1. Sicherheitshinweise
Lesen Sie diese Anleitung sorgfältig und vollständig durch, bevor Sie das Gerät
installieren und in Betrieb nehmen. Sie erhalten wichtige Hinweise zur Programmierung
und Bedienung.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur
- bestimmungsgemäß und
- in technisch einwandfreiem und ordnungsgemäß eingebautem Zustand
- gemäß den technischen Daten.
Der Hersteller haftet nicht für Schäden, die durch einen bestimmungswidrigen Gebrauch
verursacht wurden.
Bewahren Sie ihre Programmierkarten an einem sicheren Ort auf, um Manipulationen
der Zutrittsrechte zu verhindern.
Installation, Wartungs- und Reparaturarbeiten dürfen nur durch autorisiertes
Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden.
Löt- und Anschlussarbeiten sind nur im spannungslosen Zustand vorzunehmen.
Lötarbeiten dürfen nur mit einem temperaturgeregelten, vom Netz galvanisch
getrennten Lötkolben ausgeführt werden.
VDE-Sicherheitsvorschriften sowie die Vorschriften des örtlichen EVU beachten.
Gefahr: Das Gerät darf nicht in explosionsgefährdeten Räumen, oder in
Räumen mit metall- und kunststoffzersetzenden Dämpfen eingesetzt
werden.
Entsorgung: Die Verpackung ist aus folgenden wiederverwertbaren Stoffen
hergestellt: Pappe, Polystyrol PS, Polyäthylen PE.

2. Anwendungen / Funktionen
lDas ACC 50 kontrolliert und überwacht den Zutritt einer Tür.
lBei Benutzung einer berechtigten ID-Karte wird der Türöffner freigegeben und die
dazugehörige Tür kann geöffnet werden. Die Freigabezeit richtet sich nach der Einstellung
der DIP-Schalter.
lAußerdem übernimmt das ACC 50 die Türüberwachung. Bei Einsatz eines Türöffners mit
Rückmeldekontakt meldet dieser, ob die Tür geöffnet oder geschlossen ist. Nach Ablauf
der eingestellten Überwachungszeit kann das ACC 50 an einer Einbruchmeldeanlage oder
durch einen Alarmgeber (Signallampe, Blitzsignal, Sirene etc.) mittels Schließkontakt
einenAlarmauslösen.
lEin externer Türöffnertaster, der sich im gesicherten Bereich befindet, ermöglicht ein
manuelles Freigeben der Tür.
lDurch den Anschluss einer externen Zeitschaltuhr lassen sich 2 Zeitbereiche definieren,
denen die ID-Karten zugeordnet werden können.
Beispiel: Zeitzone "A" = 07:00 Uhr ... 19:00 Uhr = Schalter geöffnet
Zeitzone "B" = 19:00 Uhr ... 07:00 Uhr = Schalter geschlossen
Je nach Zuordnung erhalten bestimmte Personen nur in Zeitzone "A", nur in Zeitzone "B"
oder in beiden Zeitzonen Zutritt.
lDie Programmierung des ACC 50 erfolgt durch den Programmierkartensatz. Bei der
Programmierung des Programmierkartensatzes speichert das ACC 50 die Nummer der
Programmierkarten einmalig ab. Danach sind andere Programmierkarten nicht mehr
berechtigt, d.h. andere Kartensätze werden abgewiesen.
3. Handling der ID-Karten
Die Karten werden sicher und eindeutig erkannt, vorausgesetzt die Entfernung zum ACC 50 wird
nicht überschritten. Der Empfangsteil des ACC 50 liegt im oberen Drittel. Der optimale Kartenabstand
beträgt 5-10 cm, wobei die Karte möglichst parallel zum Gerät gehalten werden soll. Um ein sicheres
Lesen der Karte zu erreichen, genügt bereits ein Vorbeiziehen amACC 50.
Prinzip der berührungslosen Karten:
Das Innenleben der Karte besteht aus einem Schwingkreis und einem Mikro-Chip, der den
gespeicherten Code der Karte trägt. Das ACC 50 strahlt ein schwaches elektromagnetisches Feld
ab, das in Resonanz mit dem Schwingkreis der Karte ist. Die Karte moduliert jetzt die
Empfangsfrequenz mit ihrem Bit-Muster, das vomACC 50 empfangen wird.
Sämtliche berührungslosen Karten unseres Unternehmens sind Unikate. Jede existierende Karte
besitzt eine andere Dateninformation.

