1INTRODUCTION
CYBER SECURITY NOTICE
SV2 Series products contain electronics and software. Care
should be taken by the installer / facility management
to guard against unauthorized access to the valve and to
the programming interface for parameter modification (if
applicable).
Unauthorized access to change the valve wiring interface,
replace parts, change device hardware or software should not
be permitted. Failure to do so may pose a safety risk.
A tamper evident label has been placed inside the valve
electrical enclosure to indicate if access has occurred. The
label resides between the valve main electronics assembly
and the electrical enclosure which houses it.
NOTE: The valve main electronics assembly is field
replaceable and as such, this seal must be broken in
order to replace it.
2Installation and Mounting
When Installing This Product…
1. Read these instructions and the appropriate product
literature carefully. Failure to follow them could damage the
product or cause a hazardous condition.
2. Installer must be a trained, experienced combustion
service technician.
3. Check the ratings given in the instructions and on the
product to make sure the product is suitable for your
application. Do not exceed the valve ratings.
4. Disconnect the power supply before beginning
installation to prevent electrical shock and equipment
damage.
5. All wiring must comply with the National Electric
Code (NEC) and any applicable local electrical codes,
ordinances and regulations.
6. After installation is complete, carry out a thorough
checkout of product operation as laid out in this
document.

IMPORTANT
•The valve must be installed so that the arrow on the valve
points in the direction of the gas flow (gas pressure helps to
close the valve).
•Make sure the O-ring seals (provided) are properly
positioned and seated at the inlet and outlet flange
connections.
•Do not remove the dust seal over the valve inlet and outlet
until ready to connect piping.

WARNING

• Do not take valve apart.
• Do not use tools to operate valve.
• Do not use valve if it has been flooded.
• Call serviceman if valve does not work properly.
IMPORTANT
•Disassembly of the valve in the field may cause permanent
damage to the valve and void the factory warranty.
•Fasteners containing lacquer paint indicate non-field
accessible areas.
•Accessory modules may be removed or replaced as
necessary in the field.
CAUTION
If valve has been dropped, do not use it.
• Dropping the valve may cause permanent damage to the
valve.
• Replace entire valve and associated modules before use.
CAUTION
The SV2 Series valve should be used with clean gas free of
particles bigger than 50 micrometers.
To ensure this requirement is met, an external filter element,
such as the Honeywell Kromschroeder GFK or similar, can
be added to the gas supply line.

IMPORTANT
–The Fuel/Air Ratio Module operates properly only if the
pulse line fittings are properly tightened and the flow
through the pulse lines is un-obstructed.
•Proper measures shall be taken to ensure the pulse
lines are not twisted or kinked during connection and
that they can’t be unintentionally kinked after the
installation has been taken into operation.
•Protect pulse lines against damage and keep the lines
free from any contact to potential vibrating surfaces
–In all cases, avoid creating a siphon-like shape.
–A wide variety of pulse line slopes and shapes may be
needed to fit into a particular appliance; best engineering
practice would be ‘1/2 bubble’ on a level (¼ inch of drop
per 1 foot of run or 6mm drop per 0.31m of run). However,
practical limitations may require some deviation from it.
Please consult Honeywell Thermal Solutions with your
particular geometrical arrangement if at doubt.

IMPORTANT (Refer to Fig. 16)
–To avoid condensate from back draft entering any pulse
line of the Fuel/Air Ratio Module, downwards pointing
pressure tabs on the V2MU mixing unit or any other
device shall not be used.

–Partial blockage of the air intake of the V2MU mixing unit
can potentially influence the air pressure signal to the
valve.
•Proper measures shall be taken to avoid a partial air
intake blockage of the V2MU mixing unit. Inspection
of the V2MU air intake shall be part of the annual
maintenance of the appliance.
Premix Air Pre-Filter
IMPORTANT
–The filter should be mounted as close to the valve
FARMOD as possible.
–Replacement of the filter shall be included in the annual
appliance maintenance procedures.

