The HD8EXGCM18W has been developed through a combination of electronic
and engineering innovations to produce the smallest fully-integrated explosion-
proof, high speed PTZ camera available today. At less than 18" high and 7.8"
in diameter, and with a weight of only 44 pounds (20 kg), it can be installed
almost anywhere.
The HD8EXGCM18W provides the ultimate in explosion protection in the most
severely explosive atmospheres. With its EEx d IIC (Zone 0, Group IIC for explosive
gas environment) rating, it is suitable for all non-mine installations where acetylene,
hydrogen, ethylene, propane, methane or similarly dangerous gases may be
present. The HD8EXGCM18W also has an IP66 rating for use in extremely
dusty environments or in areas with heavy seas and/or strong jets of water.
The HD8EXGCM18W features an 18X TDN camera that automatically removes
the IR cut filter in extreme low-light conditions, allowing performance in light as
low as 0.01 lux. The HD8EXGCM18W provides 360° of continuous rotation at
0.1°/second to 400°/second and a 0° to -90° tilt range.
The HD8EXGCM18W features up to 128 presets, 4 preset tours and 4 mimic
tours. The dome also features a home position to return to a user-selected
position or start a user-defined tour after a period of inactivity. This ensures
unattended viewing of critical or important areas.
