THIS FAN
When using electrical appliances, basic
precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and
injury to persons, including the following:
FOR US MODELS ONLY - This product
employs overload protection (fuse). A
blown fuse indicates an overload or short-
circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug
the product from the outlet. Replace the
fuse as per the user servicing instructions
(follow product marking for proper fuse
rating) and check the product. If the
replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit
may be present and the product should
be discarded or returned to an authorized
service facility for examination and/or
repair.
1. Use this fan only as described in this
manual. Other use not recommended,
may cause fire, electric shock or injury to
persons.
2. This product is intended for household
use ONLY and not for commercial,
industrial or outdoor use.
3. To protect against electric shock, do not
place fan in window, immerse unit, plug
or cord in water or spray with liquids.
4. This appliance has a polarized plug (one
blade is wider than the other). To reduce
the risk of shock, this plug is intended
to fit only one way in a polarized outlet.
If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit,
contact a qualified electrician.
DO NOT attempt to defeat this safety
feature.
5. Close supervision is necessary when any
appliance is used by or near children.
6. Turn the fan to the OFF position and
unplug the fan from the outlet when not
in use, when moving the fan from one
location to another and before cleaning.
7. To disconnect the fan, first turn control to
the OFF position, grip the plug and pull
it from the wall outlet. Never pull by the
cord.
8. Do not operate the fan in the presence of
explosive and/or flammable fumes.
9. Do not place the fan or any parts near
an open flame, cooking or other heating
appliance.
10. Do not operate the fan with a
damaged cord or plug or if the product
malfunctions, is dropped or damaged in
any manner (see warranty).
11. Avoid contact with moving fan parts.
12. The use of attachments not
recommended by the manufacturer may
be hazardous.
13. Place the fan on a dry level surface.
14. Do not hang or mount fan on ceiling.

USER SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do
not unplug by pulling on cord.
2. If your fan loses power and you suspect that the fuse on your fan has
blown, you should first remove the spare fuse holder attached to the
cord plug (Fig. 1). Remove the spare fuse from the plastic spare fuse
holder, and set the spare fuse aside (Fig. 2).
3. You can gain access to the blown fuse by sliding open the door found
on the side of the plug. Slide the door outward until the blown fuse is
fully visible (Fig. 3).
4. Remove the blown fuse and snap the replacement fuse into place. Risk
of fire. Replace fuse only with 2.5 Amp, 125 volt fuse (provided with
product). Fully close the fuse door by sliding back into place. Discard
the blown fuse. The plug should now be ready for normal use
5. Risk of fire. Do not replace attachment plug. Contains a safety device
(fuse) that should not be removed. Discard product if the attached plug
is damaged.

This fan features a fused safety plug which is designed to cut off electric current to the fan if an
electrical fault occurs. Please see below for more information on how to properly use your fan and
replace the safety plug fuse, if needed.

15. Do not operate if the fan housing is
removed or damaged.
16. A loose fit between the AC outlet
(receptacle) and plug may cause
overheating and a distortion of the plug.
Contact a qualified electrician to replace
loose or worn outlet.
17. Do not operate any fan with a damaged
cord or plug. Discard any damaged fan,
or return the fan to the retailer where the
fan was purchased, or request a return
authorization to return to Kaz USA, Inc. for
examination and/or repair.
18. Do not run fan cord under carpeting. Do
not cover cord with throw rugs, runners,
or similar coverings. Do not route cord
under furniture or appliances. Arrange
cord away from traffic areas and where it
will not be tripped over.

The Turbo Force®High Velocity Air Circulator Fans are aerodynamically
designed to give you the versatility of changing this fan’s angular direction
simply by adjusting the fan to the desired angular output (Fig.1). Upon using
this fan, you will feel a strong and powerful air stream that will quickly
move air to provide a cooling effect.

