noises in the headsets for both the beltpack and the base station? How to
solve it?
A: It is because the headset is not plugged in correctly. Plug the headset in again.
2. How to decrease the noise under a quiet environment?
A: Go to the menu of the base station or the beltpack by long-pressing the middle button. Select the
“Quiet” mode under “Application”.

1. What settings should I change under a noisy environment?
A: Go to the menu of the base station or the beltpack by long-pressing the middle button. Select the
“Noisy” mode under “Application”.
2. How to increase the volume of the microphone?
A: Go to the menu of the base station or the beltpack by long-pressing the middle button. Select “Mic
Gain” under “Mic Options”.
◆VOLUME
3. Why the volume of the headset is still low after increasing the mic gain and adjusting the
application?
A: The standard headset is the directional dynamic mic to avoid the noise going into the mic. Make
following changes:
•Put blue dot towards the mouse
•Keep the distance between the mouse and the mic within 5cm
◆VOLUME
4. Why beltpck could not be heard by other beltpacks?
•Check if the beltpack’s OLCD shows MUTE. The beltpack is on MUTE status by default after powering
on. Long-press the side button of the beltpack to TALK status.
•Check if the headset is plugged well.
•Check if the type of the mic is correctly selected. Select Dynamic for the standard mic, and select
Electret for mobile headphones or other headsets.