Premix Outdoor Air Installations
WARNING
Direct water ingress (e.g. from mist, rain or pressure wash)
into the pulse lines should be avoided or prevented
IMPORTANT:
–When the valve is installed in an area with a temperature
continuously lower than the combustion air intake
temperature, a risk of condensate formation in the air
pulse line is present, which can affect the fuel/air ratio
control, depending on the appliance and permanently
damage the FARMOD and the system.
–In this case it is strongly recommended to install the
Honeywell SV2 Series HEATEXCHANGER-000 kit for a
complete condensation/dehumidification solution to
avoid permanent damage to the FARMOD and the system.
–When using the Honeywell HEATEXCHANGER-000 kit,
the valve + FARMOD may be installed above or below the
mixing unit + Heat Exchanger, but above is preferred.
–If the potential for condensation exists and the full
Honeywell dehumidification system is not used,
Honeywell cannot provide any guidance regarding the
valve/FARMOD position versus the mixing unit as this
configuration has not been designed or tested.
–To prevent condensation formation due to back draft, it is
recommended to purge the application after each burner
operation.
–If there is never a risk of condensation, meaning the
ambient room temperature is above the combustion air
dew point at all times, the complete dehumidification
system is not needed. In this case the valve + FARMOD
can be mounted above or below the mixing unit.
Premix Start-Up
IMPORTANT:
–The FARMOD (Fuel/Air Ratio Module) is standard
equipped with a heating device. The heater will be
powered whenever the valve electronics are powered. The
FARMOD will feel warm after 1 hour of being powered.
This is normal.
–As part of the appliance adjustments during
commissioning, the site-specific calibration of the
SV2 Series valve/appliance should be performed when
the valve/appliance has reached a typical operating
temperature for its installation/application in order to
minimize the impact of component temperature changes
on the fuel/air ratio.

3WIRING
A. Wiring and Conduit Recommendations
WARNING
Explosion Hazard and Electrical Shock Hazard.
Can cause explosion, serious injury or death.
• Disconnect the power supply making wiring connections
to prevent electrical shock and equipment damage.
• More than one power supply disconnect can be involved.
IMPORTANT
•Use only flexible conduit with the SV2 Series valve NEMA 4
/ IP66 enclosures.
•Wiring must comply with all applicable electrical codes,
ordinances and regulations.
•Wiring must comply with NEC Class 1 (line voltage) wiring.
•Use lead wire which can withstand 90°C (194°F) ambient
temperatures.
•Voltage and frequency of the power supply connected to
this control must agree with those marked on the device.
•Loads connected to the VPS (valve proving system) Switch
and/or POC (proof of closure) Switch, if used, must not
exceed the ratings given in Table 8.
•Separate line and low voltage to avoid signal interference.
If using conduit, run line voltage and low voltage wiring in
separate conduit.
4VALVE CHECKOUT AND
OPERATION
WARNING
Explosion Hazard and Electrical Shock Hazard.
Can cause explosion, serious injury or death.
• Do not allow fuel to accumulate in the combustion
chamber for longer than a few seconds without igniting.
An explosive mixture can result.
• Do not put the system into service until you have
satisfactorily completed the following Valve Seat Leak
Test, all applicable tests described in the Checkout
section of the flame safeguard control manual, and any
other tests required by the burner manufacturer.
• All tests must be performed by a trained, experienced
combustion service technician.
• Close all manual fuel shut-off valves as soon as trouble
occurs. After the installation is complete, perform the
Valve Seat Leak Test before putting the valve into service.
A. Valve Connection and Accessory Leak
Test
IMPORTANT
Leak check should be performed only by trained, experienced
combustion service technician during the initial startup
of the burner system, or whenever the valve is replaced.
It is recommended that this test also be included in the
scheduled inspection and maintenance procedures.
B. Valve Seat Leak Test (Refer to Fig. 35)
IMPORTANT
This is a test for checking the closure tightness of the gas
shut-off valve. It should be performed only by trained,
experienced combustion service technicians during the
initial startup of the burner system or whenever the valve
is replaced. It is recommended that this test should also
be included in the scheduled inspection and maintenance
procedures. Refer to Fig. 35.

