YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Electrical appliances may expose people to
hazards that can cause severe injury as well as
death. The use of electrical products may create
hazards that include, but are not limited to,
injury, fire, electrical shock and electrical system
damage. These instructions are intended to
provide you with the information you need to
use the product and to avoid such hazards.
When using electrical appliances, basic
precautions should always be followed to
reduce risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to
persons including the following:
1. Warning – Read all instructions before
using this heater.
2. Warning – This heater is hot when in use.
To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch
hot surfaces. If, provided, use handles
when moving this heater. Keep combustible
materials, such as furniture, pillows,
bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at
least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the
heater and keep them away from the sides
and rear.
3. Warning – Extreme caution is necessary
when any heater is used by or near children
or invalids, and whenever the heater is left
operating and unattended.
4. Warning – Always unplug heater when not
in use.
5. Warning – Do not operate any heater
with a damaged cord or plug or after the
heater malfunctions, has been dropped or
damaged in any manner. Discard heater or
return heater to authorized service facility
for examination and/or repair.
6. Warning – For residential use only.
7. Warning – Do not use outdoors.
8. Warning – This heater is not intended for
use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar
indoor locations. Never locate heater where
it may fall into a bathtub or other water
container.
9. Warning – Do not run cord under carpeting.
Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners,
or similar coverings. Do not route cord
under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord
away from traffic area and where it will not
be tripped over.

10. CAUTION – THIS APPLIANCE HAS A
POLARIZED PLUG (ONE BLADE IS WIDER
THAN THE OTHER). TO REDUCE THE RISK
OF SHOCK, THIS PLUG IS INTENDED TO
FIT ONLY ONE WAY IN A POLARIZED
OUTLET. IF THE PLUG DOES NOT FIT
SECURELY IN THE OUTLET, REVERSE
THE PLUG. IF IT STILL DOES NOT FIT,
CONTACT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN. DO

11. Warning – It is normal for the plug to feel
warm to the touch; however, a loose fit
between the AC outlet (receptacle) and plug
may cause overheating and distortion of
the plug. contact a qualified electrician to
replace loose or worn outlet.
12. Warning – To disconnect the heater, first
turn off the product, then grip the plug
body and pull it from the wall outlet. Never
pull by the cord.
13. Warning – Do not insert or allow foreign
objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust
opening as this may cause an electric shock
or fire, or damage the heater.
14. Warning – To prevent a possible fire, do not
block air intakes or exhaust in any manner.
Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, or
where openings may become blocked.
15. Warning – A heater has hot and arcing or
sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas
where gasoline, paint or flammable liquids
are used or stored.
16. Warning – Use this heater only as
described in this manual. Any other
use not recommended by the
manufacturer may cause fire,
electric shock, or injury to persons.
17. Warning – Always plug heater directly into
a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an
extension cord or relocatable power tap
(outlet/power strip).
18. Warning – Never tamper with this product
or attempt to fix it. Any tampering with, or
modification of this product can result in
serious injury, death, or fire. Risk of electric
shock. Do not open. No user serviceable
parts inside.
19. Warning – Do not remove product labels
that contain warnings or safety instruction.
20. Caution – The output of this heater may
vary and its temperature may become
intense enough to burn exposed skin. Use
of this heater is not recommended for
persons with reduced sensitivity to heat or
an inability to react to avoid burns.
21. Caution – Before cleaning, or storage,
or when not in use, turn the product’s
controls to the OFF position and unplug
the heater from the electrical outlet and
allow to cool.
22. Caution – Place the heater on a firm, level,
open surface free from obstructions and
at least 3 feet (0.9 m) away from any
combustible materials. DO NOT use on an
unstable surface such as bedding or deep
carpeting. Be sure the heater is not in a
position where it may be tripped over by
small children or pets. The heater’s rubber
feet will hold it firmly in position.
23. Caution – If your home has aluminum
wiring have a licensed electrician check
your receptacle’s connections. When
using a 1500 watt heater, aluminum wire
connections can cause a safety issue.
24. SAVE THESE
INSTRUCTIONS