Honeywell Air Circulator Fans can help save energy and can
lower monthly utility bills all year round. Our air circulators
increase distribution of cooler air from your air conditioner or
warmer air from your heating system, creating a vortex of air
flow for increased comfort. Increased air flow allows the air
conditioning and heating systems to be used at lower settings
to help save you money.
In the summer:
Circulate cool
air by using

•Adjustthefantothedesiredangularairoutputdirection.
•Tomovethefan,turnthefanOFFandpickitupbytheconcealedhandle
that is located on the outside rim of the fan (Fig. 4).

Lors de l’emploi d’appareils électriques,
il convient de toujours observer des
précautions élémentaires afin de réduire le
risque d’incendie, de choc électrique et de
blessure corporelle, y compris les précautions
suivantes:
ÉTATS-UNIS SEULEMENT - Cet appareil
présente une protection (fusible contre les
surcharges. Un fusible grillé signale une
surcharge ou un court-circuit. Si le fusible
saute, débrancher l’appareil à la prise.
Remplacer le fusible selon les instructions
d’entretien fournies (le calibre du fusible
requis est donné sur le produit) et vérifier
l’appareil. Si le fusible de rechange grille,
un court-circuit peut en être la cause ; en ce
cas, l’appareil doit être jeté ou retourné à un
centre de services agréé pour vérification et/
ou réparation.

3. Afin de prévenir tout choc électrique, ne
pas placer le ventilateur dans une fenêtre,
immerger
l’unité, la fiche ou le cordon électrique
dans l’eau ni les vaporiser avec un liquide.
4. Ce produit est équipé d’une fiche polarisée
(fiche dont l’une des lames est plus large
que l’autre). Afin de réduire les risques de
choc électrique, cette fiche ne peut être
insérée que d’une seule manière dans la
prise de courant polarisée. Si la fiche ne
s’insère pas complètement dans la prise,
inverser la fiche. Si la fiche ne s’insère
toujours pas dans la prise, contacter un
électricien qualifié. NE PAS tenter de
contourner ce dispositif de sécurité.
5. Il est nécessaire d’exercer une supervision
étroite lorsqu’un appareil électrique est
utilisé par des enfants ou à leur proximité.
6. MettreleventilateursurlapositionOFF
(arrêt) et débrancher le ventilateur de la
prise lorsqu’on ne l’utilise pas, lorsqu’on
le déplace d’un endroit à un autre ou
avant qu’on ne le nettoie.
7. Pour débrancher le ventilateur, saisir la
fiche et la retirer de la prise de courant
murale. Ne jamais tirer sur le cordon
électrique.
8. Ne jamais faire marcher le ventilateur
en présence de vapeurs explosives et/ou
inflammables.

9. Ne jamais placer le ventilateur ou l’un de
ses éléments à proximité d’une flamme
nue ou d’un appareil de cuisson ou autre
appareil chauffant.
10. Ne pas faire fonctionner un ventilateur
dont le cordon ou la fiche électrique
est endommagé, s’il montre des signes
de mauvais fonctionnement ou encore
si on l’a laissé tomber au sol ou s’il a été
endommagé de quelque façon que ce
soit (consulter la garantie).
11. Éviter de toucher les pièces mobiles du
ventilateur.
12. L’emploi d’accessoires non
recommandés par le fabricant peut
présenter un danger.
13. Placer le ventilateur sur une surface
sèche et de niveau.
14. Ne pas l’accrocher ou le monter au plafond.
15. Ne pas faire fonctionner si le boîtier du
ventilateur a été retiré ou endommagé.
16. Une connexion trop lâche de la fiche dans
a prise de courant c.a. peut entraîner une
surchauffe et une déformation de la fiche.
Faire appel à un électricien qualifié pour
remplacer les prises de courant lâches ou
usées.
17. Ne jamais faire fonctionner un ventilateur
dont le cordon ou la fiche est abîmé. Jeter
tout ventilateur endommagé, le retourner
au détaillant qui l’a vendu ou demander
l’autorisation de le renvoyer à Kaz, Inc.
pour fins de vérification et/ou réparation.
18. Ne pas acheminer le cordon sous tapis ou
moquette, ne pas le recouvrir de carpettes
ou autres revêtements de sol. Ne pas
passer le cordon sous les meubles ou les
appareils ménagers. Éloigner le cordon
des endroits passants, afin qu’il ne risque
pas de faire trébucher.
AVERTISSEMENT : Pour éviter tout
risque d’incendie ou de choc électrique,
ne pas utiliser ce ventilateur avec une
commande de vitesse transistorisée.