Remove the power from the system before beginning the
valve leak test to prevent electrical shock. More than one
disconnect may be involved. Power the system only when
requested in the test procedure.
5PROGRAMMING AND SETUP
IMPORTANT
•You DO NOT have to enable and utilize the intelligent valve
features.
•Any intelligent features used do require completion of setup
and verification during the initial valve setup using the HMI
or PC tools before the valve will be operational.
•When using the Pressure Module, you MUST use both the
low gas pressure and high gas pressure settings.
6Final Wiring Check and Static
Checkout
A. Test
CAUTION
•Cycle the valve several times with the manual
fuel shut-off valve closed. Verify that the valve,
accessory modules and control system function
properly.
•Test each limit and interlock to ensure system
operates correctly as defined in the applicable
flame safeguard control manual instructions.
•Follow burner management system checkout
guidelines. For 7800 SERIES, refer to the
“Checkout and Test” document (Form #65-0229).
•Perform any other recommended manufacturer or
other required tests.
Troubleshooting
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard.
Can cause severe injury, death or property damage.
Use extreme caution when troubleshooting; line voltage is
present.
IMPORTANT
Do not replace the valve until all other sources of trouble have
been eliminated.
Service Information

重要事项
–仅当脉冲线连接件正确紧固且脉冲线中的流动不受阻碍时，燃空
比模块才能正常运行。

装置开始运行后脉冲线意外扭结。

重要事项：
–如果阀安装区域的温度持续低于助燃空气进气温度，空气脉冲线
中会有冷凝风险，可能会影响燃空比控制（具体取决于设备），并
对 FARMOD 和系统造成永久性损坏。
–在这种情况下，强烈建议在整体冷凝/除湿解决方案中安装霍尼
韦尔 SV2 系列 HEATEXCHANGER-000 套件，避免对 FARMOD
和系统造成永久性损坏。
–使用霍尼韦尔 HEATEXCHANGER-000 套件时，可以在混合装
置和热交换器的上方或下方安装阀和 FARMOD，最好是安装在
上方。

–为了防止因反向气流形成冷凝，建议在每次燃烧器运行结束后，
将设备吹扫干净。
–如果没有冷凝风险，即室温始终高于助燃空气露点，则无需安装
整体除湿系统。 在这种情况下，可以在混合装置上方或下方安装
阀和 FARMOD。
预混合启动

3 接线

4 阀检验和运行

积聚在燃烧室中。 否则可能产生爆炸性混合物。
• 将系统投入运行之前，必须先完成以下阀座泄露测试、火焰安全
控制手册“检验”部分所述的所有相关测试以及燃烧器制造商规
定的所有其他测试，并且测试结果合格。
• 所有测试必须由接受过培训且经验丰富的燃烧维修技术人员执
行。
• 一旦出现故障，必须立即关闭所有燃料关断阀。 完成安装后，将
阀投入运行前，必须先执行阀座泄露测试。
A. 阀连接和配件泄露测试
重要事项
泄露检测必须由接受过培训且经验丰富的燃烧维修技术人员在初
次启动
燃烧器系统或每次更换阀时执行。 建议在按计划执行检验和维护程
序时，也进行此检测
B. 阀座泄露测试（参见图 35）
重要事项
这是检验气体关断阀密闭性的测试。 该测试必须由接受过培训且经
验丰富的燃烧维修技术人员在初次启动燃烧器系统或每次更换阀
时执行。 建议在按计划执行检验和维护程序时，也进行此检测。 请

5 编程和设置
重要事项
• 无需启用和使用智能阀功能。

6 最终接线检查和静态检验
A. 测试

• 在关闭手动燃气关断阀的情况下，多次循环启动阀。 检验阀、配件
模块和控制系统是否正常运行。
• 测试每一个限制和互锁机构，确保系统按照相关火焰安全控制手
册说明中的描述正确运行。
• 遵照燃烧器管理系统检验指南。 对于 7800 系列，请参见“检验和
测试”文档（文件 #65-0229）。 执行制造商建议的任何其他测试
或其他规定测试。