• Place the heater on a firm, level, open surface free from obstructions and at least 3 feet (0.9m)
away from any wall or any combustible material. DO NOT use on an unstable surface such as
bedding or deep carpeting.
BE SURE THE HEATER IS NOT IN A POSITION WHERE IT MAY BE TRIPPED OVER BY
CHILDREN OR PETS.
SET-UP
• Turn off the heater.
• Allow it to cool for ten minutes.
• Unplug heater and move.
MOVING THE HEATER
OPERATION
• NOTE: The 360° Surround Heat™ Heater requires no
assembly.
• NOTE: NEVER LEAVE AN OPERATING UNIT UNATTENDED
• The 360° Surround Heat™ Heater is designed to disperse heat
in a 360° range.
• With the Power Knob in the OFF (o) position, plug the heater
into a polarized 120V outlet.
DO NOT FORCE THE POLARIZED PLUG INTO THE OUTLET;
it will only fit one way.
• The Power Knob is equipped with three (3) settings:
Fan Only ( )
Low ( )
High ( )
The Low ( ) setting uses 750 watts of power and the High ( ) setting uses 1500 watts of
power. Fan Only ( ) setting uses 19 watts of power. You can select the proper setting to
accommodate your comfort level with the Power Knob. When you choose any setting the amber
Power Light will come on. Because the Low ( ) setting does not require as much electricity to
operate, it is more energy efficient and may be a better option if you are concerned about the
amperage draw on a circuit when the heater is on the High ( ) setting.
• Turn the Thermostat Control fully clockwise to the highest ( ) setting.
• When the room reaches a comfortable temperature, slowly turn the Thermostat Control
counter-clockwise until the heating element goes off (the amber Power Light will not be shut off).
This is the point at which the Thermostat setting equals the room temperature. At this setting,
the Thermostat will automatically turn the heater on and off to maintain the selected temperature.
• Turn the Power Knob to OFF (o) and unplug the heater when you are finished using it.

SAFETY FEATURES
The 360° Surround Heat™ Heater is equipped with several devices and features for added
protection:
• 360° SafetyTIP™ is an all-around tip-over switch that disables the heater if it is accidentally
tipped in any direction.
• A high temperature safety control prevents overheating.
• This heater is also equipped with a thermal cut-off fuse that will permanently shut down the
heater should it operate at a higher than normal temperature.
• This heater was created using a high quality safety plastic.
CLEANING
We recommend that the 360° Surround Heat™ Heater be cleaned at least once a month and before
off-season storage.
• Turn the heater OFF (o) and unplug it. Allow it to cool.
• Use a dry cloth only to clean the external surfaces of the heater. DO NOT USE WATER, WAXES,
POLISHES OR ANY CHEMICAL SOLUTION.
STORAGE
• Clean your 360° Surround Heat™ Heater using the above-mentioned steps. Wrap the cord
around the unit. Place in its original box and store it in a cool, dry place.
• This heater does not disassemble.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If your 360° Surround Heat™ Heater shuts off unexpectedly or fails to operate, one of your heater
safety features may have been activated to prevent overheating.
• Be sure it is plugged in and that the electrical outlet is working.
• Check your Thermostat Control setting. The unit may simply be off because you have reached
your desired heat setting.
• Check for any obstructions. If you find an obstruction, turn the heater OFF (o) and unplug it.
Allow the heater to cool completely, then remove the obstruction. Wait at least 10 minutes, then
re-plug the heater in and follow the OPERATION instructions.

11. Avertissement – Il est normal que la fiche
soit un peu chaude au toucher ; une
connexion prise de courant alternatif et fiche

brûlures.
21. Attention – Avant le nettoyage ou le
rangement et entre utilisations, ÉTEIGNEZ
le radiateur, débranchez-le et laissez-le
refroidir.
22. Attention – Posez le radiateur sur une
surface rigide, plane et d’aplomb, exempte
d’obstructions et située à au moins 0,9 m
(3 pi) des corps combustibles. NE le placez
PAS sur une surface instable – literie ou
moquette épaisse, par exemple. Veillez à
ce qu’il ne risque pas de faire trébucher
jeunes enfants ou animaux de compagnie.
Ses pieds de caoutchouc l’immobilisent
fermement.
23. Attention – Si l’installation électrique de
la maison comporte des fils d’aluminium,
faites vérifier la connexion à la prise par un
électricien agréé. Utiliser tout radiateur de
1500 watts avec câblage d’aluminium peut
compromettre la sécurité.
24. GARDEZ CES

• Poser le radiateur centralement, sur une surface rigide, plane, d’aplomb et exempte
d’obstructions, à au moins 0,9 m (3 pi) des murs et des matières combustibles. NE PAS
l’employer sur une surface instable – literie ou moquette épaisse, par exemple.