FICHE DE SÉCURITÉ AVEC FUSIBLE - ÉTATS-UNIS SEULEMENT
Ce ventilateur comprend une fiche de sécurité avec fusible conçue pour couper le courant au
ventilateur en cas de défaillance électrique. Voyez, ci-dessous, comment utiliser correctement le
ventilateur et remplacer le fusible de la fiche de sécurité, si nécessaire.

INSTRUCTIONS D’ENTRETIEN DESTINÉES À L’UTILISATEUR
1. Tenez la fiche pour la tirer hors de la prise de courant, ou autre. Ne
donnez pas un coup sec sur le cordon pour le débrancher.
2. Si le ventilateur perd de sa puissance ou bien si vous soupçonnez
que le fusible est grillé, commencez par séparer le porte-fusible de
rechange de la fiche (fig. 1). Sortez le fusible de rechange de son
logement en plastique et mettez ce fusible de côté (fig. 2).
3. Pour accéder au fusible grillé, faites coulisser le volet qui se trouve sur
le côté de la fiche. Faites glisser le volet vers l’extérieur jusqu’à ce que
le fusible grillé soit totalement visible (fig. 3).
4. Retirez le fusible grillé et mettez le fusible de rechange à sa place, par
pression. Risque d’incendie. Ne remplacez le fusible qu’avec le fusible
de 2,5 ampères, 125 volts (fourni avec l’appareil). Refermez totalement
le volet en le faisant coulisser. Jetez le fusible grillé. La fiche devrait
alors pouvoir être utilisée normalement.
5. Risque d’incendie. Ne remplacez pas la fiche. Elle contient un
dispositif de sécurité (fusible) qui ne doit pas être enlevé. Jetez
l’appareil si sa fiche est abîmée.

remplacement du fusible de la fiche de sécurité, veuillez communiquer

Le ventilateur de à haute vélocité Turbo ForceMD, de par sa conception
aérodynamique, vous offre la possibilité de changer la direction de l’angle
du ventilateur en réglant simplement l’appareil à n’importe quel angle de
ventilation souhaité (Fig.1). À la mise en marche du ventilateur, vous sentirez
un fort et puissant mouvement d’air qui changera vite pour devenir effet
rafraîchissant.
PRÉSENTATION
Les ventilateurs Honeywell contribuent à l’économie d’énergie et
peuvent réduire le montant de vos factures mensuelles de services
publics toute l’année. Nos ventilateurs favorisent la distribution de
l’air frais sortant des systèmes de climatisation ou de l’air chaud
produit par les appareils de chauffage. Ils créent un tourbillon d’air qui
augmente votre confort. Une circulation d’air accrue permet d’utiliser
les systèmes de climatisation et de chauffage à des réglages plus
bas, ce qui contribue à vous faire économiser de l’argent.

BASSE(I)(Fig.2).
• Enfoncerleboutond’oscillationpourqueleventilateurbalaieunegrande
surface. Le lever pour interrompre l’oscillation (Fig. 3).
• Réglerleventilateuràl’anglecorrespondantàladirectiondeventilation
souhaitée.
• Pourchangerleventilateurdeplace,lemettresurOFF(arrêt)etle
transporter par la poignée dissimulée, située sur le bord extérieur du
ventilateur (Fig. 4).