1INLEIDING
KENNISGEVING
CYBERBEVEILIGING
Producten van de SV2-serie bevatten elektronica en software.
De monteur of het faciliteitsbeheer moet zorgdragen voor de
beveiliging tegen ongeautoriseerde toegang tot de klep en de
programmeringsinterface voor parameteraanpassing (indien
van toepassing).
Ongeautoriseerde toegang om de bekabelingsinterface van
de klep te wijzigen, onderdelen te vervangen of hardware of
software van het apparaat te wijzigen is niet toegestaan. Doet
u dit niet, dan is dit mogelijk een beveiligingsrisico.
Er is binnen in de elektrische behuizing van de klep een
sabotagelabel geplaatst om aan te geven of de klep is
geopend. Het label bevindt zich tussen de hoofdelektronica
en de elektrische behuizing waarin de hoofdelektronica zich
bevindt.
OPMERKING: De hoofdelektronica van de klep kan worden
vervangen. Hiervoor moet het label worden
verbroken.
2Installatie en montage
Wanneer moet dit product worden
geïnstalleerd...
1. Lees deze instructies en de desbetreffende
productdocumentatie grondig door. Het niet opvolgen
ervan kan het product beschadigen of een gevaarlijke
situatie veroorzaken.
2. De installateur moet een geschoolde, ervaren
verbrandingsonderhoudsmonteur zijn.
3. Controleer de kwalificaties in de instructies en op het
product om er zeker van te zijn dat het product geschikt
is voor uw toepassing. Houd u aan de nominale waarden
van de kleppen.
4. Schakel de stroomtoevoer uit voordat u met de installatie
begint om elektrische schokken en schade aan de
apparatuur te voorkomen.
5. Alle bedrading moet voldoen aan de National Electric
Code (NEC) en alle toepasselijke lokale elektrische codes,
verordeningen en voorschriften.
6. Controleer na afloop van de installatie de werking van het
product grondig, zoals staat beschreven in dit document.

• Sluit het gas af voordat u met de installatie begint.
• Schakel de stroomtoevoer uit voordat u met de
installatie begint.
• Het kan zijn dat er meerdere stroomtoevoeren moeten
worden uitgeschakeld.
BELANGRIJK:
•De klep moet zodanig worden geïnstalleerd dat de pijl
op de klep in de richting van de gasstroom wijst (de klep
wordt gesloten door de gasdruk).
•Zorg ervoor dat de (bijgeleverde) O-ringafdichtingen
op de juiste manier en op de inlaat- en
uitlaatflensverbindingen worden aangebracht.
•Verwijder de stofafdichting op de klepinlaat en -uitlaat
pas als de leidingen kunnen worden aangesloten.

WAARSCHUWING

• Haal de klep niet uit elkaar.
• Gebruik geen gereedschap om de klep te bedienen.
• Gebruik geen klep als die is ondergelopen.
• Haal er een servicemonteur bij als de klep niet goed
werkt.
BELANGRIJK:
•Demontage van de klep kan blijvende schade aan
de klep veroorzaken en de fabrieksgarantie ongeldig
maken.
•Klemmen die lakverf bevatten, geven delen aan die niet
toegankelijk zijn.
•Accessoiremodules kunnen indien nodig worden
verwijderd of vervangen.
LET OP
Kleppen die zijn gevallen, mag u niet meer gebruiken.
• Een klep die u laat vallen, kan beschadigd raken.
• Vervang de volledige klep en de bijbehorende modules
vóór gebruik.
LET OP
Kleppen uit de SV2-serie moeten worden gebruikt bij
schoon gas waarin geen deeltjes groter dan 50 micrometer
voorkomen.
Om ervoor te zorgen dat aan deze eis wordt
voldaan, kan er een extern filterelement, zoals de
Honeywell Kromschroeder GFK of vergelijkbaar, in de
gastoevoerleiding worden geplaatst.