4. Bedeutung des Programmierkartensatzes
Der Programmierkartensatz besteht aus 3 Karten:
RESET-Karte PROGRAM-Karte CLEAR-Karte
Mit diesen Karten können Sie in den jeweiligen Modus des ACC 50 wechseln. Der
Programmierkartensatz wird vom Errichter programmiert.
RESET-Karte:
Achtung! Löscht den Datenspeicher komplett und bringt das ACC 50 in den
Grundzustand! Anwendung nur bei Erstinbetriebnahmne oder wenn alle ID-Karten
gelöscht werden sollen.
PROGRAM-Karte:
Das ACC 50 schaltet in den Programmiermodus. Es werden alle nachfolgend eingelesenen ID-
Karten in Abhängigkeit des Eingangs "Zeitschaltuhr" berechtigt.
braun-schwarz geöffnet = Zeitzone "A"
braun-schwarz geschlossen = Zeitzone "B"
CLEAR-Karte:
Das ACC 50 schaltet in den Sperrmodus. Im Sperrmodus können bisher berechtigte ID-Karten
gesperrt werden. Alle nachfolgend eingelesenen Karten werden im ACC 50 gesperrt.
Zu beachten ist dabei die zugehörige Zeitzone "A" und "B".

Nach Veränderungen der DIP-Schalter muß kurz die Betriebsspannung unterbrochen werden, da
das ACC 50 die DIP-Schalterstellung nur nach Anlegen der Betriebsspannung einliest.

5. Einstellung der DIP-Schalter
DIP-Schalter 1-2
Mit den DIP-Schaltern 1-2 kann gewählt werden, wie lange das Türöffner-Relais angezogen bleibt,
nach dem eine berechtigte Karte gelesen wurde bzw. der externe Türöffnertaster betätigt wurde.
DIP-Schalter 3-4
Mit den DIP-Schaltern 3-4 wird die Überwachungszeit eingestellt. Ist nach Ablauf der
Überwachungszeit der Rückmeldekontakt noch geöffnet, wird das Alarmrelais angesteuert.
Soll der Rückmeldekontakt nicht ausgewertet werden, so wählen Sie die Stellung "keine".
DIP-Schalter 5-8
Die DIP-Schalter 5-8 müssen auf "0" stehen.

Die Zutrittsrechte können auf zwei Zeitzonen verteilt werden.
Im obigen Beispiel ist die Karte 1 nur in der Zeitzone A und die Karte 2 ist nur in Zeitzone B berechtigt.
Die Karte 3 ist dagegen in beiden Zeitzonen berechtigt.
Das ACC 50 legt beim Berechtigen einer Karte diese in dem Zeitzonenspeicher ab, der momentan
durch die Schalterstellung ausgewählt ist.
Eine Karte, die in beiden Zeitzonen berechtigt sein soll, muss folglich zweimal berechtigt werden,
nämlich bei offenem und geschlossenem Schalter.
Speicherbedarf: Für beide Zeitzonen zusammen, bleibt die maximale Anzahl der Karten auf
99 Stück begrenzt.

