Auto: the most commonly used
setting. The humidity control calls
for humidity when needed.
Off: the humidity control does not
call for humidity.
Light Button
Press Light to select
Auto or On.
Auto: the most commonly used setting.
The backlight will turn on when any
button is pressed. It will turn off in
10 seconds if no other buttons are
pressed.
On: the backlight is always on.

To change humidity setting
Your new humidity control is pre-programmed
by the installer for either Automatic or Manual, or
Dehumidification mode.
Automatic Mode: In Auto Mode, the control will
provide humidity while protecting your windows
from condensation. Factors such as outdoor
temperature, quality of windows, and the climate
you live in will impact the right level of humidity.
If condensation appears on your windows, lower
the humidity setting by 1 level. Wait 24 hours to
see if the condensation goes away.
Repeat this until condensation is gone.
Manual Mode: In Manual Mode, you directly
set the desired level of humidity in hour home.
No Automatic adjustments are made. Set the
desired RH% you require in your home.

To set Humidity Boost
In automatic mode, the humidity control
automatically adjusts the humidity setting to
protect your windows.
If you want to increase the humidity in your
home, press the Up button until HUMIDITY
BOOST appears on screen.
Humidity Boost turns off window protection
and increases the Humidity Setting in your
home by 5%–10%.
Activating Humidity Boost may increase the
chance of condensation on windows.
NOTE: Humidity Boost is an optional feature
that is only enabled by a professional
installer.

This control has been pre-programmed to
give you the ideal amount of humidity in
your home. However, you may change the
advanced settings by following the steps
below.
To begin, press and hold the
SYSTEM and LIGHT buttons until the
display changes.

Function 5: Auto Mode Humidity
Setting
This setting controls the highest
humidity level the control will call for
in Automatic Mode. Range: 20%–60%
Function 17: High Temp Shutoff
This setting controls what outdoor
temperature will stop a call for humidity.
Range: 40°–90°
Press sor tto change settings.
Press NEXT to advance to the next function.
Press DONE to exit and save settings.

If your humidity control is setup to control
a whole-house dehumidifier, you set the
desired maximum humidity by pressing the
UP/DOWN Buttons.
This control includes a safety feature to
ensure the compressor in your dehumidifier
doesn’t get damaged from turning on and
off too frequently.
If the humidity set point is flashing, it
means the control is waiting to turn on your
dehumidifier until a safe amount of time has
passed to avoid damaging the dehumidifier. The humidity setpoint will flash if
the humidity control is waiting for
the dehumidifier protection time to
run out.

Troubleshooting
If you have difficulty with your humidity control, please try the following suggestions.
Most problems can be corrected quickly and easily.
Display is blank • Check circuit breaker and reset if necessary.
• Make sure power switch at heating and cooling system is on.
• Make sure furnace door is closed securely.
Humidity
settings do not
change
Make sure the humidity is set to an acceptable range:
• Auto Mode: 1–10 (up to 11 if Humidity Boost is enabled)
• Manual Mode: 20%–60%
• Dehumidification Mode: 40%–60%
Humidifier/
Dehumidifier will
not turn on
• Make sure the equipment fan is running.
• Make sure System Setting is ON.
• Make sure there is power going to the Humidifier or Dehumidifier.
Humidity Boost
does not appear Humidity Boost is only needed in certain applications. If you can’t get Humidity
Boost to appear, your contractor has determined that this feature is not needed
in your home.

Honeywell warrants this product, excluding battery, to be free from defects in the workmanship or materials,
under normal use and service, for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase by the consumer. If at
any time during the warranty period the product is determined to be defective or malfunctions, Honeywell shall
repair or replace it (at Honeywell’s option).
If the product is defective,
(i) return it, with a bill of sale or other dated proof of purchase, to the place from which you purchased it; or
(ii) call Honeywell Customer Care at 1-800-468-1502. Customer Care will make the determination whether the
product should be returned to the following address:
Honeywell Return Goods, Dock 4 MN10-3860, 1885 Douglas Dr. N., Golden Valley, MN 55422, or whether a
replacement product can be sent to you.
This warranty does not cover removal or reinstallation costs. This warranty shall not apply if it is shown by
Honeywell that the defect or malfunction was caused by damage which occurred while the product was in the
possession of a consumer.
Honeywell’s sole responsibility shall be to repair or replace the product within the terms stated above.
HONEYWELL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING ANY
INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM ANY BREACH
OF ANY WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, OR ANY OTHER FAILURE OF THIS PRODUCT. Some states do
not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to
you.
THIS WARRANTY IS THE ONLY EXPRESS WARRANTY HONEYWELL MAKES ON THIS PRODUCT. THE
DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, IS HEREBY LIMITED TO THE FIVE-YEAR DURATION OF THIS
WARRANTY.