MISE EN PLACE
• Éteindre le radiateur

• REMARQUE : Le radiateur 360° Surround HeatMC ne requiert
aucun assemblage.
• REMARQUE : NE JAMAIS LAISSER L’APPAREIL SANS
SURVEILLANCE ALORS QU’IL FONCTIONNE
• Le radiateur 360° Surround HeatMC est conçu pour propager
la chaleur sur 360°.
• Le bouton de commande étant en position d’ARRÊT (o),
brancher le radiateur sur une prise polarisée de 120 volts.
NE PAS FORCER POUR ENFONCER LA FICHE DANS LA
PRISE ; elle ne rentre que dans un sens.
• Le bouton de commande présente trois (3) réglages :

Bas ( )
Haut ( )
La consommation d’énergie est de 750 watts au réglage bas ( ) et de 1500 watts au réglage
haut ( ). Le réglage ventilateur seulement ( ) utilise 19 watts d’énergie. Le bouton de
commande permet de sélectionner le réglage selon le niveau de confort recherché. Le voyant
lumineux ambre s’allume à la sélection. Le réglage bas ( ) utilisant moins d’énergie, c’est lui le
plus éconergétique ; il peut même constituer l’option la plus efficace pour les personnes qui se
soucient de la consommation élevée au réglage haut ( ).
• Tourner le thermostat à droite, au réglage le plus haut ( ).
• Lorsque la température ambiante est confortable, tourner très lentement le thermostat en sens
antihoraire jusqu’à ce que l’élément s’arrête (le voyant d’alimentation ambre ne s’éteindra pas).
Ce réglage du thermostat correspond à la température ambiante de la pièce. À ce réglage, le
thermostat fera automatiquement démarrer ou arrêter le radiateur pour maintenir le niveau choisi.
• Régler le bouton de commande à l’ARRÊT (o) et débrancher le radiateur en fin d’emploi.

CARACTÉRISTIQUES DE SÉCURITÉ
Le radiateur 360° Surround HeatMC présente plusieurs dispositifs et caractéristiques qui rehaussent
la protection.
• Le 360° SafteyTIPMC est un interrupteur circonférenciel qui met le radiateur hors tension en cas
de renversement, quelle que soit la direction.
• Une commande de haute limite de sécurité qui empêche la surchauffe.
• Un fusible thermique d’arrêt qui met le radiateur hors tension de façon permanente s’il
fonctionne à une température plus haute que la normale.
• Ce radiateur est fait de plastique de sécurité de haute qualité.
NETTOYAGE
Nous conseillons de nettoyer le radiateur 360° Surround HeatMC au moins une fois par mois et avant
le rangement de hors saison.
• Régler le radiateur à l’ARRÊT (o) et le débrancher. Le laisser refroidir.
• Ne dépoussiérer que les surfaces extérieures et ceci, avec un chiffon sec. N’EMPLOYER NI EAU,
NI CIRE, NI PRODUIT À POLIR, NI SOLUTION CHIMIQUE.
REMISAGE
• Nettoyer le radiateur 360° Surround HeatMC selon les directives ci-dessus. Enrouler le cordon
autour du boîtier. Placer l’appareil dans sa boîte d’emballage originale puis ranger celle-ci dans
un endroit frais et sec
• Ce radiateur n’est pas démontable.
DÉPANNAGE
Si le radiateur 360° Surround HeatMC s’éteint inopinément et ne fonctionne pas, il se peut que l’une
des caractéristiques de sécurité ait été activée pour empêcher la surchauffe.
• S’assurer que l’appareil est branché et que la prise de courant fonctionne.
• Vérifier le réglage du thermostat. L’appareil ne fonctionne peut-être pas parce que la température
désirée a été atteinte.
• Vérifier qu’aucun objet n’obstrue l’appareil. En présence d’une obstruction, éteindre l’appareil et
le débrancher. Le laisser refroidir complètement puis enlever l’obstruction. Attendre au moins
10 minutes, rebrancher l’appareil et suivre les instructions du MODE D’EMPLOI.