8. ID-Karten berechtigen / sperren
ID-Karte berechtigen
Öffnen oder schließen Sie den Schalter der Zeitschaltuhr entsprechend der gewünschten
Zeitzone "A" oder "B".
Bringen Sie die PROGRAM-Karte ins Feld.
Der Blinkrhythmus der gelben LED ist nun schneller geworden. Das ACC 50 befindet sich jetzt im
Programmiermodus.
Sämtliche ID-Karten die jetzt ins Feld gebracht werden sind in der entsprechenden Zeitzone
zutrittsberechtigt. Nach jedem korrekten Programmiervorgang leuchtet die grüne LED für ca. 1
Sekunde. Innerhalb von 8 Sekunden kann die nächste ID-Karte berechtigt werden.
Wenn Sie in den Betriebsmodus umschalten möchten, bringen Sie die PROGRAM-Karte ein
zweites Mal ins Feld, das ACC 50 geht daraufhin in den Betriebsmodus.
Der Betriebsmodus wird durch langsames Blinken der gelben LED angezeigt.
Hinweis: Wenn sich das ACC 50 im Programmiermodus befindet und 8 Sekunden keine Aktion
erfolgt, wird automatisch in den Betriebsmodus umgeschaltet.
ID-Karte sperren
Öffnen oder schließen Sie den Schalter der Zeitschaltuhr entsprechend der gewünschten
Zeitzone "A" oder "B".
Um das ACC 50 in den Sperrmodus zu schalten, bringen Sie die CLEAR-Karte ins Feld. Der
Sperrmodus wird ebenfalls durch schnelles Blinken angezeigt.
Die zu sperrende Karte ins Feld bringen. Bei korrektem Sperrvorgang leuchtet die rote LED ca. 1
Sekunde lang auf. Sämtliche berechtigten ID-Karten die Sie im Sperrmodus ins Feld bringen,
werden gesperrt.
Ein erneutes Lesen der CLEAR-Karte schaltet wieder um in den Betriebsmodus.
Erfolgt im Sperrmodus 8 Sekunden lang keine Aktion, so wird automatisch in den Betriebsmodus
umgeschaltet.
ID-Karte in beiden Zeitzonen berechtigen oder sperren
Soll eine ID-Karte in Zeitzone "A" und "B" berechtigt oder gelöscht werden, muss dieser Vorgang
jeweils bei offenem und geschlossenem Eingang "Zeitschaltuhr" vorgenommen werden.
ID-Karte sperren, die nicht zur Verfügung steht
Wird eine berechtigte ID-Karte als verloren gemeldet und man will verhindern, dass sich jemand
unbefugt Zutritt verschafft, so muß mit der RESET-Karte der komplette Speicher gelöscht werden.
Alle ID-Karten die berechtigt waren, müssen neu berechtigt werden.

2. Application / functions
lThe ACC 50 checks and monitors the access to a door.
lThe door strike is released and the appertaining door can be opened with an authorized ID-
card. The release time depends on the position of the DIP switches.
lIn addition to that, the ACC 50 takes over the door monitoring function. When a door strike
with monitoring contact is used, this contact reports whether the door is open or shut. After
run-down of the adjusted monitoring time the ACC 50 can trigger with the lock contact an
alarm on an intrusion detection system or an alarm signalling device (signal lamp, flash
signal, horn etc.).
lAn external door strike key which is located in the secured area allows a manual door
release.
l2 time zones the ID-cards can be assigned to, can be defined by an external timer.
Example:Time zone "A" = 07:00 o’clock... 19:00 o’clock = Switch open
Time zone "B" = 19:00 o’clock ... 07:00 o’clock = Switch closed
Depending on the assignment certain persons have access authorization only within time
zone "A", only within time zone "B" or for both time zones.
lThe ACC 50 is programmed by means of the programming card set. When programming
the programming card set the ACC 50 stores the numbers of the cards once. Then other
programming cards are no longer authorized, that means other card sets are disabled.
3. Handling of the ID cards
The cards are reliable and clearly identified, as long as the distance to the ACC 50 is not exceeded.
The receiver unit of the ACC 50 is in the upper third. The best distance is 5-10 cm and the card has to
be held parallel in front of the unit. Just pull by the card in front of the ACC 50 to achieve a reliable
reading of the card.
The principle of the contactless cards:
The interior of the card is composed of an oscillating circuit and a microchip with the stored code of the
card. The ACC 50 emits a weak electromagnetic field, which is in resonance with the oscillating circuit
of the card. Now the card modulates the receiving frequency with its bit pattern which is received by
theACC50.

