b Thecompliance levels in the ISMfrequency bands between 150 kHz
and 80 MHz and in thefrequency range 80 MHz
to
2,7
GHz
are intended
to
decreasethe likelihoodthat mobile/portable communications
equipmentcould cause interference ifitis inadvertently
brought
into
patientareas. Forthis reason,an additional factor
of
10/3
has
been
incorporated intotheformula used in calculating the recommended
separation distance
for
transmitters in thesefrequency ranges.
c Field strengthsfrom fixed transmitters, such
as

stationsfor radio
(cellular/cordless) telephones and land mobile radios, amateurradio,
AM and
FM
radio broadcast
and
TV broadcastcannot be predicted
theoreticallywith accuracy.To assesstheelectromagneticenvironment
due
to
fixed RFtransmitters, an electromagnetic site survey should
beconsidered. Ifthe measuredfield strength inthe location in which
theModel PG-IRT1603 Infrared Thermometeris used exceeds
theapplicable RF compliance level above, the Model PG-IRT1603
Infrared Thermometershould be observed
to
verify normal operation.
Ifabnormal performance is observed, additional measures may
be
necessary, such as re-orienting
or
relocating the Model
PG

Infrared Thermometer.
d Overthefrequency range 150 kHz

be lessthan 3 V/m.
