Installation
Installing the Batteries
1. Open the battery cover located at the back
of the main unit and outdoor sensor
2. Insert batteries in both units as per the Tech Specs
3. On the Outdoor Sensor, push the inside
black switch from OFF to ON, and check
that the red LED light flashes. This indicates
the unit is working correctly and will flash
every minute to signal radio frequency (RF)
transmission to the Indoor Display Console
4. Close the battery cover
5. This process takes about 3 min. If successful, the
display will show weather data. In case of failure,
press ALARM for more than 3 sec to try again
Every time the batteries are replaced, the
Indoor Display Console will lose all weather data
and the Outdoor Sensor will have to resynchronise
If there is no RF connection between
Indoor Display Console and
Outdoor Sensor, you must press ALARM for more
than 3 sec to resynchronise
Mounting the Indoor Display Console
The Indoor Display Console can be
stood onto any flat surface or wall mounted
with the mounting hole on the back
Be sure to check that the radio signal
can be received before mounting
Mounting the Outdoor Sensor
For accurate results, the mounting pole should be securely
mounted onto a horizontal surface, at least 1m above the ground,
in an open area away from trees and other coverings
Take care not to let wind sensor parts carry the whole
weight of the sensor while mounting
There is marks N, E, S, Won the shaft of the wind
sensor. Ensure Nis pointing North
Try to set up the Indoor Display Console and
Outdoor Sensor in an open area, avoiding as many concrete walls
as possible, as they will shorten the transmission distance
Use the spirit level to ensure the Outdoor Sensor is horizontally balanced
Fix the mounting pole as shown, ensuring the depth
under the surface is roughly 60mm

Setup
Time and Measurement Format Setup
1. Press and hold MODE for 3 sec
2. 12/24 hour time format will flash. Use
+ /− to select. Press MODE to confirm
3. DM/MD date format will flash. Use + /−
to select. Press MODE to confirm
4. Display for the year will flash. Use + /−
to set. Press MODE to confirm
5. Display for the month will flash. Use
+ /− to set. Press MODE to confirm
6. Display for the date will flash. Use + /−
to set. Press MODE to confirm
7. Display for the hour will flash. Use + /−
to set. Press MODE to confirm
8. Display for the minutes will flash. Use
+ /− to set. Press MODE to confirm
9. °C/°F temperature format will flash. Use
+ /− to select. Press MODE to confirm
10. hPa/inHg air pressure format will flash. Use
+ /− to select. Press MODE to confirm
11. mm/in for rainfall and km/h/mph for
wind speed flashing. Use + /− to
select. Press MODE to confirm
The clock automatically changes from setup mode to
time display mode if no keys are pressed for 20sec
Daily alarm set-up
1. Press MODE to switch from time
display to A1 display
2. Press and hold MODE for 3 seconds until
flashing alarm times are shown
3. Display for alarm hour will flash. Use
+ /− to set. Press MODE to confirm
4. Display for alarm minutes will flash. Use
+ /− to set. Press MODE to confirm
5. Repeat these steps for A2
Daily Alarm On/Off
1. Press ALARM once to activate A1
2. Press ALARM twice to cancel A1 and activate
the A2 with the alarm symbol showing
3. Press ALARM three times to activate both
A1 and A2 with alarm symbol showing
4. Press ALARM four times to cancel all alarms
The clock automatically changes from setup mode
to time mode if no keys are pressed for 20 sec
Alarm sounds for 2 min if no key is pressed to stop it
Snooze Function
1. Press SNOOZE/LIGHT, while alarm
sounds to activate snooze
2. If the snooze is activated, alarm symbol will flashing
3. The alarm will repeat after 5 min
4. Snooze can be stopped by pressing any key
Temperature and Humidity
1. Press +to display indoor/outdoor
max/min of temperature and humidity
2. Hold +for more than 3 sec to clear max/min
Follow the flat, up/down arrows for the
trend of the temperature and humidity
Weather Forecast
As weather is forecast by barometer
only, display may have discrepancy with
the actual weather on occasion
Air pressure can be in hPa and
inHg with 12 hour history

Air Pressure and Weather Icons
1. Air pressure reading can be adjusted by
holding SNOOZE/LIGHT for 3 seconds
2. Altitude will flash; use + /− to set
3. Press SNOOZE/LIGHT again
4. Weather icon will be flash; use + /− to set
5. Press SNOOZE/LIGHT to confirm
Wind Direction
There is 16 possible wind
directions, updated every minute
Rainfall Display (0~999.99mm)
1. Press −to show the rainfall TODAY, press
again YESTERDAY, and again for TOTAL
2. In any of the above display options,
press −for more than 3 sec to delete
the rainfall data accordingly
3. The max rainfall volume is 999.99mm (99.99inch).
At the maximum, the display will flash
4. This data needs to be deleted by
hand to be able to continue updating
Illumination
Press SNOOZE/LIGHT to illuminate the display
Moon Phase
The weather station uses saved
data to show the moon phase
Living Space humidity
The weather station uses saved data to
determine the humidity in the living space
and shows the respective symbols:
 DRY:
Humidity below 40%, any temperature
 COMFORTABLE:
Humidity 40~70%, temperature at 20~28°C
 WET:
Humidity 70~90%, any temperature
Low Battery Condition Display
The weather station displays the low battery
condition symbol to show you that the batteries
of either the Indoor Display Console or the
Outdoor Sensor need to be replaced

RF Connection to Outdoor sensor
Press and hold ALARM for 3 sec to
search for Outdoor Sensor
The RF light on the Outdoor Sensor
will flash when trying to connect
RF reception is weaker in rooms with concrete
walls and in office buildings; the distance will be
shorter due to interference. For extreme cases,
put the Indoor Display Console near a window
Install both units as close as possible to each other
Try and avoid outside interference by not placing
them near computers, TVs, aerials, etc.
If the connection is successful initially but later fails
occasionally, try to reduce the distance between the
Indoor Display Console and the Outdoor Sensor

Warranty
2 Year Replacement Guarantee
Holman offers a 2 year replacement guarantee with this product.
In Australia our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer
Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other
reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced
if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
As well as your statutory rights referred to above and any other rights and remedies you have under
any other laws relating to your Holman product, we also provide you with a Holman guarantee.
Holman guarantees this product against defects caused by faulty workmanship and materials for
2 years domestic use from the date of purchase. During this guarantee period Holman will replace
any defective product. Packaging and instructions may not be replaced unless faulty.
In the event of a product being replaced during the guarantee period, the guarantee on the replacement product
will expire 2 years from the purchase date of the original product, not 2 years from the date of replacement.
To the extent permitted by law, this Holman Replacement Guarantee excludes liability for consequential
loss or any other loss or damage caused to property of persons arising from any cause whatsoever. It also
excludes defects caused by the product not being used in accordance with instructions, accidental damage,
misuse, or being tampered with by unauthorised persons, excludes normal wear and tear and does not cover
the cost of claiming under the warranty or transporting the goods to and from the place of purchase.