OPMERKING
Probeer NIET de richting van de klepelektronica aan de

de klep te raadplegen

BELANGRIJK:
– De brandstof-/luchtverhoudingsmodule werkt alleen
goed als de koppelstukken van de pulsleidingen goed
zijn vastgedraaid en de stroom door de pulsleidingen niet
wordt belemmerd.
•De juiste maatregelen moeten worden genomen om
ervoor te zorgen dat de pulsleidingen tijdens het
aansluiten niet draaien of knikken en dat die leidingen
op geen enkele manier kunnen knikken nadat de
installatie in gebruik is genomen.
•Bescherm pulsleidingen tegen beschadigingen en zorg
ervoor dat de leidingen niet in aanraking kunnen komen
met mogelijk trillende oppervlakken.
– Voorkom in alle gevallen dat de leidingen buigen, zoals
een sifon.
– Een grote verscheidenheid aan pulsleidinghellingen
en -vormen kan nodig zijn om in een bepaald apparaat
te kunnen passen; de beste technische praktijk is ‘1/2
luchtbel’ op een niveau (¼ inch daling per 1 voet lengte
of 6 mm daling per 0,31 mtr). In de praktijk kan het echter
nodig zijn om er enigszins van af te wijken. Raadpleeg in
geval van twijfel Honeywell Thermal Solutions over uw
specifieke geometrische opstelling.

BELANGRIJK (zie afbeelding 16)
- Om te voorkomen dat condens uit een backdraft in een
pulsleiding van de brandstof-/luchtverhoudingsmodule
terechtkomt, mogen geen naar beneden gerichte
druklipjes op de V2MU-mengeenheid of op een ander
apparaat worden gebruikt.
– Een gedeeltelijke blokkering van de luchtinlaat van de
V2MU kan van invloed zijn op het luchtdruksignaal naar
de klep.
•Passende maatregelen moeten worden genomen
om een gedeeltelijke blokkering van de V2MU-
mengeenheid bij de luchtinlaat te voorkomen. Inspectie
van de V2MU-luchtinlaat maakt deel uit van het
jaarlijkse onderhoud van het apparaat.
Premix-luchtvoorfilter
BELANGRIJK
– Het filter moet zo dicht mogelijk bij de klep FARMOD
worden geïnstalleerd.
– Tijdens de jaarlijkse onderhoudsprocedures voor het
apparaat moet het filter worden vervangen.

Premix-buitenluchtinstallaties
WAARSCHUWING
Het rechtstreeks binnendringen van water (bijvoorbeeld
door nevel, regen of hogedrukreiniging) in de pulsleidingen
moet worden vermeden of voorkomen.
BELANGRIJK:
– Wanneer de klep wordt geïnstalleerd in een ruimte
met een temperatuur die continu lager is dan de
inlaattemperatuur van de verbrandingslucht, kan er
condensvorming optreden in de luchtpulsleiding, die
afhankelijk van het apparaat gevolgen kan hebben voor
de brandstof-luchtverhouding en de FARMOD en het
systeem permanent kan beschadigen.
– In dit geval is het sterk aan te raden de
HEATEXCHANGER-000 kit uit de Honeywell SV2-
serie te installeren voor een complete condens-/
ontvochtigingsoplossing om blijvende schade aan de
FARMOD en het systeem te voorkomen.
– Bij gebruik van de Honeywell HEATEXCHANGER-000
kit kunnen de klep + FARMOD boven of onder de
mengeenheid + warmtewisselaar worden geïnstalleerd,
maar installatie boven de mengeenheid + warmtewisselaar
geniet de voorkeur.
– Als er kans op condensvorming is en het volledige
ontvochtigingssysteem van Honeywell wordt niet
gebruikt, kan Honeywell geen richtlijnen geven met
betrekking tot de stand van de klep/FARMOD ten opzichte
van de mengeenheid, aangezien deze configuratie niet
door Honeywell is ontworpen of getest.
– Om condensvorming door tocht te voorkomen, is het aan
te bevelen om de toepassing na elke branderwerking te
spoelen.
– Als er nooit kans op condensvorming is, d.w.z.
de omgevingstemperatuur ligt altijd boven het
dauwpunt van de verbrandingslucht, is het volledige
ontvochtigingssysteem niet nodig. In dat geval kunnen de
klep + FARMOD boven of onder de mengeenheid worden
gemonteerd.
Premix opstarten
BELANGRIJK:
– De FARMOD (brandstof-luchtverhoudingsmodule)
is standaard voorzien van een verwarmingsapparaat.
De verwarming wordt ingeschakeld wanneer de
klepelektronica van stroom wordt voorzien. De FARMOD
voelt na 1 uur te zijn ingeschakeld warm aan. Dat is
normaal.
– Als onderdeel van de instellingen van het apparaat tijdens
de inbedrijfstelling moet de locatiespecifieke kalibratie
van de klep/het apparaat uit de SV2-serie worden
uitgevoerd wanneer de klep/het apparaat een gangbare
bedrijfstemperatuur voor de installatie/toepassing heeft
bereikt om de impact van temperatuursveranderingen in
de componenten op de brandstof-luchtverhouding tot
een minimum te beperken.