SUS RESPONSABILIDADES:
Los aparatos eléctricos pueden exponer a las

11. Advertencia – Es normal que el enchufe

15. Advertencia –Un calentador contiene en su
interior piezas calientes que generan arcos
voltaicos o chispas. No utilice el aparato en
áreas donde se utilice o almacene gasolina,
pintura o líquidos inflamables.
16. Advertencia – Use this heater only as
described in thUtilice el calentador sólo
como se describe en este manual. Cualquier
otro uso no recomendado por el fabricante

emite este calentador es variable y su
temperatura puede llegar a ser lo suficiente

uso de este calentador no es recomendable
para personas con menor sensibilidad al
calor o incapaces de reaccionar para evitar
quemaduras.
21. Precaución – Antes de limpiar, o guardar,
o cuando no esté en uso, APAGUE los
controles del aparato y desconecte el
calentador del tomacorriente y permita que
se enfríe.
22. Precaución – Coloque el calentador en una
superficie firme, plana y libre de obstáculos
y al menos 0.9 m (3pies) de distancia de

• Coloque el calentador en una superficie firme, nivelada y despejada, libre de obstrucciones y

OPERACIÓN
• NOTA: El Calentador de Ambiente de 360° MR no requiere
ensamblaje.
• NOTA: NUNCA DEJE UNA UNIDAD OPERANDO DESATENTIDA
• El Calentador de Ambiente de 360° MR está diseñado para
dispersar el calor en un rango de 360°.
• Con la perilla de poder en la posición de APAGADO (o),
conecte el calentador a una toma de corriente polarizada de
120 V~.
NO FUERCE EL ENCHUFE POLARIZADO A LA TOMA DE
CORRIENTE; es unidireccional.
• La Perilla de Poder está equipada con tres (3) ajustes:

Bajo ( )
Alto ( )
El ajuste Bajo ( ) utiliza 750 W de energía y el ajuste Alto ( ) utiliza 1500 W de energía.
El ajuste de Sólo Ventilador ( ) utiliza 19 W de energía. Con la Perilla de Poder puede
seleccionar el ajuste apropiado para acomodar su nivel de confort. Cuando escoja cualquier
ajuste la Luz de Poder color ámbar se iluminará. Ya que el ajuste Bajo ( ) no requiere de mucha
energía para su funcionamiento, es más ahorrador de energía y puede ser una mejor opción si le
preocupa el amperaje utilizado por un circuito cuando el calentador esté en el ajuste Alto ( ).
• Gire el Control del Termostato completamente hacia la derecha al ajuste MÁS ALTO ( ).
• Cuando la habitación alcance una temperatura cómoda, gire lentamente el Control del Termostato
hacia la izquierda hasta que el elemento térmico se apague (la Luz de Poder color ámbar no
se apagará). Este es el punto en el cual el ajuste del Termostato iguala la temperatura de la
habitación. En este ajuste, el Termostato encenderá o apagará automáticamente el calentador
para mantener la temperatura seleccionada.
• Gire la Perilla de Poder a APAGADO (o) y desconecte el calentador cuando termine de utilizarlo.

CARACTÉRISTIQUES DE SÉCURITÉ
El Calentador de Ambiente de 360° MR está equipado con varios dispositivos y características para
una protección adicional:
• El 360° SafetyTIPMR es un interruptor anti caídas el cual inhabilita el calentador si es
accidentalmente derribado en cualquier dirección.
• Un control de seguridad de temperatura alta previene el sobrecalentamiento.
• Este calentador está también equipado con un fusible térmico el cual apagará permanentemente
el calentador si funciona a una temperatura más alta de lo normal.
• Este calentador fue fabricado utilizando un plástico de seguridad de alta calidad.
LIMPIEZA
Le recomendamos limpiar el Calentador de Ambiente de 360° MR al menos una vez al mes y antes
de guardarlo al terminar la temporada.
• APAGUE (o) el calentador y desconéctelo. Permita que se enfríe.
• Utilice un paño seco para limpiar las superficies externas del calentador. NO UTILICE AGUA,
CERAS, ABRILLANTADORES U OTRAS SOLUCIONES QUÍMICAS.
ALMACENAMIENTO
• Limpie su Calentador de Ambiente de 360° MR utilizando los pasos mencionados arriba. Enrolle
el cable alrededor de la unidad. Colóquelo en la caja original y guarde en un lugar fresco y seco.
• Este calentador no se desarma.
PROBLEMAS
Si su Calentador de Ambiente de 360° MR se apaga inesperadamente o deja de funcionar, una
de las características de seguridad de su calentador puede estar activada para prevenir el
sobrecalentamiento.
• Asegúrese que el radiador está enchufado y que la toma de corriente funciona.
• Compruebe el ajuste del termostato. Puede que el radiador se haya parado porque haya
alcanzado la temperatura preseleccionada.
• Compruebe que no hay ningún objeto que obstruya el aparato. En caso afirmativo, apague
el radiador (OFF), desenchúfelo, déjelo enfriar completamente y quite dicho objeto. Espere
al menos 10 minutos antes de volver a enchufarlo siguiendo las instrucciones de la sección
FUNCIONAMIENTO;