4. Functions of the programming card set
The programming card set consists of 3 cards.
RESET card PROGRAM card CLEAR card
The respective mode of the ACC 50 can be changed with these cards. The installer programs the
programming card set.
RESET card:
Attention! The data memory is completely cleared and the ACC 50 returns to normal
mode! Only use this card for set-up or for deletion of all ID cards
PROGRAM card:
The ACC 50 changes to programming mode. All ID cards which are read in subsequently get an
authorization in dependence on the input "timer".
brown-black open = time zone "A"
brown-black closed = time zone "B"
CLEAR card:
The ACC 50 changes to the disable mode. ID cards which had authorization rights so far can be
disabled in the disable mode. All cards which are read in subsequently are disabled in the ACC 50.
Please consider the appertaining time zone "A" and "B".

DIP switch 1 and 2
The period the door strike relay remains operated after an authorized card has been read or the
external door strike switch has been pushed can be determined with DIP switch 1 and 2.
DIP switch 3 and 4
The monitoring time is adjusted with DIP switche 3 and 4. The alarm relay is activated if the monitoring
time has run down and the status signal contact is still open.
Choose position “No” to disable the evaluation of the status signal contact.
DIP switch 5 and 8
The DIP switches 5 to 8 must be in "0" position.

The access rights can be distributed over two time zones.
In the example above card 1 has only access authorization within time zone A and card 2 has only
access authorization within time zone B.
Card 3, however, has access authorization within both time zones.
The ACC 50 stores the card in the time zone memory which is currently active due to the switch
position.
For a card which has to get access authorization within both time zones, the authorization process
must take place twice while the switch is open and closed.
Memory capacity: For the two time zones together the maximum number of cards is limited to
99 cards.

8. Authorization / disabling of ID-cards
Authorization of ID-cards
Open or close the switch of the timer depending on the required time zone "A" or "B".
Hold the PROGRAMM card in the electromagnetic field..
The yellow LED flashes faster which indicates that the programming mode of the ACC 50 is active
now.
All ID-cards which are held in the electromagnetic field now get access authorization within the
corresponding time zone. The green LED goes on for approx. 1 second after each correct
programming process. The next ID-card can be programmed for access authorization within 8
seconds.
To change to operating mode, hold the PROGRAM card once again in the electromagnetic field.The
ACC 50 changes to operating mode.
The operating mode is indicated by the yelllow LED flashing slowly.
Note: The ACC 50 changes automatically from programming mode to operating mode if no action
takes place within 8 seconds.
Disabling the ID-card
Open or close the switch of the timer depending on the required time zone "A" or "B".
Hold the CLEAR card in the electromagnetic field to activate the disable mode of the ACC 50. The
disable mode is also indicated by the quickly flashing LED.
Hold the card to be disabled in the electromagnetic field. The red LED goes on for approx. 1 second
which indicates that the card was successfully disabled. All authorized ID-cards that you hold in the
field are disabled.
Chang to the operating mode by holding the CLEAR-card once again in the electromagnetic field.
The ACC 50 changes automatically from disable mode to operating mode if no action takes place
within 8 seconds.
Authorization / disabling of ID-cards for both time zones
To authorize or disable an ID-card for time zone "A" and "B", this process must take place once with
open input “timer” and once with closed input “timer”.
Disabling ID-cards which are not available
If case of lost of an authorized card the complete memory has to be cleared with the RESET card to
avoid an unauthorized access.
All ID-cards which were authorized have to be authorized again.

11. Using the device correctly
Tap the device lightly with fingertips. Never strike or apply strong pressure to the device.
The use of hard or sharp objects, including fingernails, rings, etc. can cause scratches and damage
the device.
To clean: Wipe the device with a dry soft lint-free cloth, or one that has been lightly dampened with
water.
The use of caustic liquids such as benzene, thinners, alcohol, solvents, or abrasive cleaners of any
kind will lead to surface deterioration and damage.