001) geleverd met de SV2-klep MOET worden
gebruikt om de flensmontage C6097 aan het
klephuis te bevestigen
•Gebruik NIET de 8-32 schroeven die bij de
drukschakelaar van flensmodule C6097 worden
geleverd
•Het niet opvolgen van dit advies kan leiden tot
gaslekkage en een explosie

3BEDRADING
A. Aanbevelingen voor bedrading en
leidingen
WAARSCHUWING
Explosiegevaar en gevaar door elektrische schokken. Kan een
explosie, ernstig letsel of de dood veroorzaken.
• Schakel de stroomtoevoer uit wanneer u de bedrading
gaat aansluiten om elektrische schokken en schade aan de
apparatuur te voorkomen.
• Het kan zijn dat er meerdere stroomtoevoeren moeten
worden uitgeschakeld.
BELANGRIJK:
•Gebruik alleen flexibele leidingen bij de NEMA 4 / IP66-
behuizingen voor de klep uit de SV2-serie.
•Alle bedrading moet voldoen aan alle toepasselijke lokale
elektrische codes, verordeningen en voorschriften.
•De bedrading moet voldoen aan NEC-klasse 1
(netspanning) voor bedrading.
•Gebruik afleidingsdraad dat bestand is tegen
omgevingstemperaturen van 90°C (194°F).
•De spanning en frequentie van de stroomtoevoer die op
deze regeling is aangesloten, moeten overeenkomen
met de spanning en frequentie die op het apparaat staan
aangegeven.
•Belastingen die zijn aangesloten op de VPS-schakelaar
(valve proofing system) en/of de POC-schakelaar (proof
of closure), mogen bij gebruik de in tabel 8 vermelde
waarden niet overschrijden.
•Zorg voor afzonderlijke lijn- en laagspanning om
signaalinterferentie te voorkomen. Als u gebruikmaakt
van een kabelgoot, moet u de netspannings- en
laagspanningsbedrading elk in een aparte kabelgoot
leggen.
4CONTROLE EN BEDIENING VAN
DE KLEP
WAARSCHUWING
Explosiegevaar en gevaar door elektrische schokken. Kan
een explosie, ernstig letsel of de dood veroorzaken.
• Laat de brandstof zich niet langer dan enkele seconden
in de verbrandingskamer ophopen zonder die te laten
ontbranden. Anders ontstaat er een explosief mengsel.
• Neem het systeem pas in gebruik nadat de volgende
lektest voor de klepzitting, alle van toepassing zijnde tests
die staan beschreven in het hoofdstuk “Controle” van
de handleiding van de vlambeveiligingscontrole, en alle
andere tests die door de fabrikant van de brander worden
vereist, met goed gevolg zijn uitgevoerd.
• Alle tests moeten door een geschoolde, ervaren
verbrandingsonderhoudsmonteur worden uitgevoerd.
• Sluit bij het minste of geringste alle handmatige
brandstofafsluiters. Laat na de installatie de lektest voor
de klepzitting uitvoeren voordat u de klep gaat gebruiken.
A. Lektest voor kleppen en accessoires
BELANGRIJK:
Lekkagetests mogen alleen door een geschoolde, ervaren
verbrandingsonderhoudsmonteur worden uitgevoerd
tijdens de eerste keer opstarten van het brandersysteem of
wanneer de klep wordt vervangen. Aanbevolen wordt deze
test onderdeel te laten zijn van de geplande inspectie- en
onderhoudsprocedures.

B. D. Lektest voor de klepzitting
(zie Fig. 35)
BELANGRIJK:
Met deze test wordt de sluitdichtheid van de gasafsluiter
gecontroleerd. Deze test mag alleen door geschoolde,
ervaren verbrandingsonderhoudsmonteurs tijdens de eerste
keer opstarten van het brandersysteem of bij het vervangen
van de klep worden uitgevoerd. Aanbevolen wordt deze
test onderdeel te laten zijn van de geplande inspectie- en
onderhoudsprocedures. Zie Fig. 35.

Schakel de stroomtoevoer uit voordat u met de lektest
voor de klep gaat beginnen om elektrische schokken te
voorkomen. Het kan zijn dat er meerdere stroomtoevoeren
moeten worden uitgeschakeld. Schakel de stroom naar
het systeem alleen uit als dat in de testprocedure staat
aangegeven.
5PROGRAMMEREN EN INSTELLEN
BELANGRIJK:
•U hoeft de intelligente klepeigenschappen NIET in te
schakelen en te gebruiken.
•Voor alle intelligente functies die worden gebruikt, moeten
tijdens de eerste installatie van de klep instellingen
worden opgegeven en worden geverifieerd met behulp
van de HMI- of PC-tools voordat de klep bedrijfsklaar is.
•Bij gebruik van de drukmodule MOET u zowel de
instellingen voor lage gasdruk als voor hoge gasdruk
gebruiken.
6Eindcontrole van de bedrading en
statische verificatie
A. Test
VOORZICHTIG
•Open en sluit de klep diverse keren met de
handbediende brandstofafsluiter gesloten.
Controleer of de klep, de accessoiremodules en
het regelsysteem goed werken.
•Test elke limietwaarde en vergrendeling om
er zeker van te zijn dat het systeem correct
werkt zoals aangegeven in de instructies in de
desbetreffende handleiding voor vlambeveiliging.
•Volg de richtlijnen voor het controleren van
het branderbeheersysteem. Raadpleeg voor
de 7800-serie het document “Controleren en
testen” (Formuliernr. 65-0229). Voer alle door
de fabrikant aanbevolen tests of andere vereiste
tests uit.
Problemen oplossen
WAARSCHUWING
Gevaar door elektrische schokken.
Kan ernstig letsel, de dood of materiële schade
veroorzaken. Wees uiterst voorzichtig bij het oplossen van
problemen omwille van de netspanning.
BELANGRIJK:
Vervang de klep pas als alle mogelijke andere oorzaken van
het probleem kunnen worden uitgesloten.
Informatie over onderhoud
WAARSCHUWING
Explosiegevaar en gevaar door elektrische schokken. Kan
ernstig letsel, de dood of materiële schade veroorzaken.
•Schakel de gastoevoer en alle stroom uit voordat er
onderhoud aan de klep wordt gepleegd.
•Alleen getrainde en ervaren
verbrandingsonderhoudsmonteur mogen
vlambeveiligingscontroles, branderconstructies of
klepaandrijvingen onderhouden en repareren.
•Raadpleeg de gebruikershandleiding van de SV2-
serie, 32-00029, voor advies over het vervangen van
onderdelen.

ADDENDA SUR LES INSTRUCTIONS D’INSTALLATION
1INTRODUCTION
REMARQUE SUR LA
SÉCURITÉ INFORMATIQUE
Les produits de la gamme SV2 contiennent des pièces
électroniques et des logiciels. L’installateur ou la direction de
l’usine doit s’assurer qu’aucune personne non autorisée n’accède
à la vanne et à l’interface de programmation pour modifier les
paramètres (le cas échéant).
Un accès non autorisé pour changer l’interface de câblage
de la vanne, remplacer des pièces et changer le matériel ou
le logiciel de l’appareil ne devrait pas être permis. Le cas
contraire pose un risque à la sécurité.
Une étiquette inviolable a été placée à l’intérieur du boîtier
électrique de la vanne pour indiquer s’il a été ouvert.
L’étiquette est située entre l’ensemble de pièces électroniques
principal de la vanne et le boîtier électrique dans lequel il se
trouve.
REMARQUE : Puisque l’ensemble de pièces électroniques
principal de la vanne est remplaçable sur site, ce
sceau doit être brisé pour le remplacer.
2Installation ET MONTAGE
Lorsque vous installez ce produit…
1. Lisez attentivement ces instructions et la documentation
appropriée sur le produit. Le non-respect de ces consignes
peut entraîner l’endommagement du produit ou causer
une condition dangereuse.
2. L’installateur doit être un technicien en service de
combustion formé et expérimenté.
3. Vérifiez les caractéristiques nominales indiquées dans
les instructions et sur le produit pour vous assurer que le
produit convient à votre application. Ne dépassez pas les
valeurs indiquées sur cette vanne.
4. Débranchez l’alimentation électrique avant de
commencer l’installation afin de prévenir les décharges
électriques et les dommages matériels.
5. Tout le câblage doit être conforme aux réglementations
du Code national de l’électricité et aux codes, aux
ordonnances et aux réglementations électriques locaux.
6. Une fois l’installation terminée, vérifiez soigneusement le
bon fonctionnement du produit tel qu’il est décrit dans le
présent document.
AVERTISSEMENT

• Fermez la vanne d’alimentation en gaz avant de commencer
l’installation.

visible sur le dessus soit orientée dans le sens du débit de
gaz (la pression du gaz aide à fermer la vanne).

convenablement positionnés et insérés sur les raccords à
bride d’entrée et de sortie.
•Ne retirez pas les joints étanches à la saleté situés sur
l’entrée et la sortie de la vanne tant que vous n’êtes pas
prêt à connecter la tuyauterie.

AVERTISSEMENT
Risque d’explosion et de décharge électrique.
Peut causer une explosion, des blessures graves ou le décès.
• Ne tentez pas de démonter la vanne.
• N’utilisez aucun outil pour faire fonctionner la vanne.
• N’utilisez pas la vanne si elle a été noyée.
• Faites appel à un mécanicien d’entretien si la vanne ne
fonctionne pas correctement.
IMPORTANT
•Ne démontez pas la vanne sur place, car cela peut
entraîner des dommages permanents, ce qui annulerait
la garantie du fabricant.
•Toute fixation enduite de peinture laque signifie que la
partie sur laquelle elle est fixée n’est pas accessible sur
place.
•Au besoin, il est possible de retirer ou de remplacer les
modules accessoires sur place.
ATTENTION
Si la vanne a subi une chute, ne l’utilisez pas.
• En effet, une chute peut endommager la vanne de façon
permanente.
• Remplacez toute la vanne et les modules associés avant
utilisation.
ATTENTION
La vanne de la gamme SV2 doit être utilisée avec du gaz
propre exempt de particules de plus de 50 micromètres.

IMPORTANT
– Le module de rapport air/carburant ne fonctionne
correctement que si les raccords de la ligne d’impulsion
sont bien serrés et que l’écoulement dans les lignes
d’impulsion n’est pas obstrué.
•Prenez des dispositions appropriées pour veiller à ne
pas plier ni entortiller les lignes d’impulsion durant le
raccordement et pour vous assurer qu’elles ne puissent
être involontairement pliées une fois le système mis en
service.
•Protégez les lignes d’impulsion contre les dommages et
éloignez-les de toute surface qui pourrait vibrer.
– Dans tous les cas, évitez de créer une forme de type siphon.
– Une grande variété de pentes et de formes de lignes
d’impulsion peuvent être nécessaires pour répondre
aux besoins d’une installation particulière; les pratiques
exemplaires techniques recommandent « une demi-
bulle » sur un niveau (chute de 6 mm/¼ po par 31 cm/12
po). Toutefois, certaines limites physiques pourraient
vous obliger à dévier de cette pratique. Si vous avez des
doutes, veuillez présenter votre disposition géométrique à
Solutions thermiques d’Honeywell.
